Dear patient, calorie dense food should be incorporated in your diet like dried fruits, potato, sweets, nuts, jam jelly, banana or mango shake, porridge, badam kheer etc. leafy vegetables should be restricted in your diet as they reduce appetite. you should take 3 major meals a day and snacks in between. butter, margarine should be taken. Adequate amount of egg, meat, fish, milk should be taken as it help you for tissue building in your body.try to take 1 boiled egg at every morning. you should eat more food at each meal. Yes it helps. Along with that I suggest you to have 3 -4 spoons of honey after having breakfast, lunch and dinner. I also suggst you to have dryfruits like almonds, cashews. Please do not skip breakfast. Its must to have food at the right time. Wet dates. Whole milk avocado nuts boiled egg rice-which is rich in carbohydrates contains good amount of calories. By following above said diet. You can find considerable change in you weight.

Dear lybrate user, you need to take homoeopathic carbo veg 200, 5 drops, thrice daily, in empty stomach. You can also try homoeopathic liver tonic liv-t (sbl company). Take 20 ml of the aforesaid liver tonic, thrice daily, after meals. Try to drink as much water as you can drink daily. Try to get an uninterrupted sleep of minimum 8 hours.

I have an oily face. And I feel uncomfortable when it gets oily. What shall I apply to make my face dry?

Hello, take natrum mur 200,3 drops morning empty stomach, single dose. Use this home remedy:- Tomatoes are great for oily skin due to their cooling, clarifying and astringent properties. The high vitamin C content in tomatoes is very helpful for acne prone skin Plus, the natural oil-absorbing acids in tomatoes help get rid of excess oil. *Cut a tomato in half and rub it on your skin.Allow the juice to soak into your skin for at least 15 minutes.Rinse your skin with cold water, pat it dry and apply a light oil-free moisturizer. You can also make a face mask by combining three tablespoons of tomato juice with one tablespoon of honey.

You can bath daily twice in a day. Sponging skin with lukewarm water. Taken lots of water 3 or 4 liters per day. Do jogging daily for 20 minutes. Mental stress should be avoided. Use body lotion and avoid harsh weather and excess sun heat and using sunscreen before going outside. Always try to be happy and smile on the face, it helps to glowing your skin.

Hi, my hairline has become thinner over the last year, and my hair keep falling out. How can I make my hair denser?

Start taking black til (Seasam) with a glass of lukewarm milk early morning. avoid pickles, spices, oily, greesy food items. Start avle ka murabba. Also have a high protien rich diet e.g. Pulses, Dry fruits, Black gram, Ground nut etc. also oil ur hair with good herbal oil and wash with herbal shamppoo - avoid shampoos with high acid contents. As far as Ayurveda's therapy is concerned - start with Shirodhara with herbal oil and Nasyam therapy for atleast 15 days. This will greatly help. Do gentle massage with herbal hair oil daily night for 15 minutes. Although some herbal medicines might also help you but after proper history taking. I have pain in my neck mostly in the morning, and as the day passes it causes a pain in back of head. What should I do?

1.Take crocin 500mg one tablet sos after food upto a maximum of 3 tablets daily 2.Apply volini gel twice daily 3.Give warm compress locally 4. Take rest If you have recurrent attack of neck pain a)Take X ray cervical spine to exclude spondylitis and consult orthopedic specialist b)Sometimes It could be due to bad sitting posture while reading or working on computer. Adopt proper sitting posture, put neck rest, use soft pillow while sleeping c) Do physio therapy and neck exercise d)Consult me for further advice

Proper nutrition and plenty of fluids should be given. Fresh fruits including citrus fruits are beneficial. 3-4 day rest period is required for the body to regain strength. Moral support also boosts recovery.

Nowadays people of your age group are frequently complaining of back pain. Most common reason for this pain is vitamin B12 and D3 and calcium deficiency. You should get these tested. Supplements of these vitamins help to reduce the pain. Additionally hot bag and analgesic gels will help. Physiotherapy will be good for you. If the pain still persists you may need to visit an orthopaedic surgeon.

I am asthmatic, what precautions would you recommend in this weather transition from hot and humid to a bit cooler monsoonal weather?

Avoid curd totally. Go for salted buttermilk instead added with a pinch of black pepper. Always prefer warm water to drink after meals never take curd at night. Avoid pickles and very sour items. Do pranayam daily 30 min do cardio work out daily under supervision. Cardio work out helps increase lung capacity. Dry roast haldi powder (without oil) in a vessel till it appears dark yellow. Store it. Take 1 tsp of this daily at night with warm water/warm milk. Always take low fat milk/cow milk for drinking/tea purpose. Avoid exposure to cold weather. Avoid stress by meditating everyday.

I am working employee and I have desk job from last 3 months my weight increases from 55-62 how to control weight.

You should focus on your dietary pattern along with exercise for weight loss. It is important to take small and frequent meals at regular interval of time. I am 13 years old and have been having a lot of pimples what should I use for my skin.
