Kids by the age of 12-15 months should have a wide range of speech sounds in their babbling (like p, b, m, d, or n), begin to imitate and approximate sounds and words modeled by family members, and typically say one or more words (not including" mama" and" dada") spontaneously. You can do speech therapy exercise. For few months. And constitutional homeopathic medicine will give you best result.

Dear, You must be able to understand Concentration, attention span, recollection and distraction. If you are able to watch a movie for two hours continuously, if you are able to play a game for an hour, then you do not have any concentration problems. You can't be attentive towards your studies because you are not interested in it. You are able to watch movie and play game because you are interested in it. Human cannot be attentive towards anything for more than 10 minutes. Then you should study in such a way that your attention is continued and make the subjects are interesting to you. Effective learning techniques should help you. Recollection depends on anxiety, stress and other physical and circumstantial factors. Distractions while studying are plentiful. You should be able to overcome distractions or avoid distractions. Please understand the above. Change your study style and attitude accordingly. Please post a private question to me and I will help you with "effective learning" techniques. Avocados, Beetroots, Blueberries, Broccoli. Celery, Coconut Oil, Dark Chocolate etc are good for improving concentration. Take care.

Hello everyone . I am a student. I am suffering from over thinking. I think all the time. When I study or read news paper for sometime reading goes well but after a while I lose in thinking and I don't know about it that I am thinking something. This has been happening with me for 2-3 years. When I walk or traveling by bus, due to thinking I forget to stop where I want. When I write notes in classes same spelling on same page I write wrong because of thinking. This year I appeared in upsc examination, my preparation is good for examination, just before examination night I didn't sleep because "if I will fail then what will happen" this thinking was in mind and the whole night I didn't sleep, this is not stopped here same things happened before my GATE examination. For avoiding this over thinking I tried meditation but I didn't continued it after 20 -21 days. I am very worried about it. I am not living in present. I think always about future like" what will happen " and past" why this happened or if it is not happened then what will be happened? I want to get rid from this hell.

Hello Lybrate user...What you are suffering from are excessive ruminations and worrying thoughts about future. This is a common problem for today's youngster population like you as the competition level has increased. This decreases a person's efficiency, concentration and outcome from work or studies as in your case. Yoga you have tried but you did not continue, which I suppose was because of not being interesting. I propose to you MINDFULNESS THERAPY as the management plan. It is a very effective way to get ourselves living in the present and increases our efficiency and concentration, while decreases stress also. It will help you to live each and every moment of your life being fully aware. The other thing which you can do is that while you are studying you try to gain a place with full silence, away from all gadgets and social sites. Also try to plan your studies before you start. The plan should be such that you keep less number of hours per day in the beginning and as the days pass through you increase the reading hours. Say for example 2 hours a day for initial 1 week, than 3 hours a day the next week and so on until you reach the optimal time. The ultimate concept is not to make studying a burden by starting with long study hours from beginning, rather keep your interest moving gradually by slowly increasing the duration of study and gaining pace. It happens sometimes that we develop affection and attachment for people of same sex because they are friendly with us and care for us. As a result we don't want to lose them which is very natural. But when this possessiveness becomes out of control and we think too much about being with that person all the time then we feel jealous when that person is with others. Try to see that you can never have complete control over someone else's life. How can you expect that your friend or this girl can always talk to you and not with others. This is practically not possible. All of us meet with so many people each day and we happen to interact with them at varying levels. So if you feel that she should not talk with other guys then you need to change your perception. You think this is some illness. You have provided a label to your feelings of anxiety and sadness as similar to sickness. You are scared from these feelings of affection towards her. You feel insecure and alone when she is with others because you feel you will lose her. But here you need to understand that your insecurity is making you feel that way. We can not possess anyone forever. You also need to understand that what are the reasons for this insecurity. Do you have very few friends? Do you feel shy in making new friends? Are you generally shy and hesitant in interacting with people? Are you in general overpossessive about personal things? If your answer to most of these questions is yes, then you seem to be an introvert and you need to develop proper social skills. Because you do not fully understand your emotions. You should meet a psychologist who can make you understand your feelings better. The more you will understand your emotions better, the more you will be able to regulate them. Right now your feelings towards your friend are uncontrolled and against your wishes. This is making you feel worried about yourself. Calling it an illness would be a big decision and you should first try to understand your feelings properly. Then you will be able to distinguish which emotion is healthy and which is not.

Is there is a way to clean your lungs . For a person smoking . Or a doctor can do it.

The tobacco tar in cigarette smoke lines your lung with huge patches that make that portion dysfunctional. Your oxygen carrying capacity is jeopardized, and breathing is impinged. But don’t be discouraged because it is not too late even now to reverse all the ill-effects of smoking. I don’t know what other organs could be damaged but do go for a thorough medical check up to assess the effects of your abuse. Regarding improving your lungs, do a lot of aerobic exercise breathing through your nostrils only. Then there are a lot of deep breathing exercises in Yoga which you can learn too. Deep breathing cleanses your system and lungs and restores it to good health. Deep breathing uses the 80% of the lungs which are not normally used in normal breathing and even when exerting yourself. The greatest effect is in the lungs because this substance is processed through the respiratory system directly through the lung surface. You should start vigorous exercises, gradually increasing it over a period of time.

