I am suffering from my shoulder pain from 4 days, because i'm not sleep at night straight, and i'm sleep through my left side shoulder for 8 hours. When I wake up in morning. In my shoulder has a very big pain. So please tell me what I do now.

I have pain inthe middle of hip and back on right side, pain is very saviour if I sleep in straight position and I get up I can't even walk properly I feel like some of that part is dislocating while walking.

Yes, prolonged sitting is the reason. Your back muscles are weak. You will need some medicines and exercises to strengthen your back muscles.

Hi lybrate-user, important is to put right diagnosis after clinical examination & if required investigation and treat it. Intital simple pain can become catastrophic in future, as it could be because of muscle spasm to disc herniation to spine joints problem etc. My advise will be to visit some interventional pain specialist or orthopedician to get it thoroughly checked, treated and hence you can resume your sports activity. Kindly do not tried any medication advised by any other specialist from physician, to physiotherapist etc. Get opinion of specialist afterall it's your body and not of someone else.

I am 35 year old. Suffering from lower back pain in lower spine since 6 months. Consulted three ortho doctors. One said it was dics problem and other teo said it was just muscular pain. Went to physhyotherepist. But no gain. Now finally I have joined yoga classes. Kindly advice.

Backache is the commonest ailment. Rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Any way take ibuprofen 200mg od & sos x 5days caldikind plus (mankind) 1 tab odx10days you will need other supportive medicines also. Take multivitamins & other antioxidants along with. Do back (spine) exercises make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take do ask for detailed treatment plan. Don? t ignore, lest it becomes starting point of a major problem.

What exactly is a spine block injection? Will it work long-term for low back pain due to disc problems?

Kindly show me a photograph & digital X RAYS of affected part. Rule out diabetes & vit.D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. SPRING BEDS, FOLDING BEDS OR THICK MATRESS ARE HARMFUL Use no pillow under the head. DO HOT FOMANTATION. Paracetamol 250mg OD & SOS x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab OD x10. Do neck, back & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. You will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. Do reply back for detailed treatment plan. Do not ignore .It could be beginning of a serious problem.

Yes please get to know where you can find night flowering jasmine tree (harsingar). Or contact some mali. Get 10-20 leaves everyday. Try to get extract (juice) of half of these and your mother should sip it. Rest may be boiled in about a litre of water. When 1/4 remains, let your mother drink warm. Better if you do twice a day. Contact after about a week or ten days to intimate progress. For other supporting medicines in ayurveda, please consult privately.

To build muscles and to remain healthy, you should follow 3 steps in your life 1.BALANCED DIET 2.EARLY MORNING BRISK MORNING WALK for 30 minutes and 10 minutes evening walk after Dinner 3.DRINK 6-8 Glasse of water daily. As 60% of our body is made of water, it acts as a carrier of essential nutrients inside our body. Loosing as little as 5% of body's weight as water can cause headache, fatigue and lower your muscle strength. To stay healthy, an adult should drink at least 8 glasses of water everyday. Balanced Diet= 60% Carbohydrates + 20% Fats + 20% Proteins 1. Carbohydrates: Our main source of energy. Stored in liver and muscles. Carbohydrates are used the most by our body duringexercise. Hence, it is important for people who exercise regularly to consume a diet rich in carbohydrates. (a) Instant/rapid carbohydrates energy sources: Banana, Milk, Sweets, Sugarcane juice. (b) Slow carbohydrates energy sources: Beans, Bread, Cereals, Potato, Pulses, Rice. 2. Proteins: Essential for growth, repair of muscle, skin, hair and body tissues. Protein deficiency leads to low immunity, hairfall, feeling of tiredness. Proteins are not stored in our body as any excess protein is converted to energy or fat. Hence, a person requires protein intake every day. When the body does not get enough carbohydrates to fuel itself, it falls back on protein bank. That is why people who follow starvation diets or go on fasting lose muscle tissue. (a) Major protein sources: Egg white(white portion), Milk, Soybeans/Soymilk, Fish, Cheese, Tofu. (b) Other protein sources: Beans with wheat, Nuts, Curd, Yogurt (Dahi). 3. Fats: Required and healthy when taken in small amounts. Excess fat leads to weight gain, increase in bad cholesterol (LDL) and heartproblems (a) Major fats sources: Egg yolk (Yellow portion), Avocados, Whole Milk, Butter, Cheese, Nuts. (b) Other fats sources: Corn, Vegetable/Olive oil, Biscuits, Flaxseeds(San Beej). 4. Vitamins and Minerals: Critical for normal functioning of organs and processes within our body. They do not provide energy directly but work behind the scenes to break down food into energy. 5. Fiber: It helps retain water and in making our stools softer to avoid constipation. Intake should be 25 to 35 grams a day. 6. Calories: A measure of how much energy food or drink contains. On an average, a man needs around 2,000 calories a day and a woman 1700 calories a day to maintain his weight and good health. Number varies by person depending upon weight, age and how active the lifestyle is. 7. Guideline: Each day have 3 main meals, 2 snacks, 5 pieces of fruit and at least 1 glass of milk.

You would require a detailed physical examination and thereafter investigations. Cause of knee pain need to be assessed by a rheumatologist. Sciatic pain can radiate to back of thighs and legs. But diagnosis of sciatica also needs to be confirmed by a doctor.

Apply prasarini oil or pranacharya restopain oil on your affected part then give hot fomentation twice a day. Take mahayograj guggul 1-1 tab twice a day. Take maharasnadi kwath 2-2 tsf twice a day. Avoid tea. Coffee. Junk food. Fermented food. Spicy food. Rice. Walk for atleast 30 minutes a day. Do pranayama early morning. Sleep for atleast 7 hrs per day.
