Hello, Gaining weight is a slow process which requires patience and dedication! It not only depends upon the amount of food you consume daily, but also about eating Sensibly, depends upon your genes, your body's proper metabolism, assimilation and absorption, the levels of stress/ tension in your life, and any underlying medical condition you have! The food what and how you eat, makes the difference! For increasing your weight, concentrate on the below points (if you don’t have any medical condition) which helps in gaining weight in a right way without harming your body. - Consume more healthy fats. Foods containing healthy fats are full of nutrients and also high in calories, making them a great option for weight gain. Foods containing plant fats should be your first option - this includes items such as nuts, seeds, peanut butter, avocados and olive oil. Foods containing healthy animals fats include lean meats and full fat dairy products - although if you have high cholesterol, you should probably stick to low-fat options. -Eat more protein. Good sources of protein include lean meat, fish and poultry, in addition to eggs, whole grains, dairy products and legumes. -Drink more calories. Try drinking a large glass of orange juice in the mornings (along with your normal breakfast). Drink a glass or two of full-cream milk throughout the day. -Have 6 small and frequent meals in a day. -Gain muscle mass. It's a good idea to continue to exercise while you attempt to gain weight the healthy way. Strength training includes working with weights and performing exercises such as squats, deadlifts, bench presses, bicep curls, crunches, chin-ups and leg curls. Just keep in mind that the more you exercise, the more calories you will need to consume to replace those you lost while working out. -Quit smoking. As it suppresses the appetite. -Stay healthy. The most important thing through the entire weight gain process is to stay healthy - eating a balanced diet and continuing to exercise throughout. -Take enough of rest and sleep for rejuvenation of the cells and tissues. -Think Positive which will help you in achieving your target of gaining weight. -Avoid taking unnecessary stress/ tension. Medication: Take Schwabe’s Alfaalfa Tonic and Five Phos. Both thrice daily ½ an hour before meals for 3months. Revert. Gaining We.

Bad breath can be reduced or prevented if you: practice good oral hygiene. Brush twice a day with fluoride toothpaste to remove food debris and plaque. Don't forget to brush the tongue, too. Replace your toothbrush every 2 to 3 months or after an illness. Use floss or an interdental cleaner to remove food particles and plaque between teeth once a day. See your dentist regularly -- at least twice a year. He or she will conduct an oral exam and professional teeth cleaning and will be able to detect and treat periodontal disease, dry mouth, or other problems that may be the cause of bad mouth odor. Drink lots of water. This will keep your mouth moist. Chewing gum (preferably sugarless) stimulates the production of saliva, which helps wash away food particles and bacteria.

hello there are two types of urges mentioned in Ayurveda 1) dharniya vega (urges, should b controlled, but you aren't) like chinta-stress, bhaya-fear, shoka-, krodha-short temper, maan- ego, lobha-greedy etc mental condition you should control yourself 2) adharniya vega (urges that should not be controlled, but you are controling) like sleep, urine, stool, hunger, thirst, yawn, sneeze, vomit etc. so it's too bad live with depression. life is a gift. a beautiful phrase :" life has either problem or not. if no problem, then WHY WORRY? if you have problem, two possibility. either you can handle or not. if you can handle, WHY WORRY? if you can not do anything for problem, then again WHY WORRY?:) my advises to you are * take life lightly * main problem is how you are reacting matters & incidence of your life & day to day * you can see half filled glass of water by two way: half is still empty(nagative attitude) or half full(positive) * take balance diet * give time for yoga * constipation should removed * you can take brahmi sankhpuspi etc ayurveda medicine * I recommended strongly, go near by ayurveda centre & take shirodhara & Nashya treatment you can cunsult me privetly

