Healthy living is the key to a happy life, there are plenty of ways to lead a healthy life. An effective one is to include kidney beans as a part of your diet because as per Ayurveda, legumes should be part of almost every meal of the day as they are a rich source of protein. Kidney beans as you must be aware is a type of bean that gets its name from its shape, which is like a kidney. These are readily found throughout the year both in dry as well as in canned form.

What health benefits do they offer?
With the help of the kidney beans, you can prepare many delicious dishes which you can enjoy and at the same time enjoy the health benefits as well. Kidney beans offer a lot of health benefits which are being discussed below.

  1. Excellent source of fiber: Kidney beans are an excellent source of both soluble and insoluble fiber. Most importantly, the fiber present in the kidney beans helps in the lowering the level of cholesterol in the blood. Health Tips For Control Of Hair Fall Hair fall is experienced by most individuals in their lifetime. Most of the time hair fall goe unnoticed if the density of hair is good. Patients experience the hair fall though they are taking good diet and infact water intake is normal and even if they do not have any significant systemic disease. 1.Don't go for hair straightening and vigrous heat treatments if you are having hair fall. Its a myth that straightening would prevent hair fall. 2.Cover your hair when you are taking steam, sauana,or hot water bath 3.Treat your hair as a baby and pamper them. Do not use harsh shampoos and soap instead use a mild medicated shampoo and conditioner and infact wash your hair minimum twice in a week 4. Do not comb the hair when they are wet, let them dry a bit before you comb 5. You can oil the hair 1 hr. Before shampooing or washing, no neec to apply oil overnight. 6.Males And females have different pattern of hair loss and needs seperate consideration and treatment. 7. Wash your hair preferrably with luke warm water, avoid using hard water or underground water for washing them. 8.Hair Fall May expose some areas if your scalp, try to change combing pattern and do not tie your hair very tight. 9. Anti hair fall shampoos and serums may be applied after consultation with the dermatologist 10. With age hair starts thinning, this happens because the body capacity to absorb nutrients decrease. The hair needs 22 amino acids to grow. Due to lack of amino acids from the diet the hair appears thin. However you can prevent the hair fall due to aging. You need to have soya beans, lean meat, dairy products, fish, eggs and nuts. You can also have fish oil tablets or supplements which is rich in Omega 3 Fatty Acids. Red Grape Seeds& Sprouts also are good along with Pappaya and Carrots 11. Rule out thyroid disorders, Anaemia and other major systemic issues by consulting a good dermatologist 12. Avoid high fat and high sugar diet, like gym anabolic steroids .13. Do not do crash dieting. Hair fall or loss is a multifactorial problem where hereditary along with environmental factors and diet play an important role. Iron deficiency along with essential things like biotin, vitamin A along with other nutrients have a major role to play. Serums,tablets along with specified shampoos and conditioners can also help. Most of the time, this loss is progressive and may take 4-6 months to respond to treatment. Sooner the treatment is started better are the results. Though it's important to understand that some alopecia problems may not respond to best of the treatment modalities .So it's important to consult a good dermatologist on time .Mesotherapy and Prp are promising therapies which can be tried. All these treatment definitely need maintenance sessions along with local lotions application under the supervision of dermatologist. Patients need multiple sessions for better outcome along with medical analysis .One can take biotin tablets along with Vitamin A rich diet and lots of red wine grapes with seeds. Prp results may vary from patients to patients and from Doctor to doctor depending upon how the prp is made. Ideally if you are able to concentrate prp to a level of 4-5 times the blood level of platelets, the expected results are good in most of the cases if done by an experienced dermatologist. Hello you need not worry. You need to understand the concept of weight loss. It's a gradual process that requires cut down in calories under the guidance of a dietitian and regular exercise. Don't skip breakfast. Sleep for 7-9 hours per night. Avoid fried foods, sweets, carbonated drinks and processed foods. Include whole grains, sprouts, seasonal fruits and vegetables. Take 3 main meals and 2 side meals. Take flaxseed powder 1 tsp with lukewarm water on empty stomach. Take green tea 3-4 cups a day. Drink plenty of water. Thank you.

Hye, Thanks for the query. Firstly understand that weight gain is very dependent on genetics and metabolism along with your daily diet and exercise routine. It is important to know that just eating just two heavy meals a day will not help. Weight gain is all about taking more calories than you burn. Eating the right foods at the right time is very important. There is no one food that helps weight gain. Eat meals at frequent intervals. You need to eat at least 6 main and mid meals a day. Eat a mid meal between each main meal. Avoid junk foods. Include dairy, eggs, nuts, fruits, dry fruits, starchy vegetables, rice, bread, whole grain cereals, smoothies, masala milk, ghee, cream in your meals. Just eating sugary, sweet foods is not good. Try to have healthy deserts like kheer, chikki or lassi. Avoid alcohol and smoking. Exercise at least thrice a week. It helps development of muscle mass and improves appetite. Even if you were to take just medicines or supplements they will not work in isolation. You need to have a calorie and nutrient dense meal and good exercise routine, it's crucial.

