How to maintain the stones in the kidney. Generally all men's have stones but how to save yourself from unusual pain?

How to maintain the stones in the kidney. Generally all men's have stones but how to save yourself from unusual pain?
Although kidney stones are a common problem but rather than to eat painkillers during pain why not you give more emphasis tosuch diet which will help in less or no formation of kidney stones---------------below given is the diet which will help you to get rid of recurrent kidney stone problems-------------instead of reducing your calcium intake, focus on limiting the sodium in your diet. Extra sodium causes you to lose more calcium in your urine, putting you at risk for developing another stone. Limit your sodium to 2, 000 milligrams each day. There are many sources of hidden sodium such as canned or commercially processed foods as well as restaurant-prepared and fast foods. Calcium oxalate kidney stones are the leading type of kidney stones. Oxalate is naturally found in many foods, including fruits and vegetables, nuts and seeds, grains, legumes, and even chocolate and tea. Some examples of foods that contain high levels of oxalate include: peanuts, spinach, beets, chocolate and sweet potatoes. Another common type of kidney stone is a uric acid stone. Red meat and shellfish have high concentrations of a natural chemical compound known as a purine. High purine intake leads to a higher production of uric acid which then accumulates as crystals in the joints, or as stones in the kidneys. To prevent uric acid stones, cut down on high-purine foods such as red meat, organ meats, and shellfish, and follow a healthy diet that contains mostly vegetables and fruits, whole grains, and low fat dairy products. Limit sugar-sweetened foods and drinks, especially those that contain high fructose corn syrup. Limit alcohol because it can increase uric acid levels in the blood and avoid crash diets for the same reason. Eating less animal-based protein and eating more fruits and vegetables will help decrease urine acidity and this will help reduce the chance for stone formation. You should also be sure to drink at least 6-8 glass of water a day to help reduce the risk for stone formation.

hi. you have got anal fissure due to your poor dietary habits. you have to leave masala. i am afraid that you may require surgery. meanwhile stop all kind of masala and spices. eat more of green vegetables, fruits and salads. start doing Sitz bath( sit in a tub filled with luke warm water for 15min and make your anal region squeeze and relax) thrice a day. if stool is hard then you require a laxative. for further queries and medication you can consult me online.

2-4 pus cell in the urine is ok . nothing to worry about or the reason to make you unfit. too many puss cells in the urine can mean a urinary tract infection, a sexually transmitted disease, kidney infection, or abscess near the kidney. if the pus cells are more then 5 then you may need antibiotic to reduce the level of the pus cells .Take care

I am 71 years old with Prostate enlargement. Should I restrict my water intake. Thanks

MD - General Medicine, MBBS
General Physician,
No. Restricting your water intake will not decrease the frequency of urine. Besides restricting water can cause dehydration and will increase the chance side effects because of urimax ( giddiness and falls)

Hello, severe pain during menses is called dysmenorrhoea and can be due to endometriosis or adenomyosis. The pain can be controlled with nsaids and to regularise menses you need to rule out pcos, hypothyroidism and hyperprolactinemia as well first. If pregnancy is not a concern then continue mala n for another 3 months.

Urinary Incontinence In Women - How to Deal With It?

MBBS, MS
Gynaecologist, Kolkata
Urinary Incontinence In Women - How to Deal With It?

Are you experiencing unintentional loss of urine lately? This is an indication of a condition known as urinary incontinence in women. The condition usually arises from pregnancy, childbirth and menopause. In many cases, overactive and weak bladder muscles, and nerve damage may also cause urinary incontinence. This is a common problem in women, which is treatable. There are several types of this condition such as stress incontinence, urge incontinence, functional incontinence, mixed incontinence, transient incontinence and mixed incontinence.

