Foods that provide vitamin D include: Fatty fish, like tuna, mackerel, and salmon. Foods fortified with vitamin D, like some dairy products, orange juice, soy milk, and cereals. Beef liver.

Sir, is there any chance of pregnancy if any girl use to make sex during her second day of period and take an I pill during 23 hours?

One can not get pregnant if have sex during periods. It is just that there is chance of infection during periods. There is no need to take I pill if you have Sex up to 8-10 days of your periods, depending on your cycle length. To confirm safe days discuss with your doctor. If you take I pill during these days cycles will become irregular and as the lining of endometrium is very thin already there will be lot of confusion. But one person should be very sure that the bleeding is normal periods and not some other cause of period.

I read somewhere it was written that" patient taking anti - tb medicine should take high dose of i-pill to protect her pregnancy" Because drugs in the medicine can minimize it's effect. Is it true? If yes then how much tablet at once will be preferable?

Hello, In case of ipill it is already a high dosed progesterone and no extra dosage is required even in cases of tuberculosis treatment.

Hello, if you are experiencing amenorrhoea, then please get a urine pregnancy test done first to rule out pregnancy.

Bowel motility is reduced in pregnancy. Please take plenty of fluids and fiber in diet to avoid constipation.

Swelling can be due to either less haemoglobin in your circulation, kidney issues, mumps infection, insect bite etc. It needs to be seen to sussest any remedy.

Hi, unless you exercise and reduce weight it is difficult to regularise your period.It is not only for your periods but for your overall health.Even if you take hormones to regularise your period ultimately it will work only when you start exercising.Just aim for 5% of your weight reduction say 3 kg in 3 months by diet and exercise.You will feel fantastic improvement.

Why are your gaining weight despite working out?

Many people have a common workout woe that while they are working out for hours they are not losing weight. The reason on a broad sense is simply that you are undoing your workout. Let me explain the reasons here.

1. Calorie overload/dieting - A general opinion amongst a lot of people is that since they are working out, they can binge on their favourite foods. Another group of people are those who workout with utmost sincerity but do not eat post workout. Both are equally harmful and aide fat generation.
2. Not staying hydrated - While working out, our bodies lose a lot of water. Often, we confuse the feeling of being thirsty as being hungry. So after a workout, when one might actually be hungry, one ends up filling the stomach with food. Stay hydrated at all times, especially before and after workout.
3. Drinking alcohol - A lot of people workout during the day and drink in the evening. This is a strict no-no and if not adhered to, you will end up gaining more weight than losing. Usually it is recommended staying completely off alcohol while trying to lose weight because drinks have calories and high sugar content. If abstaining is difficult, restrict the quantity.
4. Not working out enough - Human mind can be fooled very easily into believing what is not. We often believe that we our workout is enough and we don’t need to increase the number of counts, level of difficulty etc. It is good to give yourself a pat in the back, but never too soon.
5. Rewarding yourself - Rewarding yourself after losing every kilo is a very bad idea. Set a big goal and reward yourself only once achieved.
6. Drinking energy drinks - Advertisements promote energy drinks as a must for people who are working out. What they conveniently hide is the fact that these drinks are full of sugar.
7. Not eating enough vegetables - Many people turn to protein shakes and unhealthy foods instead of eating regular home-cooked vegetables which are packed with nutrients.

WINTER DIET (Hemanta ritucharya) TO REMAIN FIT & DISEASE FREE -AS PER AYURVEDA

Long nights, short days, sparkling snow flakes and people dressed in warm clothes are the images evoked for the word winter. The winter season is marked as Hemanta ritu in ayurveda. Hemanta ritu starts from mid November and ends in mid January. This falls in southern solastice which is called as visarga kala or dakshinayana in ayurveda.

Winter causes health problems when adequate precautions and safety measures are not taken. But winters can be enjoyed to full extent when we alter our diet and lifestyles a little as nature desires. As we are part of nature these changes help us to face the seasonal changes without much serious health problems.Winter is actually the best season to improve immunity. It's not a weakening season if you know how to strengthen immunity.

Winter is the season when nature is ready to nurture us. Due to the digestive level being very high, people feel hungrier, and can actually digest food better in winter, thus nourishing their bodies more.

In Ayurvedic terms, immunity is connected with the digestion. When digestion is strong and appetite is good, then immunity is strengthened.

For this reason, it's more important that people eat immunity-boosting foods in winter, and that they follow the Ayurvedic daily routine. This should be the regimen in winter, to nourish the mind and body by getting more rest and eating well. Other seasons are better for purifying, but winter is the time to build up and nourish all systems--the hair, the nails, and the skin. It's also the best season for taking Rasayanas and herbal products, because the high level of digestion helps people to assimilate them better.

Hi get your semen analysis done from a reputed lab. There should be abstinence for min 3 days snd max 5days. If it is normal you can have daily intercourse from 9th day of your wife's periods for 12 days. It will be during ovulation if her periods are regular of 28 to 30 days interval. No harm in having sex daily. But avoid during menses. Hope you are convinced. Regards.

As you r just 14 years of age, your hormonal secretion is not yet established yet, causing hormonal imbalance and nipple pain. You can take pain killer if pain is severe other wise it will go without any treatment.
