I assume you are talking about muscle cramps in your calf muscles. You can start taking Vit E tab (like Tab Evion LC), once daily (for a month minimum), along with a pain-killer tablet which suits you. I can advise you Tab Voveron SR 75 mg twice daily after food, along with Tab Pan 40 once daily before breakfast (both to be taken for 3-4 days). Along with these medication you can start exercises in form of calf muscle streching and knee and ankle movement exercises (or can consult a physiotherapists). Keep your leg raised while sitting or lying quadriceps strengthening exercises- quad clenches: lie flat on your back or sit upright on a chair with leg kept horizontally on another surface. Now, tighten the muscle on the front of the thigh by pushing your knee down. You should feel your thigh muscles clench, hold for 3 secs. Repeat 10 times twice a day. Short arcs: lie flat on your back or sit upright with your leg placed horizontally on a flat surface like a chair or bed. Place a rolled up towel under the knee. Pull your toes towards you and clench you thigh muscles. Slowly lift your foot up off the bed until your knee is straight (keep your knee resting on the towel). Hold for 3 secs and slowly lower them on the chair. Repeat 10 times twice a day.

I am a 52 yrs Old and having type ii diabetic, first detected 16 yes back. Some 6 yrs back one dr. Prescribed a" blood thinner" and within 2-3 months I developed ed. She sent me to a urologist who said no permanent solution as if operated it may recur. Any suggestion?

You are a bit prejudiced. The blood thinner has nothing to do with your ed. I do not know where you got the idea. It is like saying that any murder that happened on the day a new pm is sworn in, the pm is the murderer. The blood thinner is indicated in your condition and ed happens in old age as well as in diabetics of long duration. Both your doctors have given honest advise. For your own good, stop making prejudiced opinions and decisions. That is likely to cause more life threatening harm to you than ed.

If your menses had beed regular till now and only first time it had gone to 35 days, it is absolutely normal. As such 35 days is the higher limit of normal. You do not need to take any tests or treatment for the same as it can happen because of temporary changes in the hormones or because of stress. All these problems are self corrected by body and your menses will come on time next month.