Management of Urinary Incontinence
There are several ways and methods which you can apply to manage urinary incontinence. They are as follows:

  1. Pelvic floor exercises: Pelvic floor muscles help in holding urine and when these muscles get weakened due to pregnancy or because of being overweight, leakage occurs. You have to carry out several exercises for improving the symptoms. Doing this exercise on a regular basis will prevent leakage and stop the existing leakage. These exercises are useful when you have a sudden urge for urination, and they involve the relaxation and contraction of the pelvic floor muscles.
  2. Less liquid consumption: Leakages are more likely to occur when the bladder is full and drinking any kind of liquid will make you feel like urinating. You must limit your consumption of alcohol and caffeine as these cause the urine to increase.
  3. Bathroom schedule: In case you have to visit the bathroom too often or frequently, you must try to increase the time between bathroom visits. You have to practice bladder training along with pelvic floor exercises. Slowly, you will be able to reduce your bathroom visits.
  4. Wearable devices: You can use wearable devices for placing support in the vagina as these prevent leakage. You may be fitted with a silicon device known as a pessary. Tampons can be used for the prevention of leaks as well. Tampons are recommended for women who leak during activities such as running. For preventing shock syndrome, the tampon should be changed every six hours.
  5. Weight loss: Obesity and extra weight cause urinary incontinence as these put extra pressure on the bladder or the urethra, which is the tube which starts from the bladder. This is associated with stress incontinence and leaks due to sneezing, coughing, lifting or laughing. Heavier women are more likely to face this problem and weight loss can help in managing the same.

In case you are experiencing urinary incontinence, you must consult a doctor and discuss your problems. A doctor will provide you the best remedies for dealing with the stressful condition.

Bed wetting is called enuresis. It could be due to the immature bladder which cause her to do it in bed without letting her know. I would advise you to go for homoeopathic treatment. It gives best results in bed wetting.

I am contracting urinal infection very frequently and gets high fever. I am diabetic too. Why is it so and any remedy...
Urinary tract infections, or UTIs (urinary tract infections), occur when bacteria or other bugs invade your body’s drainage system. Normally, your immune defenses banish these bugs before they can grow and multiply. But if you have diabetes, the following factors interfere: Diabetes impairs some parts of your immune response. For the same reason, diabetics often develop UTIs caused by less commonly encountered germs. Routine antibiotics may be ineffective. Nerve damage can keep your bladder from emptying, either by weakening muscles or scrambling the signals between your brain and urinary system. Urine that remains in your body too long poses a greater infection risk causing high fever. Management- first of all you need to control your sugar levels by proper diet and if required take medications. Keep personal hygiene. Hydrate yourself more. And if these conditions persists then you need to have proper homeopathic medications. So consult a good homeopath. For more queries contact us.

Important causes of obesity are: Eating more sugar in the diet increases body weight. People who like eating sweet and sugary products experience more body weight than normal. Carbohydrates get converted into fats and get deposited in the body tissues and muscles. Sedentary lifestyle is another important reason for obesity. People who do not perform any exercise or physical activity during the day may suffer fromt is becoming more common in children as they do not go out to play. People who remain wake up at night and do not get proper sleep may also suffer from obesity. Insomnia or reduced night’s sleep is also a cause of obesity. People who take prescription medicines for different diseases can also suffer from obesity. Medicines produce side effect and increases body weight by quickly converting carbohydrates into fats. Curry leaves also form an effective home remedy for losing weight naturally. Eat a few curry leaves everyday in the morning and drink a glass of lukewarm water to get rid of body fat. It gives quick results in a few weeks. Medicines . Medohar guggul .kachnar guggul. But you should start medicine only after consulting a doctor. Alternatively you can consult me here on Lybrate. MBBS
General Physician,
I have 2 kidney stone in my both kidneys. Kindly give a suggestion to remove this stones.
Get an usg kubp done. Mention the size of the stones. If they are more than 5 mm in size or in lower calyx they will not be easily gone by medicines. Also some type of stones are harder in consistency they take months to go away. Different kidney disorders and urinary tract obstructions can predispose to recurrent stones. Drink plenty of water in frequent interval. Continue any citrate syrup you r taking. Avoid taking high protein diet.

If the stone is big causing obstructive symptoms, it has to be treated by surgery. Take USG KUB and consult urologist with report for advice and treatment.
