I am 28 years old. I had a very smooth skin on my back. But since last 2 months (during summers), I find them to be very rough and bumpy. Ashokarishtha is good for painful menses it will also help you regularise your cycle to 25-28 days. You can take it regularly daily but stop it when you get your menses, once menses are over you can start it again. Thanks.

I am Sitam Satapathy. 22 years old. I have been suffering from acne and face blemishing problems and acne left out spots from a long days. I have consulted a good dermatologist of here. And he prescribed me a face wash Clinsure (Cetyl alcohol and Stearyl alcohol) and a gel with cyndamycin and nicotinamide. Now the situation is getting worse after 3 days. You are suffering from sexual weakness due to over masturbation do first leave masturbation and watching porn altogether and start taking ayurvedic treatment. Do yoga and light exercise every day. How to lose fat from hips and thighs Dietary changes – • Check the oil that you are using. Vegetable-based and olive oils are good for you. Cut down on ghee, butter, cheese, paneer and margarine. • Limit your carb intake. Restrict yourself while eating potatoes, white rice, sago, pasta and other products made of refined flours. • Use only skimmed milk and skimmed milk curd. • Give up on all the fried foods until you get that shape. Nothing will come easily. Avoid fries, pakodas, samosa, fried momos, chips, and other fried snacks. • Increase your fibre intake. Eat whole cereals, oats, broken wheat / daliya, brown rice, brown breads, fruits with skin and a lot of green veggies. If possible mix bran into your flour. • If you are a non-vegetarian and enjoy fish, you will love this diet. Eat fish upto 4 times a week. Bake it, grill it but don’t fry it. You can have other lean meats up to 2 times in a week. And egg whites for breakfast are a good idea. • 2 tsp of Triphala churn, along with ginger water is excellent way to help you liver to break down fats speedily and effectively. • Cut the intake of wheat. Extra carbs always end of on hips and thighs. Include other cereals like jowar, bajra, and mix these flours with horse gram flour and soya flour. • Go very light with your dinners. A plate full of salad made out of veggies, sprouts, fruits along with soups will help. Fill in with a very small portion of brown rice or daliya. In short have a fiber and protein rich dinner and go low on carbs. Eat dinner around 7.30 pm and having a small walk after it will only add up to your goal. • Consume as much of water as you can and eat different varieties of melons for better results. How to lose fat from hips and thighs through exercise • Walking is the best exercise for your hips and thighs. Walking up to 4 km per day will make your goal appear closer and closer. • If I ask you, “how to lose fat from hips and thighs”? you would probably answer cross trainer or the cycle at gym. These exercises will only help you in tightening your muscles and then bulking them up. • If you have been walking already, but don’t see much result, then you might need to increase the distance by a km and the intensity of walks from the 30thminute onwards. A diet rich in iron, calcium and silica can help greatly in reducing or preventing hair loss. Iron can be obtained from green leafy vegetables such as spinach and collard greens. Dear, you can get a healthy muscular body by following methods: - 1. To gain weight, your digestion should work properly for proper digestion - take 10 gms powder of carom seeds (ajwain, 10 gm powder of cumin (jeera), 10 gm of rock salt. Mix them well and take 1/2 teaspoon (3-5 gm) of mixture daily after meal. 2. Take a diet rich with proteins and fats. You should take high calorie food that increase your muscle mass and induce growth in bones. Follow the diet chart in your daily life to fastly gain weight * in morning, take a glass of milk added with 2 teaspoons of protein powder with breakfast. * in lunch time, take 1 bowl of curd or 100 gm of cheese, a bowl of vegetable, with chapattis. * in evening, take 1 glass of milk (300 ml) with 2 bananas. * in night, take a bowl of careals (daal, a bowl of salad with chapattis. 3. In morning, get up early and take awalk for 10-15 minutes and exercise light weight exercises for at least 30 minutes at home or gym. 4. For proper weight, proper sleep is very important. Kindly show me a photograph of the affected part. Rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful Do hot fomantation. Paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck, back & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. You will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. If it does not give relief in 1 wk, contact me again. Do not ignore. It could be beginning of a serious problem.

