How can I loose my belly fat without doing a workout as I'm a busy person and don't have time to visit gym?
First you should follow low calories food for weight loss. * in morning, take 1-2 chapattis with a bowl of cooked green vegetables. You can take a glass of lemon water with it *in lunch you can take a bowl of raw vegetables like carrot, radish, tomatoes, turnip or beetroot. *in evening, you can take a cup of green tea only with some pieces of friuts like apple, pineapple, pear. Avoid taking banana or mango. *in dinner, you can take vegetable soup or a bowl of cooked vegetables. But do not take potato, sweet potatoes. * you can take a cup skimmed milk 4 times a week only during day time. * work out for atleast 1 hour in morning, you can try skipping for 15 minutes with a walk of 30 minutes and 5-10 minutes running. Follow these exercises in the morning - * lie down on flat surface, raise your legs without bending your knees, do it for 3-5 times daily * do not eat fastfoods and soft drinks, as they have high calories and the calories deposit in body in the form of weight if not utilised. * you can take medohar guggalu 1 tablet daily for quick weight loss but only under the guidance of ayurveda expert.

U can start tab rajahpravartini vati 1-1-1 per day with water. You will get your menses. But make sure you are not pregnant before taking this medicine if you are married.

Hello lybrate-user, first you need to find reason for your back pain. It can be due to any fall from bike or height, any gastric problems like ulcer, gas trouble or may be due to nerve compression of backbone. First find the reason nd have medications. Regarding medications there are both oral medications nd external therapies. In oral medications for nerve compression or pain due to fall, you need have decoction nd pills along with fermented liquid. But in case gastric problems, you need to have medicated ghee. Take care nd find the reason.

kindly take gokshura and ashwagandha choorna in equal quatities, make a mixture. Take 1 tsf of this mixture, 1 tsf in a glass of warm milk, 1 hr after meals, twice a day. Stop cold water, curd, spicy food, fried food in your diet. Make sure your sleep 7 to 8 hrs at night regularly. Do regular stretches and brisk walking for 25 mins daily and Continue the regime for 2 months. Good luck

Mr. lybrate-user, Thanks for the query. By now you might have come to know from various sources that diabetes is a condition that one has to live with. There is no cure. Only thing that one can do is adapt a modified lifestyle, take specific medications regularly, take a properly balanced and restricted diet, do necessary exercise and keep blood glucose in good control. That will help in preventing the possible long term complications of diabetes and live a fairly normal life. Thanks.

Hi, You should keep regular walking with exercises at least half an hour in the morning and half an hour at evening. Medication:- Pois. Ok. 0/1 three times a day for one week. Revert back after one week with feedback.

I am very thin and weight also very low, please advise how can I increase my weight and fat.
To gain weight you should eat more calories than you burn. Plus not only you have to eat calorie dense food but you have to keep in mind that what you are eating is healthy too. In the process of weight gain you do not want to put weight in an uneven manner and look unhealthy rather than looking bright and healthy. 1. Start with changing your lifestly. Start working out if you are not active. The biggest myth that prevails now a days is that thin people do not need to work out. This is wrong. When you challenge your body, it is forced to grow. But this growth can only be possible if you are eating enough food to let the body absorb and grow in size and muscles. 2. Eat Healthy – Stop drinking and smoking too much if you are indulged in it. Limit your intake of junk food, pepsi, sugary stuff etc. Do not at all starve yourself. Make it a habit to eat something healthy every 3 hours. This means you have to eat 6 small meals in a day. Your Daily food intake should ideally consist of – a. Have plenty of nuts, dry fuits and seeds. Almonds, walnuts, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, figs, dates and raisins. They are full of healthy fats needed by a human body. b. Good amount of fruits and vegetables – Bananas, apples, pomegranate, green leafy vegetables. Fruits and vegetables helps in absorption of food in the body and together, completes your daily nutrition need. c. If you are a non- vegetarian - Eat eggs, chicken etc. d. Eat whole grains – Try to have multi grains spread throughout the day. Wheat, brown rice, oats, bajra, daliya etc should be taken in multiple meals in a day. e. Eat Sprouts – Chana and moong which are full of protein and nutrients. f. You can supplement your diet with good quality multi-vitamin capsules. If you are lacking in protein, you can buy a high quality whey protein and have it with banana shake twice a day. g. You can take natural food items like wheat grass which is full of essential nutrients which helps in weight gain. Try to be patient while you are on the process of weight gain. Results take time to show. Just follow the regimen of weight gain religiously and you will soon start seeing the results.

-if your plan of reducing your weight. Its better you can increase vegetable, greens intake than fruits. -fruit you can take low gi fruits in limited quantity.

Dark circles are because of lack of nutrients....sleep and weakness...so take proper nutrients and drink plenty of juices and sleep for atleast 7 hours a day...drink 7-8 glasses of water every day.

Hi thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. I am Dr. Akshay from fortis hospital, new delhi. You have mentioned persistent back pains since 10 years which is a long time. If you have localized back pain with no other symptoms like radiating leg pain, neurological symptoms like numbness, weakness, paresthesias etc, then you can start with following recommendations for initial period of 2-3 weeks: - to maintain proper posture of your back while working and sleeping - if pain is more then you can take a short course of an anti-inflammatory medication like tab etoshine or paracetamol or one which suits you - physical therapy initially under supervision of a trained physiotherapist and then to continue at home - adequate calcium & vitamin d intake if levels are low in body - ice packs can applied if your pain is acute, then hot fomentation can be done at home - analgesic spray for local application can be used and is easily available. - avoid lifting heavyweight/ acute forward bending in mornings etc we will observe you for next 2-3 weeks how you respond to this conservative management protocol. If you are not feeling better, then we will have to get some investigations like, dynamic x rays of lower back, mri ls spine and few blood tests for evaluation. Tips for weight gain 1) eat foods rich in protein like milk and milk product, eggs, chicken, meat. 2) eat energy dense foods like nuts, dates, potato, halwa, kheer etc. 3) eat fruits high in energy like banana, chickoo, sitaphal, mango, grapes. 4) eat two servings of pulses in a day esp. Soybean and urad dal. 5) have proper rest.
