I am 39 years old male. I have Restless legs syndrome from last 3 months.

MPTh/MPT, BPTh/BPT
Physiotherapist,
Every night elevate your legs from one to four hours before going to bed. (Four hours is a really long time – but if your symptoms are severe, this is where you would start, and then wean back as your symptoms subside.) While your legs are elevated pump your ankles up and down, slowly. (When you push your ankle down, slightly curl your toes. When you lift your ankle up, slightly fan your toes.) Pump your ankles 100 times an hour. (Remember – Exercise should always be comfortable. If it hurts, modify the program.) The above exercise program may be all you need to do to eliminate your symptoms. If not, to further help resolve your complaint, add any of the following and see how they help; While your legs are elevated, tighten and relax your knees 50 -100 times an hour. Walk, Run or Bicycle x 30 minutes when you get home from work. Soak in a tub of cool bath water for 20-30 minutes. Have someone massage your feet and legs every night – preferably a circulation massage, where they try to gently push the fluid in your feet and lower legs up towards your heart.calf and hamstring 5-10 stretches before going to sleep, hot or cold bathing before bed, and the performance of mental activities, such as video games, knitting or conversation.30 minutes on a treadmill in the evening may be a great tonic.

You should take ayurveda medicine because ayurveda cures. If you don't want to take any medicine then you should put 2 drop of pure cow ghee (indian) 2 times a day. After 1 month your complain will cure about 70-80%

I have migraine please give me some more information about it?

CCEDM(DIABETES), MD - Internal Medicine, MBBS
General Physician,
Migraine is a neurological disease characterized by recurrent moderate to severe headaches often in association with a number of autonomic nervous system symptoms. Typically the headache affects one half of the head, is pulsating in nature, and lasts from 2 to 72 hours. Associated symptoms may include nausea, vomiting, and sensitivity to light, sound, or smell. The pain is generally made worse by physical activity. Up to one-third of people with migraine headaches perceive an aura: a transient visual, sensory, language, or disturbance which signals that the headache will soon occur. Occasionally an aura can occur with little or no headache following it. Migraines are believed to be due to a mixture of environmental and genetic factors. About two-thirds of cases run in families. Changing hormone levels may also play a role, as migraines affect slightly more boys than girls before puberty, but about two to three times more women than men.Migraines typically present with self-limited, recurrent severe headache About 15–30% of people with migraines experience migraines with an aura There are three main aspects of treatment: trigger avoidance, acute symptomatic control, and pharmacological prevention. Medications are more effective if used earlier in an attack. The frequent use of medications may result in medication overuse headache, in which the headaches become more severe and more frequent. This may occur with triptans, ergotamines, and analgesics, especially narcotic analgesics.Due to these concerns simple analgesics are recommended to be used less than three days per week at most.

Migraine can be due to many reasons mainly improper diet, improper lifestyle or some medications. You need to correct lifestyle. Respected sir, my father is 59 years old suffering from spinocerebellar ataxia. Progressive in nature. 1. Slurring of speech since 2007 2. Gait abnormality since 2009 3. Writing abnormality since 2009 he is not having any comorbidities neither any family history. Please help me if you have any suggestion for him.

DM - Neurology
Neurologist,
Progressive sca at 59 years age is unusual and should trigger a search for various conditions: cerebrovascular disease, demyelinating disease, infectious diseases, vitamin deficiency, toxic exposure, sarcoidosis, autoimmune diseases (eg, sle, sjogren syndrome), and alcohol-induced cerebellar degeneration. Other diseases that can mimic this condition include late-onset spinocerebellar ataxia with or without a family history, olivopontocerebellar degeneration, and other degenerative diseases of the brain. The most problematic is paraneoplastic cerebellar degernation, even though it is slightly more common among women; in men, it may signal an occult small cell ca of the lung, or hodkgin lymphoma. Apart from the tests for the other conditions mentioned, a test for anti-yo antibody and a search for occult malignancy should be done. Treatment is by physiotherapy/gait therapy, and treatment for the underlying condition if possible.
