Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring folding beds or thick matress are harmful usee no pillow under the head. Do hot fomantation. Paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck back knee & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. For emergency treatment contact your nearest hospital or family doctor. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, contact me again. Why not discuss with me in a video conference? Neck pain radiating to arm n fore arm because cerbical spondylitis. Then use cervical collar, avoid 2 wheeler driving. Cervical collar will take the weight of head. So strain on neck bones will be decrease. Maintain erect posture at everywhere. Use cervical pillow. Or towel folding under neck. For back pain use folded bedsheet under your low back. For knee arthritis use pillow under knees horizontally.

It might be of ls spine or of gluteus muscle strain of rupture do consult neuro physio and take appropriate therapy.

X-ray and mri firstly. Maintain your posture. Sit straight. Avoid long sitting toward bending and long standing, tk physiotherapy treatment swd ift and ultrasonic therapy. Then start stretching exercise in daily routine. Do strength exercise of back.

Hello physiotherapy is the best treatment for this condition. Please send me all investigation reports if available. I can help you by providing correct ergonomic and physiotherapeutic tips. Till then you can follow these advises:- 1. Take calcium supplements and sun bath daily to prevent further damage to your joints. 2. Avoid heavy lifting. 3. Avoid squatting, cross leg sitting and weight bearing activities. 4. Use western toilet. 5. Wear shock absorbing, good quality of shoes while walking. 6. Keep roll of a towel under your knees while sleeping. 7. Perform some gentle exercises and stretching of your all joints before getting out of your bed. 8. Walk straight with shoulder protracted. 9. Apply hot fomentation twice daily. Avoid bending in front. Postural correction- sit tall, walk tall. Extension exercises x 15 times x twice daily. Bhujang asana. Core strengthening exercises. Back stretching. Do the cat/cow stretch.

My father weight is 105 kg n suffering from osteo arthritics. Doctors said to consult with ortho specialist rhematologist. He said to change the knee cap of both legs. Will it be beneficial? He is also a sugar patient Now what should I do?

Mr. lybrate-user, I have gone through the query, and understand your concer. One major difficulty is he is obese with a grade 2 obesity (BMI 35.23 kgs/M2). This is the major reason for osteoarthritis and diabetes. But due to pain in the knees he is unlikely to do any worthwhile exercise. In such a situation one of the best option is to look for total knee replacement (if affordable). Because post that he may be able to walk a considerable distance and work on reducing weight. At his age ideal weight should be about 65 kgs. So my suggestion is to consider knee replacement, strict control of blood glucose by using Insulin injections and later concentrate on weight reduction through exercise and diet. Thanks.

1.It could be a tension headache due to stress, strain,depression,agitation, Hypertension or migraine. 2.Avoid stress, physical and mental exertion, take adequate sleep for 7-8 hours daily 3.Go for regular exercise 4.Practice yoga, meditation and deep breathing exercise to calm your mind, control your emotion and relieve stress 5.Check for refractive error, sinusitis Hemoglobin, BP 6. Consult Neurologist to rule out other causes of headache 7.consult me for further advice

Do have balanced diet avoid stress anxiety and focusing the same things again and again of negative nature take ift for knee for 12 days followed by static quadriceps exercise from neuro physio best wishes.

Avoid sitting cross legged. Avoid squatting- quadriceps exercises- lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core strengthening exercise- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day.
