Eat more calories than required. Eat energy rich foods Examples of energy rich foods Veg: milk and milk products, banana, dry fruits like figs, raisins and dates, nuts like peanuts, soyabean vegetable. Non veg: meat, chicken, eggs Do not drink water or drink less water before, during and after meals so that there should be enough space for eating food. Have 6,7 smaller meals instead of 2,3 larger meals. This is important for keeping blood sugar levels in check and prevention of diabetes. Increased food should be accompanied by exercise. It increases your appetite and protein mass and helps in preventing diabetes. Go to gymnasium and do less of cardio on treadmill and more of strength toning exercises.

Dear Lybrate user, The common symptoms of depression includes Pain in back, anxiety, apathy, general discontent, guilt, hopelessness, loneliness, loss of interest, loss of interest or pleasure in activities, mood swings, panic attack, sadness, or emotional distress, agitation, excessive crying, irritability, restlessness, self-harm, or social isolation, early awakening, excess sleepiness, insomnia, or restless sleep, excessive hunger, fatigue, or loss of appetite, lack of concentration, slowness in activity, or thoughts of suicide etc. Depressive disorder or depression is a neuro chemical disorder. You must be able to distinguish between mental disease and mental disorder. Your problem is a mental disorder. Not a mental disease. These mental disorders are usually treated with a combination of medicines and other means like awareness, meditation, Psychotherapy techniques, life style changes etc. Take care.

Dear, follow methods by which you can gain your desired height. 1. Follow these exercises regularly and you get the goal of height gain: * first stand straight bare foot on floor, then raise your arms upwards then raise your heels of foot with breathing in, try to stand on heels for 10-12 seconds and slowlylower down your heels back on the floor and breath outthe air. Repeat this exercise 5-8 times in morning. *sit on the floor, stretch you legs together so that both foot touch each other. Now raise your arms upwards together with back straight, now move your hands towardstoes of feet and touch them. Your forehead touching your knees. Slowly revert back the arms and move back arms in normal position. Repeat this exercise 2-4 times daily. You can privately consult me for understanding more exercises. 2. Take 300 ml of rich cream milk, 200 gm of cheese and 2-3 eggs regularly. It will definitely give boost to your bone growth. 3. Sit in sun rays for atleast 8-10 minutes in morning of evenings when the sun rays are not so strong. It will help you by getting adequate quantity of vitamin-d. 4. The growth and height iscontrolled by growth hormone whichis secreted by pituitary gland situated in the brain. So take meditation and have a stressfree lifestyle. Take 6-8 hours of sleep daily. Meditation makes your pituitatry gland healthy and working properly.

Simple carbohydrates that have high amount of sugar and less fiber and nutrients like cakes, biscuits and white flour often redirect the nutrients consumed through other sources to the process of digestion of their own. They could indirectly lead to hair loss since sugar is known for slowing down the ability of the body to handle stress – and stress is a major factor for hair fall. Eating complex carbohydrates and fibrous food like wholemeal flour, bananas and beans, on the other hand, help digestion and body’s ability to carry nutrients to blood stream and effectively, to hair follicles.

My weight is very low so what can do for weight gain in 6 to 7 kg please suggest me.

Eat meals at frequent intervals. Eat a mid meal between each main meal. Avoid junk foods. Include dairy eggs nuts fruits in your meals. Avoid alcohol and smoking. Exercise at least thrice a week. Even if you were to take medicines or supplements. They will not work in isolation. You have to have a calorie and nutrient dense meal.

Anything we eat helps in hypoglycemia. If it's mild, take biscuits. If severe take sweet item. Usually chances are very very negligible for REVERSAL of diabetes. It can be controlled easily but there is no guarantee of its reversal. Please do not be victim of those who claim so. Keep in touch with your doctor for better control. Sweet items or high calories item has to be avoided at any stage of diabetes.
