Dear Lybrateuser, -In PSVT there is increase in heart rate due to the various defects in the electrical conduction mechanism of the heart -many patients do not require any active treatment, person with frequent attacks should consult a cardiologist, medication may be prescribed & if medication fails then a procedure called radiofrequency catheter ablation can be done to restore the normal heart rhythm.

Causes of nasal bleeding 1. Nasal trauma (injury, exposure to warm/dry air for prolonged period, 2. Sinusitis, allergic rhinitis, dns, polyp/tumour in nose/sinus, nose picking 3. Foreign body nose, vigorous nose blowing, high bp 4. Plaelet disorder, leukemia, decongestant nasal spray, 5. Medicine like aspirin/nsaid 6. Consult ent specialist to exclude nasal causes of bleeding and for necessary advice and treatment treatment 1. Remain calm, sit up straight and lean your head slightly forward 2. Pinch your both nostrils shut with thumb and index finger and breathe through mouth for 5-10 minutes. 3. Apply ice wrapped in a cloth to your nose and cheek 4. Don't blow your nose 5. If bleeding recurs, blow out forcefully to clear nose of blood clot and pinch nostril again 6. Spray nostril with decongestant spray like otrivin 7. Consult ent specialist for further advice and treatment.

Taking food at proper times will keep your hair and skin oin healthy condition. Use sunscreen when you go to play cricket. Cosmelite cream is good. Eat lots of vegetables n salads n fruits. Sleep for 6-7 hours.

1. Avoid intake of pitta-aggravating foods like hot, penetrating, or excessively salty and spicy foods, as well as chilies, garlic, pickles, fermented and preserved foods. 2. Increase intake of foods that are sweet and have a cooling effect on the body, like milk, butter, purified butter, almonds, raisins, black gram, licorice and asparagus. 3. Take 2 tab tenex forte ,,,1tsf dhatupaushtik churna twice a day with milk for 1month. 4. Do sarvangasna, Kandasana , Gomukhasna, vajrasana, mandukasana 10 min daily each pose early morning.

Tobacco consumption, either through smoke or other edible forms, is always harmful. The desire to quit is a good starting point. The best way to quit is to know more about the ill-effects of tobacco. The knowledge is astounding and scary. That information itself should help you to want to quit. The tobacco tar in cigarette smoke lines your lungs with huge patches that make that portion dysfunctional. Your oxygen carrying capacity is jeopardized, and breathing is impinged. The nicotine in tobacco smoke stimulates the heart beat to raise the blood pressure in no time at all. There are more than 4000 harmful chemicals in cigarette smoke!!! You will need to stop smoking or consuming any tobacco related items with immediate effect. Then you need to identify why you smoke: there is an oral need, the nicotine effect, the psychological effect of covering up some other issue, for style, to impress, etc. You may discover that the reasons may be unimportant at this stage because you have become too addicted and the habit has become compulsive. You should start exercises, gradually increasing it over a period of time. Do deep breathing exercises every time you feel like smoking (try Yoga), and replace the oral urge with some healthy food substitute to satiate the need, for a little while. You may take hard candy or chewing gum. If the urge is too strong, then use nicotine chewing gum or nicotine patches, for a little while until the smoking drive reduces substantially. You may join Smokers Anonymous in your city where the support is really extraordinary for like-minded people who are also in the same situation. Keep yourself occupied or engaged with interesting activities during the times when it is most tempting. Keep the company of non-smokers for some time i.e. at least for the first 21 days. Above all announce it to everyone that you have quit smoking. Here’s a piece of very good advice: even if you accidentally/willfully take a cigarette, it is not the end of the world – you can start the cessation all over again. Don’t be discouraged because it is not too late even now to reverse all the ill-effects of smoking. You must persevere with the best support until you defeat this addiction. Counseling is very useful in the initial stages and when temptations are at their highest.

HAIR Hair fall could b significant or just physiological without any systemic involvement. Firstly, don't stress over it. Meditate. Practice yoga. Relax yourself. Stress vil increase your hairfall. Drink two litres of water. Eat plenty of pulses, meat, fish and milk. Avoid hair cosmetics. Wash hair twice or thrice a week. Shampoo should be done to wash dirt, dust and grime and not for anything else. Don't use dyes, bleaches or straighteners. Massage scalp to improve circulation. After a bath, don't blow dry your hair instead naturally dry hair. If any scalp infection, get it treated. Any allergy should be taken care of. 1.tab biotin daily for 1 month 2.tab fe ( if your fe level is reeduce ) 3.scalp massage with antioxidant oil

Dear lybrate user. I can understand. Chest pain is due to anxiety. You can be health conscious. But you should not think about your heart health always and be apprehensive. This leads to obsession, obsession leads to chest pain, pain leads to anxiety, anxiety leads to acidity and hyperventilation and this leads to chest pain, anxiety etc. These are cyclical and one leads to another. I suggest counselling and cognitive behavior therapy as a cure. Take care.

Having disturbing dreams so frequently, that you so vividly remember is suggestive of a disturbed sleep pattern and distorted sleep architecture. This may occur due to various reasons. You have to do a TFT test and inform me the results .Erectile dysfunction (ED) is a condition in which man has trouble in keeping or getting an erection. It is a common male sexual dysfunction. It becomes more common as you get older but it is not a part of aging. MECHANISM OF ERECTION An erection starts in the brain. Physical and mental stimulation is required for an erection to begin. This stimulation causes nerves in the brain to send chemical messages to nerves which are present in the penis which results in the free flow of blood into the penis. This leads to high pressure in the penis which in turn traps the blood within both corpora cavernosa and then the penis expand. This causes the penis to sustain an erection. When the inflow of blood is stopped, then it opens outflow channels and then penis becomes soft. Then an erection is said to be reversed. CAUSES OF ERECTILE DYSFUNCTION Erection is a complex process which involves hormones, brain, emotions, muscles, nerves and blood vessels. Problem with any one of these can lead to erectile dysfunction. Sometimes stress and mental health can also lead to erectile dysfunction. Combination of Physical and Psychological issues can lead to erectile dysfunction. Some medicines like antidepressants can also cause this and if you are taking any medication you have to discuss with your treating doctor to change or stop medicine if possible PHYSICAL CAUSES OF ED •Heart disease, high blood pressure, High cholesterol. •Parkinson's disease, obesity, alcoholism, atherosclerosis. •Use of tobacco, surgeries that affect the pelvic area or spinal cord. •Treatments for prostate cancer. PSYCHOLOGICAL ISSUES OF ED: Depression, anxiety, stress and other mental health conditions are some of the psychological issues which causes erectile dysfunction. SYMPTOMS OF ERECTILE DYSFUNCTION •Trouble in getting erection •Difficulty in keeping erection •Reduced sexual desire To Prevent ERECTILE DYSFUNCTION By decreasing the chances of developing several diseases like diabetes, heart disease and hypertension, chances of developing erectile dysfunction can be decreased to some extent. By eating healthy diet, erectile dysfunction can be managed. By doing Exercise daily and by avoiding smoking, risk for developing erectile dysfunction can be decreased. If you do not have any diseases it is only your mind that is preventing your erection. So you need to be calm and stop worrying about it and keep on doing normally.

How to gain weight is as difficult as losing weight .Inadequate feeding habits, prolonged meal time gaps. Poor selection of foods increased physical activity without increasing the food intake major reasons for being under weight. Follow it up with a heavy and healthy breakfast. Take moderate lunch and dinner. Add Banana, Milk, Eggs, including yellow yolk, Mango, rice gram, peanut, butter are helpful in gaining weight.
