Your father is most probably suffering from oa of knee. Knee surgery-total knee replacement (tkr) is quite safe & gives uniformly good results, in our hands. We have well equipped centers in delhi. Do ask for detailed treatment plan. Surgery should be done when patient is still active & will be able to take benefit of surgery. Do not ignore. It could be beginning of a serious problem. Kindly show me x rays before a final decision can be taken. You will be thoroughly investigated before surgery is under taken. Risk in surgery is less than the risk in crossing road.

Hello, The following are the instructions for him: It's good to reduce weight at right time as many problems are directly related to overweight! Go through the following guidelines and implement them in your routine: Management: 1: Drink plenty of water (at least 2-3 l/d) or other calorie-free beverages. 2: Be choosy about nighttime snacks. 3: Enjoy your favorite foods. 4: Have 6 meals per day - 3 main courses and 3 snack meals (snack meals should be healthy). 5: Do regular exercises daily (start with light and later may be little vigorous) . Exercise decreases the stress hormone in your body, burns calories and also increases the blood circulation. Preferably brisk walking, swimming, cycling, skipping. 6: Eat seasonal fruits. Fruit helps to satisfy your sweet tooth thanks to its natural sugars, while fresh vegetables help you fill up more quickly. Fruits and vegetables contain fiber to help you feel full quickly. 7: Eat more whole grains and cut simple carbs. Whole wheat bread, oatmeal, whole wheat pasta, sweet potato, and brown rice are all excellent sources of energy and sources of nutrition. 8: Choose lean proteins instead of fatty ones. 9: Cut the salt from your diet. Eating more sodium causes your body to retain water, which can cause you to feel bloated and gain more weight. 10: Don't skip meals.When you skip meals, your body stops breaking down fat and starts breaking down muscle tissue. Muscle tissue burns more calories at rest than other tissues, so you're actually working against your goals 11: Eat at home. Going out to eat makes it too easy to cheat. Food sold at restaurants is commonly much higher in fat, sodium, and other weight-loss killers. 12: Give yourself a treat now and then. If you're attending a party or going out for a special occasion, allow yourself an indulgence. Just make sure that these indulgences don't become daily habits. 13: Go for a health walk. Gear up yourself daily for a health walk which not only shed off your extra calorie, but also reduces the stress levels. 14: Take small frequent breaks for a quick walk in between as sitting for long hours together encourages the accumulation of fat in the body! Medication: Start taking Schwabe's Phytolacca Berry tablets/ thrice daily 1/2 an hr before the meals for 1 month. Thereafter revert me back for further guidance. All the best!

Hi lybrate-user, anxiety is often an overwhelming condition, and when the mind is overwhelmed it can do some very unusual things. One of these is known as depersonalization, which is a symptom of anxiety that often fuels more anxiety and more depersonalization. Depersonalization is when your mind feels divorced from your own sense of self. It's when you are essentially overly self-aware to the point of feeling as though you're not in your own body. It's a consciousness that makes it feel like you're floating outside of yourself and that your actions are not your own. Depersonalization is a common symptom of panic disorder, and may occur with other anxiety disorders as well. The most likely reason that depersonalization occurs is as a coping mechanism for your brain. Your brain can get extremely stressed by your emotions. It's not just your thoughts and symptoms - it's the physical brain itself. The link between your consciousness and your thoughts is physical and mental. So most likely, the brain creates depersonalization disorder as a way of experiencing less stress. It's likely that it's shutting down certain parts of the brain and disconnecting yourself from the emotions so that it doesn't experience as much tension, despite the fact that depersonalization often creates its own anxiety. Another possible cause is simply because anxiety can lead to hyperawareness. Generally this occurs with physical issues. For example, some people feel they have a swollen tongue during an anxiety attack, but the tongue isn't actually swollen. Instead, the mind has over-focused on the feelings of the tongue, causing it to start to feel unnatural and" larger. It's possible that a similar issue is happening with consciousness, where the mind focuses so much on the way you process information that it becomes over-processed and starts to feel unreal. Finally, during anxiety attacks, neurotransmitters are often firing at a rapid rate. It's possible that these neurotransmitters are activating or de-activating parts of your mind that create this dissociative state. Ince depersonalization occurs as a result of intense anxiety, the best thing you can do is try to decrease the intensity and keep yourself from experiencing further anxiety. Keep the following in mind: be okay with depersonalization depersonalization can be very frightening, but it's not dangerous. If you start to feel it occurring, don't try to fight it. Just wait it out. Fighting it won't solve anything, and may even make your anxiety worse. You can remind yourself that depersonalization may be a scary event, but it has no short or long term consequences once it's over. Breathe efficiently depersonalization occurs at the height of anxiety attacks, and one of the issues that tends to make anxiety attacks severe is hyperventilation, which reduces blood flow to the brain and causes symptoms that may result in intense stress. Slow down your breathing dramatically. Breathe in for 5 seconds, hold for 2, breathe out for 7. Any time you feel like a panic attack may be coming, breathe slower to prevent some of the worst symptoms. Distractions for reality those with depersonalization are usually aware they're in a dreamlike state. They tend to keep everything to themselves, resulting in them withdrawing into more and more of an over-conscious and dreamlike state. Give someone a call or talk to those around you. It can be hard to admit that you have this anxiety/depersonalization problem, but the problem does not get any easier if you try to keep everything to yourself and stay inside of your own head. Go jogging jogging is a natural cure for anxiety, and also a wake up call to reality. Running can be hard when you have anxiety since rapid heartbeat tends to lead to further panic attacks, so walking is an acceptable but less effective alternative. Walking and jogging involve so many different senses that it's hard for your mind to zone out from reality. Depersonalization is not dangerous, so the key is to learn ways to reduce the extent of your panic attacks and your anxiety. No matter what, you'll still need to address your overall anxiety levels so that you decrease the likelihood of experiencing depersonalization. Consult a psychologist for its management.

