I am type 2 diabetic since 2001 taking allopathic medicines. I do regular morning walk and some physical exercise. I don't strictly controller my diets. Quarterly checked blood shows around normal level sugar. But I am slightly overweight with bulky tummy. Is there any chance of reducing belly? I am now 64.

Dear Mr. lybrate-user, Appreciate your initiative in learning the process of keeping up and fit with healthy diet supplements. 50 mins of brisk morning walk (must everyday), little yoga soaked 1 tea spoon methi seeds on empty stomach with luke warm water (2 glasses) (can be had even before every meal. (Swallow and do not chew) Have fruits before going for walk in the mornings. Have fruits at 4 pm Adding curds and dry fruits to your daily intake. Drink water minimum 12 glasses a day Please write to me your eating habits. I can guide you with my prescription further recommending balanced diet to control diabetes and weight management.

Hello Sir/Madam, MY body weight varies alot over period of time, I was 78 kg last year, but now my current weight is 90 kg, I have gone through my Thyroid profile it is also normal, kindly advise me proper diet from morning to night so that I can reduce my weight, I used to do daily running for 3 km. Avoid fatty and spices food and skip lunch with mild breakfast and dinner take warm water with lemon and honey 2 glass daily empty stomach walk for at least 4-5 km daily with mild exercise and diet control avoid non veg and fast food do exercise and take plenty of water and papaya every day.

आज कल कूकरी शोज़ की और रेसिपीज़ की भरमार है . पर हम खाना पकाने में आयुर्वेदिक सिद्धांतों की पूरी तरह से अवहेलना कर देते हैं , जिसकी वजह से आज स्वास्थ्य सम्बन्धी कई समस्याएँ आ रही है .अगर कोई ऐसी बिमारी है जो वर्षों से ठीक नहीं हो रही तो खाने में ये आजमा कर देखे .

- सूप बनाते समय उसमे दूध नहीं डाले .
- दही खट्टा हो तो उसमे दूध नहीं डाले .
- ओट्स पकाते समय उसमे दूध दही साथ साथ न डाले .
- चाय कॉफ़ी में शहद ना डाले .
- पूरी , भटूरे , मिठाइयां डालडा घी में ना बना कर शुद्ध घी में बनाए .
- नमकीन चावलों में , सब्जी की करी में दूध न डाले .
- खट्टे फलों के साथ , फ्रूट सलाद में क्रीम या दूध न डाले .
- दही बड़ा विरुद्ध आहार है .
- 4 बजे के बाद केले , दही , शरबत , आइसक्रीम आदि का सेवन ना करे .
- आटा लगाने के लिए दूध का इस्तेमाल ना करे .
- गर्मियों में हरी मिर्च और सर्दियों में लाल मिर्च ला सेवन करे .
- सुबह ठंडी तासीर की और शाम के बाद गर्म तासीर के खाने का सेवन करे .
- पकौड़ों के साथ चाय या मिल्क शेक नहीं गरम कढ़ी ले .
- फलों को सुबह नाश्ते के पहले खाए . किसी अन्य खाने के साथ मिलाकर ना ले .कच्चा सलाद भी खाने के पहले खा ले .
- दही वाले रायते को हिंग जीरे का तडका अवश्य लगाएं .
- दाल में एक चम्मच घी अवश्य डाले .
- खाली पेट पान का सेवन ना करे .
- खाने के साथ पानी नहीं ज़्यादा पानी डाला छाछ या ज्यूस या सूप पियें .
- अत्याधिक नमक और खट्टे पदार्थ सेहत के लिए ठीक नहीं .
- बघार लगाने में खूब हिंग , जीरा , सौंफ , मेथीदाना , धनिया पावडर , अजवाइन आदि का प्रयोग करें

We need more investigations with clinical examination to decide upon treatment. You may need deep cleaning along with surgical, gum strengthening procedure. Rinse your mouth thoroughly with a mouth wash after every meals. Use pepsodent tooth paste & gum paint for 2 to 3 weeks. Advance procedures can be done with laser. Dental tips: - visit a dentist every six months for cleaning and a thorough dental check-up. Limit sugary food to avoid tooth decay. Gargle your mouth thoroughly after every meal. Scrub gently to clean your tongue with a tongue cleaner. Floss all your teeth inter dentally & brush twice daily, morning & night, up & down short vertical strokes, with ultra-soft bristles, indicator brush. Tooth brush to be changed every 2 months.

Hi, start using sunsreen lotion above spf 30 .Include citrus fruits and salads in your diet for complexion.Don't use any bleaching agents for skin.Apply plain cream or lotion which doesn,t have harsh chemicals.Take medicine R-60 drops (Dr Reckweg ,Germany) 10drops in 1/4cup of water drink twice a day ,1/2 an hour before meals.

avoid ovulation period that is 8th to 18th + avoid ovulation period which is 8th and 18th day of period.so,avoid that period.it is fertile period.

I hope this message finds you in good health. To prevent hair fall, you can follow some simple steps as listed below: 1. Use mild shampoo to wash hair (you can make your own shampoo using reetha and shikakai at home). 2. Stop using conditioners. Use natural conditioners like egg, yougurt and lemon. 3. Massage your scalp with a mix of oils like olive, coconut, sesame, castor oil at night. 4. Apply raw amla juice on hair thrice a week. 5. Rub your scalp with the juice of white onion. 6. Use a paste of bhringraj on hair. 7. You can use some good hair packs like - fenugreek and yogurt, egg and green tea. 8. You can rinse your hair with organic apple cider vinegar after washing your hair to maintain pH balance of your hair. 9. Hair health depends on the amount of protein in your diet. Foods like chicken, eggs, fish, nuts, dry fruits gives you the required nutrients to keep your skin and hair healthy. So consume plenty of them. Eat things rich in vitamin C like amla and oranges.

I will suggest you to wash your hair daily with lux shampoo and apply hair oil daily and Few diet tips - Not to eat fried food items and Can eat All green vegetables, moong , chana , Dal , rice etc And to apply ghee over chappati and don’t apply oil over chappati And to drink milk mixed with turmeric powder twice a day And If possible eat eggs on alternate days And If possible in breakfast eat atleast one bajra ka rotla And Eat seasonal fruit
