Hi I am rajendra 26 year old male. I have suffering from headache since last two year. What should I do?
Common causes of headache are - Vision problem, sinusitis, anxiety, tensions, migraine, cold, inadequate sleep, cluster headaches, high BP. Get ur vision checked and blood pressure checked. If nasal congestion, take steam inhalation twice daily. Over-the-counter painkiller medicine if intolerable pain will help u. Drink plenty of liquids. Eat healthy diet. Take adequate rest. Avoid stress. If required, consult with details.

What are the symptoms of dengue fever?
The principal symptoms of dengue are: -high fever and at least two of the following: -severe headache -severe eye pain (behind eyes) -joint pain -muscle and/or bone pain -rash -mild bleeding manifestation (nose or gum bleed, petechiae, or easy bruising) Watch for warning signs as temperature declines 3 to 5 days after symptoms/fever began, as this is the most dangerous period when platelet counts decline significantly. Report immediately to hospital if any of the following warning signs appear: -severe abdominal pain or persistent vomiting -red spots or patches on the skin -bleeding from nose or gums -vomiting blood -black, tarry stools  -drowsiness or irritability -pale, cold, or clammy skin -difficulty breathing

I want to give up smoking. Can't do it without help. What do you suggest/advise. I have been smoking for forty years. I had a very bad cough this winter and decided that I must give up.

It is good that you are keeping physically active. What you now need to focus on is to come up with the strategies that will help you with the craving. For example, what would help you to distract your mind from smoking. If you like tea or coffee you may decide to grab one instead of a cigarette. Or perhaps keeping a chewing gum or candy and grab one instead. I would also suggest that exam might be a stressful time so do not try quitting right now as, it will increase your chances for relapse which will effect your motivation and confidence to quit. Best way to quit is to work on individualized plan and strategies that will help you maintain the motivation and help manage your craving. Following tips might help. I do offer 3 to 6 month program where I talk with client on a weekly basis. If you are interested than you may book initial online audio consultation. Smoking has many adverse effect on different system in your body. Congratulations that you are thinking about quitting it. Now you need to figure out the best strategy that works for you. Following information may help you. One of the few habits which takes very systematic approach and needs lot of support and individualized strategies to quit successfully. Data such as - since how long are you smoking and how many cigarettes a day you consume are important information. Also have you tried quitting it earlier? how successful were you? and what are your personal reasons to stop smoking? all these are also important part of your success strategy. Broadly speaking your reasons for not smoking work as your motivator. The stronger the reasons behind not smoking the higher the motivation and thus higher the chances for you to be successful. Also your body will have a withdrawal symptoms and it is very important to come up with strategies and solid plan to counter these withdrawal symptoms. These strategies should be tailor-maid as per your need and situation. If you consider these and many other individualized approach and if you have a solid support throughout your journey. You would be able to make a shift from being a smoker to a non smoker. Along with this eating healthy and having a good routine for eat and sleep is also very important. 1. Eat a diet higher in salt. 2. Drink lots of nonalcoholic fluids/ especially salty drink e. G. Salty lassi, salty lemon water, et. C. 3. Limit alcoholic beverages. 4. Drink more fluids during hot weather and while sick with a viral illness, such as a cold or the flu. 5. Get regular exercise to promote blood flow. 6. Be careful when rising from lying down or sitting. To help improve circulation, pump your feet and ankles a few times before standing up. Then proceed slowly. When getting out of bed, sit upright on the edge of the bed for a few minutes before standing. 7. Elevate the head of your bed at night by placing bricks or blocks under the head of bed. 8. Avoid heavy lifting. 9. Avoid straining while on the toilet. 10. Avoid prolonged exposure to hot water, such as hot showers and spas. If you get dizzy, sit down. It may be helpful to keep a chair or stool in the shower in case you need to sit; to help prevent injury, use a nonslip chair or stool designed for use in showers and bath tubs. 11. To avoid problems with low blood pressure and lessen episodes of dizziness after meals, try eating smaller, more frequent meals. Cut back on carbohydrates. Rest after eating. Avoid taking drugs to lower blood pressure before meals. 12. If needed, use elastic support (compression) stockings that cover the calf and thigh. These may help restrict blood flow to the legs, thus keeping more blood in the upper body.

Normally young men with tight foreskin, have this problem of very sensitive penis head. This happens because, at all the times, the penis head (aka glans penis) lies within the cover of foreskin. So, it is least exposed to outer atmosphere, hence remains sensitive.  This problem can be solved with following techniques. 1. Get the problem of tight foreskin corrected. Eventually, more exposure of penis head to air will lessen the sensitivity. 2. It is a good habit for all youngsters to slowly try to roll back the foreskin (skin covering the penis head) back over the penis head. You may not succeed at the first attempt, but if you stretch regularly, then things will be better by the day. 3. Half an hour before bath, Take Ksheerabala taila (herbal Ayurvedic oil), apply this oil to the tip of the penis and gently try to roll back the foreskin. Apply the oil to the exposed penis head, gently massage the penis head with fingers. This will reduce the sensitivity to a larger extent.

Hello, I am giving you some tips to prevent constipation: 1. take 6-8 glass of water in a day 2.Regular Physical activity Keeping mobile and active will greatly reduce your risk of getting constipation. Ideally do at least 150 minutes of physical activity every week. 3.You should have about 30 g of fibre a day. You can increase your fibre intake by eating more: I am giving you list of some fibre containing food fruit vegetables wholegrain rice whole wheat pasta wholemeal bread seeds oats 4.Toilet habits Never ignore the urge to go to the toilet Consult Physician for Further Management

Now fasting days of ramadan. Which foods are healthy for iftar (breaking time of fasting) and suhoor (at 3 or 4 am). We keralites uses a lots of fruits, snacks (fried in oil), chappathies, meat curries and tea for iftar and some rice for suhoor. Now a days folks says don't use fruits of market because they are poisoned. Because please advise me about what's good food habit ?

E cigarette is in electronic cigarette which is a battery powered device filled with liquid nicotine.. when you take a puff battery heats up and causes nicotine to vapourise which is then inhaled into the lung. it gives a sensation of in mouth and lung without smoking. it is called vaping. it can be an option to quit smoking. however it is not full proof and has many adverse effect on lung

Hi thanks for your question, i would like to ask how was your sugar control, get an hbaic checked and a blood & pus culture done for the above and can start with appropriate antibiotics, if the sugar is not in control infections take long time to heal.