At 48, you can afford to do healthy dieting, may be not later. I am not in favor of taking any medicines for weight reduction. Only simple dieting with moderate exercise. You are passing through perimenopausal period too, means a few years before or after periods stop, here is decline in hormones & some amount of weight gain is physiological too@ 1/2 kg per year. One can counter this too through sensible eating. Reduce salt to minimum as it causes water retention. Take lots of potassium like citrus fruits, oranges, lemon water, apple cider vinegar but no sugar or other carbs like grains, maida or bread/rice during the day. Eat lots of seasonal vegetables & fruits & drink lots of water. A katori of nuts gives good fats, proteins & are filling too, they counter hunger pangs & so does 1 boiled egg. Simple walk is best exercise provided there is no pollution. You can use indoor stable cycle too & cycle while watching tv within your home. One meal in evening of daal roti chawal & lots of salads. No bad fats of burgers & other street food. You will lose weight @ 5 kg per month, initially it will be quicker, then remain stable but carry on with diet & exercise, after some time there will be sharp decline. Do not aim for size 0, just lose about 10 kgs & maintain it. Good luck. Get basic tests done like ultrasound of abdomen, blood sugar, lipid profile & get bp checked.

Kindly show me a photograph of the affected part. Rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful Do hot fomantation. Paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck, back & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. You will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. Hello. I want to talk about a complicated situation going in my life. And it's making me insane. I'm 22 years old student. Till 12th boards. I was quite serious about my career. And I'm still. Really want to achieve. And want to be working girl. But after 12 I took and really worked hard for a national level college. Though I could not got that but still it was my choice not to go for other that was good enough but out of state. I wanted to be stay in my own city which I really where are all my friends as well my bf. After a lot of fight I took architecture instead engineering I thought it would be great for me and everyone was against it. But I won and my college began. 1 year was okay. I mean not great. I mean I was just an average girl with hi-fi thinking. And 2 year my attendance was becoming short day by day. I started thinking I don't deserve I want something else. Once my attendance was very short in 3 year. I got so scared that what would everyone will ask about my attendance. And so on and what will I tell to my class teacher and friends. I got really scared and stopped going to classes and did not attend the exams as well. Everyone of my batch will graduate next year. I don't know what should I do? I mean what I'm suppose to do? I cannot talk to my friends or my family relatives. That's why I'm very scared. I wanted to an ias. And it was my dream since I was in 9th std. And now I don't know what to do. Sometimes I think I should die just end my life instead of wasting everyone's money hope and time. And frankly I can't tell or talk to anyone. Dear lybrate user Neha, ups and downs are part of life and we cannot control it what we can control is to give proper direction to our life when there is will there is way.i want to give few suggestions please have a little faith in me what i am suggesting .first of all think only about yourself don't think about what others are thinking about you if you will acheive something good in future every one will follow your path.i am giving one example" once there was boy ,his father and horse ,they were going somewhere when both son and father were riding the horse people said how cruel they are ,then son started to walk and father was on horse then people said that how cruel the father is ,he is on horse and son is walking ,then son was on horse then people said how cruel is son,then both son and father started to walk then people said how foolish they are.the moral of the story is that if you will consider what people are thinking and saying then you will deviate from your goal .you want to be an ias you can start from now also its never too late as your age is 22 and maximum age to appear in ias exam is 32 so no issue with age.you can see many example of girls who were average students but qualified ias exam.what actually need is your determination and hard work so start from today.even god help those who help themselves.good luck.

Hi lybrate-user. Though after our hair comes out of the scalp it is dead protein, its growth is depended on a number of reasons and hair loss is one of the indicators of underlying ill health. Here are some of the reasons for hair loss. 1. Nutritional deficiencies: 2. Hormonal imbalance 3. Stress 4. Medication 5. Illness 6. Hair style and treatments. Medication:- 1. Regukar oiling with sukesham oil, guduchi pharmacy helps a lot to reduce hairfall within 21 days. 2. Preferably use guduchi anti hairfall shampoo, blot you hair with towel n donot rub. 3. Dear lybrate-user, Eat foods rich in Vitamins, especially Vitamin C. Also add turmeric in larger portions in food. Gargle with salt, turmeric alternately. Drink plenty hot water and take adequate rest. You should be ok.