Never pick or pop pimples with your fingers, as it can lead to infection and scarring. A dietary therapy with the right medications for pimples can also help a lot. Do exercises like swimming, skipping, yoga, push ups, sit ups, squats etc. Use lukewarm water with lemon juice on an empty stomach in the morning. Eat small amount of food. Avoid fast foods, junk foods, processed foods. No sugar, sweetened juice including fruit juice, soft drinks, tea/coffee with sugar etc. Take water before meals bur not during meals. Eat more whole fruits, water dense vegetables, take fish, egg white, cottage cheese etc. Use healthy fat like olive, fish oil, refined vegetable oil in small amount. Avoid smoking, alcohol. Stay busy with works not with eating foods.

Hi. It's normal to loose up to 100 hair per day, and in most people, those hairs grow back. But many men -- and some women -- lose hair as they grow older. You can also lose your hair if you have certain diseases, such as thyroid problems, diabetes, or lupus. If you take certain medicines or have chemotherapy for cancer, you may also lose your hair. Other causes are stress, a low protein diet, a family history, use of bore water, or nutritional deficiencies. Need to rule out any causative factor or underlying medical condition. Management: Take diet rich in protein like non-veg., eggs (it's loaded with essential nutrients such as proteins, Vitamin B12, iron, zinc and Omega 6 fatty acids in large amounts and biotin) , different pulses & legumes, sprouts, nuts (sp. walnuts and almonds); iron-rich food like green vegetables, dates, carrots, prunes, green peas; also oats, shrimp, take flaxseeds, sunflower seeds, sesame seeds, green tea, soyabean, fruits, salads, etc. Take low-fat dairy products (they also contain whey and casein, two high-quality protein sources) Take proper 6-9hrs of sound sleep. Give up the habit of smoking and excessive alcohol intake. Avoid junk food and any kind of beverages (tea, coffee, aerated drinks, cold drinks, etc.) Avoid canned/ tinned food or food that contains preservatives (eat fresh ones). Avoid use of hard water to wash the head rather use boiled water for head wash. Avoid use of harsh hair colour, hair treatment like rebonding, straightening, perming, etc. Avoid vigorous exercises or any supplements provided by the gym! Cover your head with scarf or cap while stepping outside. Use Rose wood/ any wooden hair comb to brush your hair. Regular exercising is also one of the important point, but should be done under some good, qualified yoga teacher or instructor for proper guidance; it also releases the stress/ tension in the mind and the body and keeps you FIT and YOUNG!! Medication: Take homoeopathic Rx - Schwabe's Wiesbaden 200 & Alfalfa Tonic twice a day for 1 month and revert. Also, use Schwabe's Arnica shampoo and Hair Growth oil regularly as per the condition of your scalp (minimum 3 times a week). After shampooing, use Bakson's Arnica Hair conditioner as well after every head wash. Apart from this, take Follihair tablets (multivitamin) - 1 tab. daily once for 1 month. Investigations advised: Get your blood tested for (empty stomach) - CBC, S. Iron, S. Folic acid, S. Ferritin, S. Calcium, S. Vitamin D3, S. Vitamin B12. If there is any family history of Thyroid dysfunction, get Thyroid function test done as well.

My sister is 40 years old. She is suffering from breast lump .she is taking homeopathic medicine for it. Given her present description of symptoms, she may require, firstly, a drainage of the pus and treatment with suitable antibiotics to cure bacterial infection, if any. Hello, The food what and how you eat, makes the difference! For increasing your weight, concentrate on the below points ( if you don’t have any medical condition) which helps in gaining weight in a right way without harming your body. - Consume more healthy fats. Foods containing healthy fats are full of nutrients and also high in calories, making them a great option for weight gain. Foods containing plant fats should be your first option - this includes items such as nuts, seeds, peanut butter, avocados and olive oil. Foods containing healthy animals fats include lean meats and full fat dairy products - although if you have high cholesterol, you should probably stick to low-fat options. -Eat more protein. Good sources of protein include lean meat, fish and poultry, in addition to eggs, whole grains, dairy products and legumes. -Drink more calories. Try drinking a large glass of orange juice in the mornings (along with your normal breakfast). Drink a glass or two of full-cream milk throughout the day.Protein shakes will help you to gain muscle mass, particularly if you're working out. -Have 6 small and frequent meals in a day. -Gain muscle mass. It's a good idea to continue to exercise while you attempt to gain weight the healthy way. Strength training includes working with weights and performing exercises such as squats, deadlifts, bench presses, bicep curls, crunches, chin-ups and leg curls.
