Since some day I am observing some blood in my spit, whenever I use to sleep at late nights, or sometimes in early mrngs, before brushing d teeth, I experienced dis prblm. For a fraction of moment, my mouth becomes smelly as blood, after spitting 3-4 times, it becomes normal. I am tensed about dis prblm. I dnt understand whether this is tooth problem or anything else, please suggest me.

gum bleeding is associated with periodontal problem.. tooth problem can be either periodontal or carious lesion, here is the solution for both of them it seems you might be having periodontal problem.. c/as pyorrhea...you need to get rid of it... it needs aggressive therapy...you need to make a habit of rinsing your mouth everytime you eat something and brush regularly (once in the morning before meals and once at night after dinner),add a mouthwash for better oral hygiene.... if the problem persist, you need to consult a dentist for more specific diagnosis and treatment would be tailored accordingly

I have decaying teeth with cavities. Suggest to get supplement for stronger teeth or medication.

Dentist,

There is no supplement available to protect teeth from cavities. Keep your teeth clean, brush twice a day, also flossing should be started because it helps cleaning in between two teeth.

Make your teeth sparkle this festive season- home remedies
The bleaching property present in lemons can help get rid of yellow discoloration. In fact, gargling with lemon juice and scrubbing your teeth with lemon peel is one of the best ways to make your teeth white again.

Please visit dental surgeon and get the tooth cleaning and dressing properly and take medicines as advised, of course the best way is to remove the wisdom tooth and it is absolutely a safe operation. Just relax and go for removal of tooth by an oral surgeon.

It takes usually 6 months for an implant for single implant if started today if all the factors are suitable like control of diabetes, bone support, time the space without teeth and so on. According to me your age considering it as a factor healing would be a major problem. And the maintanance would be highly difficult otherwise whole effort, money and time of yours would go waste. Even if you want to go only for implants simply ask your dentist weather he can provide any warranty on the treatment done and proceed accordingly. Hoping for the best.

This problem is difficult to diagnose without clinical check up, it may be due to bone loss, or something else please consult to oral surgeon and periodontologist.

Is it good to take medicine regularly for toothache or should I follow something else?

Is it good to take medicine regularly for toothache or should I follow something else?
The type of treatment you have for toothache will depend on the cause of the pain, so your dentist will examine your mouth and may carry out an X-ray to try to identify the problem. •If your toothache is caused by tooth decay, your dentist will remove the decayed area and replace it with a filling. •If your toothache is caused by a loose or broken filling, the filling will be taken out, any decay will be removed and a new filling put in place. •If the pulp inside your tooth is infected, you may need root canal treatment. This procedure involves removing the infected pulp and then inserting a special type of filling to seal the tooth and prevent re-infection. •If your toothache can't be treated using these methods, or if your tooth is impacted (wedged between another tooth and your jaw), it may need to be removed.

This is called pericoronitis. Extraction of offending tooth is best cure for this condition or you can also go for operculectomy in which overlying tissue flap is removed.

Hi, I am 23years old, I am suffering from teeth problem, between two teeth, there is a gape. So what can I do.
Hi lybrate-user, you have a condition called as diastema. In diastema, there is spacing between two or more teeth which compromises aesthetics. This problem is very common and can easily be corrected by orthodontic treatment or braces. You wil be required to visit an orthodontist. Depending upon the gap, braces may be required for 6months or 1year. But the results are permanent and lasting, and will help improve your smile. These days, tooth colored braces and all sorts of aesthetic wires are available, which not compromise your looks, unlike the conventional metallic braces. I advise you to get the treatmenti initiates as early as possible. The jaw bone is softer and more moldable when young, due to which braces in younger people result in better outcomes compared to their older counterparts. So the sooner, the better. All the best.

There are some causes which is responsible for gum receding disease,,, like preodontal disease where bacterial infection infect the teeth, gum and the bone supporting the teeth,, aggressive brushing also can cause,, insufficient dental care like insufficient brushing, floss etc and also use antibacterial mouth wash causes plaque to form stone like material,,some hormonal changes,,tobacco chewing,, grinding and clenching teeth also can cause this,,,,well if it is mild in nature then deep cleaning or scaling can be effective with proper antibiotics,,if it's severe in nature then u need surgical help like open flap scaling and root planning,, regeneration,,soft tissue grafting

There could some reason for the sensitivity which needs to be checked. Please visit the dentist to remove the real cause for problem. Alternative tooth paste called" Thermoseal RA" can be used. Apply on sensitive area. Keep for 20 - 30 mins and then rinse. Also avoid foods that increase sensitivity.
