Hello lybrate user, back pain that is associated with day time sedentary jobs like computer professional s are associated with paraspinal muscle spasms. The best way to tackle this sort of pain is to do well spaced stretching exercises of the back, back extension exercises, using hot water bags to provide relief and avoiding stooping posture while sitting. Posture also plays a very important part in back pain, always maintain a straight posture while sitting. While getting up from the bed try to first go on your left or right side of the body and get up side ways. Avoid cruntches or sit-ups: they may increase the pressure on your back and may predispose to slip disc. Always maintain a healthy lifestyle in terms of regular brisk walking, meditation, eating healthy. P. S: try to avoid pain killers (analgesics) as much as possible as many are associated with side effects that you may not be aware of. Stay healthy. Stay happy god bless you.

these are the symptoms of hypothyroidism, firstly get your thyroid tested than only any doctor would prescribe you a treatment. secondly for weakness concentrate on your diet and start doing surya namaskar in morning, empty stomach to gain energy, for nervousness put 2 drops of cow ghee in your both nostrils before sleeping, you will see within 1 week all your nervousness is gone, start sleeping with your head in east or south direction to have a sound sleep and your irritation and pain will vanish. get a whole body massage with mustard oil twice a week for bone nutrition and muscle relaxation.

Take tab. sinarest it contains ( Acetaminophen+ Pseudoephedrine+ chlorpheniramine). Acetaminophen, chlorpheniramine, and pseudoephedrine is a combination medicine for throat infection and treat headache, fever, body aches, runny or stuffy nose, sneezing, itching, watery eyes, and sinus congestion caused by allergies, the common cold, or the flu. Do gargle with warm water thrice a day. Drink warm water also. Take plenty of water, liquid diet, dalia, green veg., orange. avoid cold things, avoid cold drinks. Avoid Oily foods. If symptoms are from more days or again persist then do few tests for confirm causes of it.. i.e. CBC. welcome in lybrate.

Scaphoid got fractured on 12th of June, post which, underwent 3 weeks of plaster. After removal of plaster, I did x-ray after a month and a half but upon x-ray the results were a let down. It didn't get fixed. Revisited the doctor and he suggested a surgery to remove the fragmented bone. Another doctor asked to give another 45 days of plaster a shot. I am in a very cumbersome situation right now. What advice will you suggest?

Scaphoid is your wrist bone, one of your carpals bone. A scaphoid fracture, a fracture of the scaphoid bone also known as the carpal navicular, is the most common type of carpal bone fracture. [1] scaphoid fractures usually cause pain at the base of the thumb accompanied by swelling in the same area. Scaphoid fractures usually cause pain and sensitivity to palpation in the anatomic snuffbox at the base of the thumb accompanied by swelling in the same area. These are also called navicular fractures (the scaphoid also being called the carpal navicular) as navicular is the traditional name for the scaphoid bone, although this can be confused with the navicular in the foot. Treatment depends on the location of the fracture. Fractures of scaphoid can occur either with direct axial compression or with hyperextension of the wrist, such as a fall on the palm on an outstretched hand (foosh). The most common classification of scaphoid fractures categorizes them by location: distal third (distal pole), central third (waist) and proximal third (proximal pole) using the herbert classification system. Advice: I won`t advice you for surgery, you can go according with your other other oerthopaedic surgeon to again get in plaster for 45 days, but visit him in every 15 days to get assured your healing is on the right track. Healing varies depending on the individual, nothing to worry, and keep a strict diet, whatever your doctor suggested. It`s happen certain times, but you should`nt worry, but please don`t opt for surgery because surgeries are not successfull.

Haemorrhoids or piles are the rectal vein engorgement and protrution to the rectal canal. This may happen due to portal venous congestion, intra abdominal pressure, chronic constipation. Etc. Now a days improper Food habits are the main reason for the condition. A the liver takes more time to metabolise the food nutrient, that are heavy the vein that carries to liver called portal vein gets a congestion later to form rectal pressure and piles. Go for simple and easily digesting foods, do regular exercise, sleep well and maintain good health. Mild compression at L5-S1 may or may not be the cause of your pain since 2011. There has to be other Biomechanical Cause behind your pain, hence your disc Problem need not be addressed because It's not always the cause of your pain, so there are other factors which needs to be scrutinized such as your Lumbar Curvature (one of the most vital reason to look for any anomalies which is one of the cause behind pain ), other factors like Spinal Muscle Tightness like Quadratus Lumborum, Multifidus, etc or weakness of Spinal Muscles or Pelvis Muscles can also lead to pain. Pelvis Rotation often called as Anterior Pelvic Tilt or Posterior Pelvis tilt, Sacral forward or backward Rotation can also lead to pain, which is most commonly seen in our daily clinical practice. Piriformis muscle tightness can also give rise to chronic pain when left unaddressed. Even your ankle joint anomaly or Calf muscle Tightness can also lead to low back pain. So as per the MRI report, the mild disc compression can be useless unless you go through a thorough examination under a skilled Orthopedic Physiotherapist. My mom has a severe back pain and it is difficult for her to stand for 10 mins also. If she does then her legs start paining and she immediately has to lie down with someone's help. Advice…. Hot Fomentation x twice daily. Avoid bending in front. Postural Correction. Sit Tall, Walk Tall. Extension Exercises x 15 times x twice daily Bhujang Asana x 15 timesx twice daily Core Strengthening Exercises. Back Stretching.

Never tense for knee joint pain take 2 gm turmeric powder with hot milk 200ml and 1/4 tsf deshi ghee mix all these drink at bedtime. Find better result in pain and stiffness, do mild excercise and walking apply any oil over the joints.

I am 36 years old male, since last couple of months, I do feel crackling sounds in bones, also having pain on my calf in walking through over. Please do suggest to overcome such problem, should I start taking of calcium, if yes, name please? I am in 65 kg of weight with 173 cm in height, lean body.