Once the reality of the positive pregnancy test sets in, dreaming about the yet-to-arrive begins. Curiosity about gender, options for names, ways to manage, shopping ideas, etc., begin to get discussed. And then totally out of the blue the news comes that there is a miscarriage. This is one of the most depressing phases. It is very important for the family to be around and support each other. While the entire family is upset and hurt over the news, the mother needs most care as there is just not emotional but a huge physical component also to the episode. On the other hand, remember that miscarriages are extremely common, and is no indication of a fertility issue.

The first step would be to diagnose and confirm the miscarriage. After that, depending on whether it was complete or incomplete, some medical intervention might be required. In most cases, medications like misoprostol are given to expel the uterine contents. These help by clearing out the contents in about a couple of days' time. In some cases, a D and C might be required if your doctor suspects that medication will not suffice. This also helps identify if there is any issue in the uterus that could have caused the miscarriage.

While the above takes care of the physical part, the emotional component also requires cautious management. Needless to say, this is trickier than the earlier one.

  • Mourn to your heart's content - When you have nursed a life within you and have lost it, it is very normal to cry for its loss. There would be a mix of emotions - shock, denial, confusion, anger, grief, depression, etc. Take some solace from that fact that this is nature's way of removing unhealthy fetuses.
  • Get someone to talk to - Need not be your husband, but anybody whom you can talk to without having to watch words. A sibling, a good friend, a close relative - your choice. Make sure you don't pick ones who will judge and sympathize with you. More than sympathy, you need someone understanding and knowledgeable.
  • Socialize more - As you would have kept to yourself post your positive test, use this time to socialize more and meet friends whom you have not regularly been in touch with. Close family members, your children (if you already have), society groups, movie groups, etc., help to a great extent.
  • Formal medical counseling: If you are not able to cope with your regular circle of family and friends, try seeking professional advice from counseling.
  • Spirituality - Whether you believe in temple or churches, spend some time there. Involve in some religious activity if you would like, this helps very often.

As much as it is painful and traumatic, it is not very uncommon or unnatural. Get back on your feet, the sooner you do, the better.

The nature of the type of the fever and the duration should be considered as there are many types which could help narrow down the differential diagnosis you are considering.

Continuous fever: Where the temperature remains above normal throughout a 24-hour period and does not fluctuate more than 1 degree Celsius in 24 hours. This type of fever occurs in lobar pneumonia, typhoid, urinary tract infection, infective endocarditis, brucellosis, and typhus.

Remittent fever: The temperature remains above normal throughout the day and fluctuates more than 2 degree Celsius in 24 hours. This type is seen in patients with typhoid fever and infective endocarditis.

Pel-Ebstein fever: There is a regular alternation of recurrent bouts of fever and febrile periods. The temperature may take 3 days to rise, remain high for 3 days and then remits over 3 days. The patient could then be apyrexial for 9 days.

Intermittent fever: In a 24 hour period the temperature is only present for some hours of the day and the rest of the time is normal. The spike can occur same time each day, every other day or every few days but is normally in a repetitive pattern. Examples of some diseases which have an intermittent fever are malaria, pyemia, and septicemia.

Septic fever: A very high temperature which doesn't improve with antipyretics can indicate a septic fever and the patient should be seen quickly and reviewed to prevent any further deterioration in their state of health.

Cyclical recurrent fevers or periodic fevers: These are recurrences of fever which last from a few days to a few weeks and are separated by symptom-free intervals. This pattern of fever can be caused by recurrent infection, malignancy or non-infectious inflammatory diseases. Attacks of fever which follow the same course normally have a non-infectious cause like Still's disease, Rheumatoid arthritis, Crohn's disease and Bechet's syndrome. A family history of periodic fever could indicate Familial Mediterranean Fever or Hyper-IgD syndrome.

I have surfing from migraine. Sometime headache is out of control. How can I relief it.

You can use crocin or anacin or combiflam etc. (take it only if you have no known drug allergies) here are some tips to prevent a migraine attack: 1. Identify and avoid migraine triggers. You can keep track of your headache patterns and identify headache triggers by using a headache diary. 2. Recall what was eaten prior to an attack to help you identify chemical triggers. 3. Manage stress to prevent or reduce the severity of the migraine attacks. 4. Follow a regular daily routine and get adequate rest. 5. Exercise (in moderation) regularly.