For pain take tablet paracetamol 650 mg and Take a shower at bedtime for a peaceful sleep and Take tablet folvite 5mg once a day and tablet vitaminD (60000iu) once a week for six months

You better to do friendliness with that girl. Friendliness get more satisfaction freedom and enjoyment it is good for your mental status. In love everything is stress. Every movement is stress. It may develop your personal problems. In friendliness you have chance to enjoy so many corners of life. You can directly ask any matter and enjoy with them. I think love is waste for your personality. You have no capacity to control your stress then do not go love. Better to enjoy friendliness. Nothing you will get in love it is waste of time. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Do hot fomantation. Paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck, back & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. You will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, contact me again. Do not ignore. It could be beginning of a serious problem.

One should avoid eating certain food and edible items completely to control falling of hair. Consuming Nicotine, Alcohol, Caffeine and Sugar can result in lowering of nutrient level your body drastically. Follow health advises given below: Measure your temperature and tell me reading 1. Avoid exertion 2. Take tablet paracetamol 500 mg after food (If No Drug Allergy) as and when required for fever more than 99 f (maximum 3 tablets with gap of 8 hr can be taken in a day) for 3 days 3. Lot of fluids to be taken 4. Take proper diet homemade food like moong dal dalia, chapati etc. 4. Avoid wearing synthetic and tight cloths. Get CBC checked and review with reports consult physician/me for further management and let me know what medicines you were taking and also tell me if you are having other symptoms like cough/ throat pain/ burning urine/ stomach pain so that we can confirm cause of fever.

First you should follow low calories food for weight loss. * in morning, take 1-2 chapattis with a bowl of cooked green vegetables. You can take a glass of lemon water with it *in lunch you can take a bowl of raw vegetables like carrot, radish, tomatoes, turnip or beetroot. *in evening, you can take a cup of green tea only with some pieces of friuts like apple, pineapple, pear. Avoid taking banana or mango. *in dinner, you can take vegetable soup or a bowl of cooked vegetables. But do not take potato, sweet potatoes. * you can take a cup skimmed milk 4 times a week only during day time. * work out for atleast 1 hour in morning, you can try skipping for 15 minutes with a walk of 30 minutes and 5-10 minutes running. Follow these exercises in the morning - * lie down on flat surface, raise your legs without bending your knees, do it for 3-5 times daily * do not eat fastfoods and soft drinks, as they have high calories and the calories deposit in body in the form of weight if not utilised. * you can take medohar guggalu 1 tablet daily for quick weight loss but only under the guidance of ayurveda expert.

You do not loose temper without reason. There is something at the back of your mind that has really hurt you badly. You may or may not be conscious of it. When you take sittings with a psychologist, together you will be able to go to the root cause of your eruptions. By working on the issues, you will be able to ge rid of the anger.

If you are suffering from fry skin, then do not bathe with hot water. Also use wheat germ oil on skin.

For increase of height- take protein rich food -eggs, milk products, seeds, pulses, dry fruits, soya milk etc. Whole grains, fruits, vegetables and greens provide carbohydrates, vitamins and minerals. Have vigorous physical exercise to improve absorption of food and blood circulation. Games like basketball, volley ball and stretch exercises like pull ups, cycling will be helpful. Chances are better for the age group up to 20 years. Homoeopathic treatment will be beneficial to you.

TURMERIC MASK , AN AYURVEDIC SKIN EXFOLIANT :

Turmeric is an age old remedy for a wide range of skin problems. Ayurveda recommends turmeric to be used regularly for glowing, blemish free complexion. Turmeric does wonders to the skin as an exfoliant. Apart from removing dead skin and impurities, the turmeric mask also maintains the natural pH balance of the skin and imparts a healthy glow to it.
Any pack we put on the skin for 20 min or so gets absorbed into the blood stream. So what better option than the `yellow gold’, as Indians refer to turmeric to enhance beauty?

Make Your Own Turmeric Skin Exfoliant:

Turmeric 1 tbsp.
2 tbsp. flour (for vata use oatmeal, for pitta use chickpea and kapha use barley flour).
Make it into a paste by adding a little water and massage into face and neck. Rub into skin for 2 min and wash off.
For oily skinned beauties, add in some lavender blossom, coriander powder or few drops of lime.
For dry skin, add in some elderly blossom.
For normal skin, rose powder can be added for that extra glow.
Ideally do this before a shower so that you can deal with the yellow stain the turmeric mask leaves on the skin.