You have a problem with fear. Confusion leads to indecisiveness. It is fostered by a lack of understanding of the issue at hand. When your attention is divided with two or more options, you will split your energy with as many choices and therefore have more difficulty choosing the right one. Life is full of risks and you can never be absolutely certain of many things. So, the right thing to do is to use common sense thinking; take a calculated risk; face and accept the outcome of your choice; size does not matter but the decision-making ability and system matters; define yourself according to the experience you have had and as well as those of others, be they experts or friends; take care of your fear by expressing them and reaching out to others; practice decision-making with frivolous matters first and compare it with others' thinking of the same; and the best thing to do to improve understanding, is to rely on authentic, concrete, genuine, complete, and accurate information, which precedes understanding. You could get some information about decision-making skills from an expert management person. In medicine, all your decisions must be accurate and based on full knowledge because people's lives are at stake.

I am smoking everyday , how to stop smoke?

You have certainly made a good decision and you can go about it in the following manner. The habit can be very difficult to halt because of the many conditions attached to smoking. In fact these conditions can exist all through the day unlike other addictions. But your desire to want to stop is the most important factor. It is important to find out about the ill-effects of smoking to have a reason that alarms you about continuing in the habit. The information is really scary. The nicotine in tobacco smoke stimulates the heart beat to raise the blood pressure in no time at all. So you must avoid it like the plague: it is just very bad medicine for you. In fact it is highly toxic too. You will need to stop smoking or consuming any tobacco related items with immediate effect. You should start vigorous exercises, gradually increasing it over a period of time. Do deep breathing exercises every time you feel like smoking (try yoga), and replace the oral urge with some healthy food substitute to satiate the need. You may also take hard candy or chewing gum. If the urge is too strong, then use nicotine chewing gum or nicotine patches, for a little while until the smoking drive reduces substantially. You may also join smokers anonymous in your city where the support is really extraordinary for like-minded people who are also in the same situation. Keep yourself occupied or engaged with interesting activities during the times when it is most tempting. Keep the company of non-smokers for some time i. E. At least for the first 21 days. Above all announce it to everyone that you have quit smoking. Here? s a piece of very good advice: even if you accidentally/willfully take a cigarette, it is not the end of the world? you can start the cessation all over again. You must persevere with the best support until you defeat this addiction. Counseling is very useful in the initial stages and when temptations are at their highest. All the damage you incurred earlier because of the smoking can be reverted back to normal in quick time.

Dear Yash, Stress is simply a reaction to a stimulus that disturbs our physical or mental equilibrium. In other words, it's an omnipresent part of life. A stressful event can trigger the “fight-or-flight” response, causing hormones such as adrenaline and cortisol to surge through the body. A little bit of stress, known as “acute stress,” can be exciting—it keeps us active and alert. But long-term, or “chronic stress,” can have detrimental effects on health. You may not be able to control the stressors in your world, but you can alter your reaction to them. I need to know, what are the causes with which you are stressed? Once you know the reason, you will be able to adjust with it with some psycho therapy methods. Please let me know the details. Take care.

It is natural to feel low and miss the person you have lost. However if it is interfering with your sleep, studies or general well being, or if you feel suicidal, you need to consult a psychiatrist. It is common to feel low, cry, feel like you are alone, or lose your self confidence. Usually time is the best healer. However if things are too difficult to handle you should talk to a psychiatrist or counselor. Confide in someone close to you, who will support you in this difficult time. Don't cut off from friends or family, even if you feel like you want to be alone.

Hello doctor, m in a relationship from last 2 years. Now my boyfriend wants to marry wid me, he asking me to leave dis country for marriage as his parents r never agreed wid dis decision n ve orthodox thinking. M ready wid his decision. But I feel ignorance of his whenever I calling him he don't wants to talk me, I called him uncountable den forcefully he answered me. Hi, most importantly, meet him, sit down clarify whatever doubts you have whatever is making you uncomfortable. If he loves you he should comfort you and provide you the solution. You are planning your marriage with him 2 years is not a long time to know everything about each other. Please its advised to know and gather all information about him from all the sources and if all is positive marry him. Make sure this parents are aware about you. The behavior needs some modification, so sit down and talk about it. Tell him your expectations and ask him about his. Only when you are fully satisfied take this major step called marriage. I'm a porn addict. I get seduced even when I see a women's skin or a glamorous wall poster or some normal sexy scenes in a movie. I masturbate 3 times per two days. Ie. More than 10 times a week. I have been doing this for past 5 years. Because of this, the way I look women itself is different. I wanted to get out of this. I'm too much worried. But since masturbation is the only thing that gives me happiness and also reduces my stress, I am not able to stop it. Please give me a solution.

First need to meet psychiatrist regarding the addiction of smoking. If you want to quit your addiction of smoking, you need to be create self confidence first thhat you can stay without taking smoking. After quit the smoking you may suffer from withdrawal symptoms. Don't worry, it happens with everyone, but also depends upon the quantity of the taken addiction. Psychiatrist will help you to treat your withdrawal. You can also join narcotics anonymous meeting. Where you can meet the people who have the same problem that you have, you can get help from na member abt how to deal with your craving of smoking. Best luck & need to fully stop your addiction.
