Green Tea/ Coffee / Honey Lemon /Aloe Vera etc. These are all general health tonics. But have NO effect on weight. There is no system in the body by which any of such medicines/concoctions can travel inside the body and burn fat. Body fat is accumulation of excess food a person has consumed. Such excess fat can only be burnt by Intensive exercise. Just like the petrol in a car can only be consumed if the car moves. Therefore I would recommend that avoid spending money/time over such Magical Weight reduction stuff. Because none of it works. Healthy diet and daily exercise is the only way out.  If excess food is the problem. Then reduction of food is the solution.

Hello, I am 23 years old, Recently from past 5 days I have pain in my Sharp Right Abdomen (not stomach) only for 1st 2-3 minutes when I start Walking in the morning 6: 00 am for exactly 45 minutes/day (4.0 km). I drink exactly 500 ml of water 30 mins prior of walking, after 45 min of walk 500 ml again and then I have my break fast after 45 min *Please Advise me with this* I am afraid what if it is appendix or something. Here is my story --> I was 81 kg back then and now I am 77. 7 kg. My belly fat is a bit high when compared to my rest of the body, my height is 5'10' its been only 25 days that I have started Walking, since I got inspired by *Lybrate*. I have maintained a balanced diet, Now Every day I start with Quaker Oatmeal (100% Whole grain), 4 bananas (4 inch) as morning snack, Boiled rice for lunch and dinner. Avoided meat, sweet, junk etc. All of this only Because I wanted to lose weight and maintain a healthy body. If any of the Experts could help me? Please. Sory for the bad English.

Hi lybrate-user, You wanna be very accurate about it. You are going great with that weight loss. Nice. Coming to your problem, one can try solving it but the amount of information is not enough. Right upper abdomen pain usually involved liver/ gall bladder. If its more towards the back then it can be kidney involvement. Right lower abdomen pain can be terminal part of small intestine, appendix or urinary tube (ureter). Need to know of any fever/ nausea/ vomiting/ urinary complaint/ diarrhea. I don't want to confuse you here, but more information will be helpful to come to a conclusion. Take care.

Probably you have fibroadenoma of breast which is a benign breast tumor. However cosult with a general surgeon for definite diagnosis and management.

You can increase your height by following these simple steps: 1) Exercise- exercising can significantly improve your height as it triggers growth hormone. Basic exercising include hanging, stretching, yoga, push ups and others 2) increase your intake of milk and milk products, green leafy vegetable, more of fibres, fresh fruits 3) go out in sun to get natural vitamin D 3 which promotes growth 4) sleeping for about 8 hours a day induces growth hormone 5) avoid growth inhibitors like drinking alcohol, smoking etc.

I am suffering from severe dandruff since past 10 years. I am 29 years male living in Delhi. I consulted a dermatologist 4 yes back and he prescribed noskurf lotion to be applied overnight and to be washed with protar-k shampoo in the morning. Situation improved then but was back within 2 months. I don't understand whether it is just dandruff or seborrheic dermatitis. I have also been losing hair and lost almost 50% of my hair in last 5 years. Please suggest a treatment for this irritating dandruff and increasing hairfall.

Hello. Your scalp has to be examined to know whether it is dandruff or seborrheic dermatitis. Dandruff can come back again and again. Use anti dandruff shampoos to keep it under check. Hair fall in males can be genetic and due to androgens. Certain lotions can control it. Visit a dermatologist for your recurring dandruff and hair loss.

Weight gain is muscle gain and not fat gain. In your condition your energy requirement is very high so whatever you eat is used as a source of energy and you do not make muscle. To gain muscles you will have to eat at least 6 meals (high calorie) in a day at a regular interval with a proper ratio of proteins and carbohydrates. Proteins will help you gain body mass while carbohydrates will help you give energy. Protein foods are eggs, fish, chicken, milk and milk products, meat and dals. Carbohydrate foods are roti and rice, potatoes, sweet potatoes. You have to eat vegetables and fuits and use healthy and good fats for cooking like ghee, cold pressed mustrad or til oil. You will also have to do some weight training exercise to help you build mass into the body. Also drink enough water to keep you hydrated. If you want to go to the gym in the morning then before that have a small meal like a fruit n nuts and get back home n do your breakfast. It is not advisable to workout after dinner as you need to give at least 1 to 1 and half hour of gap between food n exercise. Best thing to do is eat 1 fruit and nuts before exercise and after that do your dinner.

(1.). Shivakshar Pachan tabs. 2+2+2. (2.). Saptamrut Yog tabs. 2+2 (3.). Curd made from Buffalo milk. Can Take before midday. (4.).Payas made from White Rice.& Goat milk should be take 12+ days whole time. Do Bhasmak ROG chikitsa.
