I have pain in my lower side back which I first felt when I was bowling in cricket. This pain is not allowing me do any physical activity. Everytime I land my foot a bit harder I feel pain in me side back. Please provide me solution to this problem. Is it do you to bowling? I f it is so let me tell you it was not the first time I was bowling, I was bowling since 2 years back. Please help me with the solution so that I can start my activities back again.

Hi, probably the reason must be bowling position and strain of bowling. So take rest properly. Put some ointment there. If it is not cured by two or three days and condition worsens, do not hesitate to consult privately.

RA i s a degenerative infective auto immune type disease and it requires serious management systematically .Symply doing some exercise and food regimen canot do any help to cure tis disease .Even the state of the illness , duration etc to be known to advise on these matters.Anyhow I can give suggestions ..Usually excess use of chillies, curd,big fish meat fried and oily items,are tob avoided. Use easily digestible food items to get it easily digested otherwise it can cause metabolic complications .Green gram soup, wheat items , small banana fruit, and almost all vegitable items are advised .Bowel movements to be normal and regular.Avoid excess use of painkillers .

It needs to be investigated. Investigations advised - hb, tlc, dlc, esr, sugar f & pp, uric acid, vit d3 urine r/e x ray of the affected part. Anyway you may try- sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick mattress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Do hot fomentation. Paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck back knee & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, inform.

Posture correction must. Do hot fermentation. Do spine extension exercise leg stretching exercise . If it work then OK other wise physiotherapy treatment. Avoid long sitting toward bending lifting weight

Hello. Maintain a right standing and sitting posture, keep your back always straight (even while sitting or standing), avoid carrying weight on back. Hold or carry weight divided equally in both the hands or shoulders (to avoid over straining on one particular hand or shoulder). Always select a chair with proper back support and hand-rest. (Excessive sitting or standing is to be avoided as well don’t carry much weight on shoulders). Apart from these, stress could be the major cause of pains! Exercise: Practice Shavasana or Corpse Pose as it looks like a dead body. If practiced correctly and with full efforts, can relax every body part, relaxing not only the body but also the mind: Spread the legs one to two feet apart, the toes are turned outwards, the heels facing each other, a comfortable distance apart. Bring the arms a little away from the body, palms turned upward. Relax the neck and allow it to turn to the side if it is more comfortable. Close the eyes and focus the attention on the body, breathing normally. Begin focusing each body part and relaxing it, then moving on. Keep the mind focused on relaxation, the breath should be normal. Relax the whole body. Management: -Sit straight with a back-rest or back-support. -Stretching or activities that place additional strain on the back are discouraged. -Sleeping with a pillow between the knees while lying on one side may increase comfort. -Lying on your back with a pillow under your knees would also relieves pain and no pillow under your head. -Some people seem to benefit from the use of ice or heat. Take care, do not use a heating pad on ‘high’ or place ice directly on the skin. Medication: Take homoeopathic medicines - Arnica 200 and Rhus Tox. 200 - take both of them thrice daily for 1 week. Also, apply Schwabe's Topi-Arnica and Topi MP Gel on the affected area in circular motions gently thrice a day. Get back to me thereafter.

Apply prasarini oil or pranacharya restopain oil on your affected part and give hot fomentation twice a day. Take maha rasnadi kwath 2-2 tsf twice a day. Take maha yograj guggul 1-1 after lunch and dinner. Avoid fermented food. Spicy food. Junk food. Eat green vegetables. Fuits. Drink minimum 7-8 glass of water everyday. Sleep for 7 hrs minimum. Do pranayama early morning. And do exercises.

Apply hot fomentation twice daily. Avoid bending in front. Postural correction- sit tall, walk tall. Extension exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times. Bhujang asana -- lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily. Core strengthening exercises- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day.

Hello. I am 55 Years, Male. Suffering from Rheumatoid Arthritis for last 20 years. Already right TKR is done in 2006. Now suffering for left knee. I am consuming Medicines regularly like Caltin D (500), Cyra (20), Omegacheck, HCQS (300), Naprocine or nimesulide or Diclofenac etc. Now a days I am feeling very exhausted in full day. Not feeling fresh at all. Also energy level has gone very low. Even sex power is being reduced. I can not play good in bed. Pl. Hi sir, Jst 1 month back I had a muscle sprain on my lower back while doing warm up exercises. Normally it does not pain. It only pains when I twist or bend my back. After a month I had recovered a lot. Nw when I bend my back forward I get the pain. The pain is not so severe but it feels so uncomfortable while doing workout. Now I want to know how much more time needed to recover as I am engaged in sports (boxing).
