Sir/madam, (a) on what frequency should I go for tests reg blood sugar, bp and lipid profile. (b) I am presently taking medicines since last six months for blood sugar, bp and lipid profile namely: eritel 40 @ 1 tab daily, stamlo 5 @ 1tab daily clavix @ I tab daily triglimisave 2hs @ 1 tab daily roseday-f 10 @ 1 tab daily vogli-m 0.2 @ 2 tab daily should I continue this further or go for a test, please suggest/advice. My present weight is 86 kg and height is 5 feet 4 inches. I jog on tread mill daily for 15/20 minutes in morning.

Hello firs you have to cut your weight by 25 kgs. Otherwise treatment may not help much. Blood sugar has to be checked every week. Hba1c once in 3 to 4 months. Lipid profile once in six months. Try and maintain sugar levels as close to normal as possible.

Hi Doctor, I am 32 year female, I started doing walking while going and coming to office and generally wear heels, but now I am getting unbearable pain on my right leg under toe area and ankle, can you please advise what would be the problem for this pain.

Long walks with with high heel shoes can cause severe pain in foot & ankle. Pain in heels is a common condition rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Do hot fomentation keep a pillow under the legs at night &/when resting. Any way take take multivitamins & other antioxidants along with. Ibuprofen 200mg od & sos x 5days you will need other supportive medicines also. Do ankle/foot & toe exercises it may have to be further investigated make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. Hi Olive,first you need to reduce weight ,start diet with low carbohydrate and high protein,antioxidants. Also please get started with exercise daily for 45 minutes . Once you reduce weight your period will be regular no need for medications.

Dear , thyroid problem itself causes skin dryness, and itching problems, also thyronorm has its own side effects in which skin allergy is one of the main side effects. Hi lybrate-user. Cancers are of 2 types. 1. Life threatening 2. Common ones. Life threatening ones are associated with bleeding, fast growing, family history of cancers. The common ones are non life threatening and are completely opposite of the life threatening ones. As per your symptoms, one can hardly say that you are having life threatening cancer. Light vertical hardly visible lines may be attributed to multiple reasons. Nutrition may be one of them. AVOID STRESS. Please visit a Dermatologist for a confirmation.

For constipation I will suggest you to eat food with high fiber content like green leafy vegetables and can also eat bananas at bedtime as it is effective as a laxative and if necessary take 10 ml of syp cremaffin at night and can do exercise regularly.

For pain take tablet paracetamol and avoid spicy food in your diet and take cp veloz d once before breakfast and take tablet folvite 5mg once a day for six months and vitamin d3 60000iu once a week for six months.

I am in great trouble. I have been ill for 6 months. Headache,heaviness in head, low mood, weak sleeping, weakness in talking, no mood to meet anybody, unable to do my routine work.in treatment. Tips to reduce anxiety and stress 1. Sleep well and regular. Irregular sleep can have some serious consequences. It affects both our physical health and also contributes to anxiety and stress. Anxiety as such also leads to disruptions in sleep. When feeling anxious, always try to get a full 7 to 9 hours of uninterrupted sleep and it can work wonders to improve your condition. 2. Always keep smiling. Take a quick break in between your hectic work to get some laughs with your friends. Laughter can reduce depression and anxiety and has proven benefits. 3. Tidy up your living space or workspace. Keep your things clean and clutter-free. That helps us think clear and thus reducing levels of anxiety. 4. Say thank you often. Expressing your thanks for something helps reduce anxiety. 5. Eat smart. Eating more of foods which are rich in vitamin b and omega-3 fatty acids and also healthy whole grain carbs. Vitamin b contributes to good mental health. While omega 3 fatty acids help with both depression and anxiety. Whole grain foods boost serotonin and helps us remain poised. Eating high-sugar content food and processed foods can increase levels of anxiety. 6. Learn to breathe well and relax. Short, shallow breaths arise when you are tensed. When something weighs heavily on your mind, or you believe something terrible is most definitely going to occur, commit to only creating that worry for 20 minutes. Think of all the possible outcomes of the scenario, figure out some game plans, and then quit thinking about it after 20 minutes go by. Have a friend call after the allotted time has passed to avoid the temptation of going over the time limit. Or schedule some of that playtime right afterward. 10. Plan for the future but do not worry about it. Make time tables and to-do lists so that you will not be worried about finishing stuff and so that you can increase your productivity. 11. Be positive. When you feel anxious, train your mind to think and feel positive and give reinforcement to yourself that you can handle any situation. This will significantly reduce your stress and anxiety symptoms. 12. Smell relaxing stuff. Go out to your garden. Smell a fresh rose. Take a deep breathe and allow the relaxation to course through your whole body. You can also use relaxing aroma therapy and use it indoors. 13. Go out and spend time with your friends and family. Spend time with your pets social support reduces anxiety and stress to such a great extent that it is almost always bearable. So next time you get on your nerves, go out with your friends, chat with them, watch a movie, spend some time watching the waves in the beach with your partner, talk to your siblings. If your problems are not solved by this, please consult in private for prescription medication.

Men rarely have a perfectly straight penis. Some bend left, right, up or down. And some point in the direction of left, right, up or down. As long as the bend isn't so severe as to keep you from having sex, or to have sex the way you and your partner want to, it's probably just a normal bend. That said, if it gets in the way of your sex life or if the bend developed after some sort of trauma (like getting kicked or having a ball slam into your genitals during sports or after a sex injury), you might want to speak with a urologist. Some severe bends can be treated with injections or other available treatments. But again, most of the time a slight bend is nothing to worry about or have treated. take tulasi, dried ginger powder and mulethi powders, 10 gms each. mix them and make a paste. Add this paste to 1 glass of water and boil it in a low wave untill it gets to half. Filter the contents in the cup and add 1/2 tsf of honey. Drink this freshly prepared liquid 2 to 3 times a day. Avoid dairy products, cold water in your diet. Continue the regime for a week. good luck

Take 11 guava leaves, 11 black pepper, 1 cup milk and one cup water. Put all of them in pot and boil it well, when it reduced to one cup, drink in empty stomach. Take this daily for at least six months or a year. Boil cumin seeds in water and inhale the steam. It helps dilate the bronchial passage. Take 5 gm of ginger, black pepper, cardamom, clove, cinnamon, turmeric and 30 gm of sugar. Grind the mix to a powder. Take half to one teaspoonful and mix it nicely with honey. Take it twice a daily.
