Avoid sitting cross legged. Avoid squatting- quadriceps exercises- lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain.

Hello, first of all you should know what is backache and by which factors it caused and aggravated. The usual cause of low back pain is the sedentary lifestyle that we lead these days. There is hardly any movement. walking, running and cycling like activities are also not a part of our daily routine. To add to it, our diet consists more and more of junk food. Fresh fruits, vegetables and high fibre foods are consumed less and less. These daily practices lead to obesity. The increased body weight puts lot of pressure on the spine which has to bear all the extra unwanted weight. The back muscles which are already weak due to lack of exercise and wrong posture are unable to cope with this increased load. This causes pain in the back muscles. Management for Back Pain:-Along with medicines for relieving pain, one needs to identify the cause and correct it. This may require some medicines or some correction in your posture or reducing weight or improving your lifestyle. At the same time, there is a need to work on the local muscle strengthening. Back muscles need to be strengthened so that they can bear the weight of the upper body. For this exercises of the back muscles are very helpful. Regular walking is also very helpful as it is a wholesome exercise of the body, improves blood circulation and helps lose weight. Most importantly if you are overweight then losing weight is an important part of the whole treatment plan .Long term use of painkillers for low back pain is harmful Treatment for back pain:- Homoeopathic medicines are very helpful. They not only treat the acute stages but are also used for the treatment of chronic back pain.Selection of the exact remedy depends upon the individual symptoms of the person.So share the complete symptom picture for the proper treatment. I suggest you follow the below for your condition: take mag phos 6x - thrice daily for next 2 weeks and update. Also do x-ray of the affected area. Heat and ice packs. Heat and/or cold therapy helps relieve most types of low back pain by reducing inflammation. Often patients use ice, but some prefer heat. Both may be used alternately.

concentrate on diets rich in calcium, magnesium and vitamin-d or a supplement with this combination. have iron rich food and fruits. do simple exercises in the morning.

I am 44 years old male. My weight is 67 kg. Last 8 to 9 month back one passengers briefcase hit on my left knee. Now it is painning. What should I do?

This could be due to oa knee precipitated by injury physiotherapy along with medicines will help. Do knee exercises. It may have to be further investigated rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with a soft bedding on it. Any way take multivitamins & other antioxidants along with. Ibuprofen 200mg od & sos x 5days you will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. Do ask for detailed treatment plan. Don't ignore. It could be beginning of a serious problem.

Hello, medication like methylcobalamine with muscle relaxant and analgesic will reduce pain; you can take them. I will advise to check your vit b12 and vit d3 level. Hope this answers your query. Hi thanks for your query. I need to know the elaborate history from you so that I can understand cause of pain, duration of joint pains and any associated symptoms like stiffness which you have stated that you are having. There is a workup for polyarthralgia ( multiple joint pains ) which needs to be done if history and clinical examination point to it. At this age I would like you to get some tests like cbc, esr and crp levels done. Also ra factor, anti ccp needs to be done. I also need hla b27 levels, serum calcium, vitamin d levels done do not hesitate to contact me if you need any further assistance or when you get reports of these blood tests. Hello, if you have low back pain and sciatica it is better to consult the physiotherapist so that you shall undergo intermittent pelvic traction where in your half of your body weight will be added in the electronic traction so that that would help you to reduce the pain, along with interferential therapy stimulations which would help you to get relieved from the radiating pain. Apply ice if you cannot go immediately for the physiotherapy treatment. Ice can be kept in the low back where you have back pain. It is suggestible to wear lumbo sacral belt which would help you to build the abdominal muscle tone which itself would make you feel better. You can also wear mcr chappals which would help you to have less weight falling in the painful back.

Hi Apply pranacharya restopain oil or prasarini oil on your affected part then give hot fomentation. Take maha rasnadi kwath 2-2 tsf twice a day...take pranacharya vatari syrup and capsule twice a day...And agni tundi vati and maha yograj guggul 1-1 tab twice a day...

sir avoid prolong sitting or standing. avoid stooped posture.avoid carrying heavy load from ground. if bachache is very severe take short course of painkillers. add calcium and vit d in ur diet or take them as supplementation.when pain is relieved go for back stretching excercises

Extension exercises x 15 times x twice daily. Bhujang asana. Core strengthening exercises. Back stretchingstretch do the cat/cow avoid bending in front. Postural correction- sit tall, walk tall. Apply hot fomentation.

U may be having some spinal problem, or core muscle weakness which causes this pain as the back muscles get fatigued easily while doing the act. You need to do few exercises for strengthening your back muscles and follow some guide for maintaining proper posture, not only during sex but during other activities. Also, change or modify the way/ the position which you use mostly during the act, and see if changing the position causes no pain afterwards.

I am a 26 year old male. Lately I've been feeling unhappy, I have a good paying job, a good girlfriend, family but despite all this I don't feel the energy and happiness I used to feel. My mind is on a constant thinking mode and it never stops, I don't sleep well I don't feel like eating much (less than how it used to be earlier). Hi, Its is advised you show yourself to a psychiatrist your symptoms point out towards mild depression and it has nothing to do with having everything going perfect in life. It can happen to anyone just like BP, Sugar etc. The earlier its treated the better it is. Apart from that consult a psychologist for psychotherapy who will help you to manage your stress as a result of depression. I would like you to practice Mindful Breathing The primary goal of mindful breathing is simply a calm, nonjudging awareness, allowing thoughts and feelings to come and go without getting caught up in them. Sit comfortably, with your eyes closed and your spine reasonably straight. Bring your attention to your breathing. Imagine that you have a balloon in your tummy. Every time you breathe in, the balloon inflates. Each time you breathe out, the balloon deflates. Notice the sensations in your abdomen as the balloon inflates and deflates. Your abdomen rising with the in-breath, and falling with the out-breath. Thoughts will come into your mind, and that’s okay, because that’s just what the human mind does. Simply notice those thoughts, then bring your attention back to your breathing. Likewise, you can notice sounds, physical feelings, and emotions, and again, just bring your attention back to your breathing. You don’t have to follow those thoughts or feelings, don’t judge yourself for having them, or analyse them in any way. It’s okay for the thoughts to be there. Just notice those thoughts, and let them drift on by, bringing your attention back to your breathing. Whenever you notice that your attention has drifted off and is becoming caught up in thoughts or feelings, simply note that the attention has drifted, and then gently bring the attention back to your breathing. It's okay and natural for thoughts to enter into your awareness, and for your attention to follow them. No matter how many times this happens, just keep bringing your attention back to your breathing. Practice it daily 15 minutes morning evening or whenever your consciousness is clouded with thoughts.

Dear get Serum uric acid Heamoglobin test done. Do fasting once a week daily. only take fruits like pineapple, pomegranate, apple and guava. prefer lemon water. Drink plenty of fluids and water. Eat light non spicy and healthy food daily. Stop taking tea coffee, aerated drinks and alcohol. Do morning walk daiy. Take 2 tab chitrakadi vati twice a day with water 30 min after meals. Mix equal quantities of powdered fenugreek seeds, turmeric and ginger powder. Take one teaspoon daily in the morning and evening. For dry fomentation of the affected joints, take a cloth and fold it into four, fill it with hot and sand make a potli (bag) out of it. Use this bundle for the fomentation of different joints. This is very helpful in reducing pain and swelling.
