Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Use no pillow under the head. Kindly take BioD3 Max 1 tab dailyx10 Paracetamol 250mg OD & SOS x5days Do back(spine)/shoulder/knee exercises Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take Do not ignore it. It could be beginning of a serious problem. If no relief in 4_5 days,then contact me again.

1. Start with Physiotherapy treatment. 2. Learn spinal exercises 3. Apply volini cream before sleeping 4. Don't sit on floor 5. Wear sports shoes 6. Take calcium, vitamin D 3 and Methylcobalmine supplement 7. Use lumber spine belt.

Swelling & Pain in right thigh (still exists). Venous inflammation seen all over the right leg now subsided (probably with Heparin cream). Once a day is not masturbation addiction. The 3 things you mentioned are not due to masturbation. Masturbation is a very healthy form of sexual outlet, do not feel guilty about it. Nearly 99% of men and more than 60% of women masturbate. It starts from adolescence and goes on in some people even till death. The pleasure (orgasm) from masturbation is said to be unique from sexual intercourse. In men, most of the liquid contains only water and some fructose and hormones. Hence it does not drain your energy. Many equate masturbation/ seminal fluid loss to lack of energy, impotency and so on. Many quacks, religious heads and pseudo healers also propagate the idea that masturbation is a disorder/ and wrongful behavior and instill fear on the mind of innocent men and women (we can see posters in train and bus stand, offering help for this behavior). Consult a psychiatrist, if you have excessive masturbation guilt or compulsive masturbation. Compulsive masturbation is when a person continues with frequent masturbation neglecting his/ her other work like education, job or social obligations. In fact masturbation reduces the sexual tension and helps focus on task at hand better.

Exercises For Sciatica

The sciatic nerve is one of the largest nerves in the body. It goes from the lower back all the way down to the base of the leg. When there is a disorder associated with the sciatic nerve, it is known as Sciatica. 

Sciatica, however, does not necessarily need a surgery or a very elaborate procedure to fix the problem. Most commonly, it is treated simply by practicing a number of simple exercises. Here are some of the most common exercises prescribed to treat Sciatica:

  1. Reclining Pigeon Pose: There are three main forms of the pigeon pose. These are sitting, reclining and then forwarding. It is recommended that if you have very recently started your treatment for Sciatica, then certainly you should go for the reclining pose. In this pose, you are supposed to hold your left leg in the air at a right angle to your back. Then, hold your ankle against the knee. Finally, repeat this stretch with the right leg as well.
  2. Knee to Opposite Shoulder: In this stretch, the starting position is on your back side. You have to have your legs out and feet upwards. From this position, try to bring your right leg towards your left shoulder. Hold this for 30 seconds and then release and relax. Repeat this activity three times and repeat the whole procedure with your other leg. Only take your leg as far as it goes.
  3. Sitting Spinal Stretch: At the start of this exercise, sit on the ground with your legs going straight outwards and your feet flexed in the upward direction. Pull your left knee and put it on the outside of your right knee. Finally, place your right elbow on the left knee, so that your body turns to the left. Hold for 30 seconds and then relax. Repeat the procedure with the other knee.
  4. Standing Hamstring Stretch: Put your foot on an elevated surface such that it is above the floor, but not above hip level. Flex your toes forward such that your feet and legs are nearly in a straight line. Bend as far towards the foot as possible. However, do not stretch so far that you feel pain. Finally, repeat this procedure on the other side after release.

27 year old Male with lower back pain when sitting on a chair (in front of a computer) continuously for longer than 20 mins which intensifies if sitting for longer than 1 hour. Pain extends a bit into the legs. Pain is not too much but I feel like I cannot continue sitting and am forced to get up. I understand that you should not sit for extended periods but pain every 20 mins is a huge problem.

Apply Hot Fomentation twice daily. Avoid bending in front. Postural Correction- Sit Tall, Walk Tall. Extension Exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times. Bhujang Asana -- Lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily. Core Strengthening Exercises- Straight Leg Raised With Toes Turned Outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day.

long sitting is ur problem and bad posture so posture correction must.tk soft pillow for back support avoid long sitting. tk break between work that's strain do hot fermentation and stretching exercise if it work then OK otherwise physiotherapy treatment for few days

Hand- advice hot fomentation. Gentle stretching of hand muscles. Ball exercises. Wrist exerciser. Leg pain- for leg pain, please follow the below advise: keep your leg raised while sitting or lying quadriceps strengthening exercises- quad clenches: lie flat on your back or sit upright on a chair with leg kept horizontally on another surface. Now, tighten the muscle on the front of the thigh by pushing your knee down. You should feel your thigh muscles clench, hold for 3 secs. Repeat 10 times twice a day. Short arcs: lie flat on your back or sit upright with your leg placed horizontally on a flat surface like a chair or bed. Place a rolled up towel under the knee. Pull your toes towards you and clench you thigh muscles. Slowly lift your foot up off the bed until your knee is straight (keep your knee resting on the towel). Hold for 3 secs and slowly lower them on the chair. Repeat 10 times twice a day. Straight leg raise: lie flat on your back. One leg and knee will be straight and other leg should be bent. Pull your toes towards you and tighten/clench the muscle on the front of the thigh, locking your knee straight. Lift your foot up in the air, about 6 inches off the bed. Hold for 3 secs and slowly lower the leg. The knee must remain straight the whole time you are doing this exercise.

Dear user. At your age backpain is no common. It is caused due to sitting for long time and posture of sitting is not proper. Take proper rest. Just take ultrasonic therapy to reduce pain and if possible read my article about causes of backpain.

Activities of daily living (ADLs) are activities that we do on a regular basis as part of our daily life: driving, bathing, shaving, housework, yard work , dressing, and toileting. In healthcare, a great emphasis is placed on the importance of being able to perform these basic functions of normal living. This article is dedicated to helping anyone with a lumbar disc herniation adapt his or her life to allow healing to take place.One of the key components to healing from a disc injury is to remove the cause of injury and the causes of irritation. In this chapter we will identify ways to protect the spine from further injury while participating in activities of daily living.The prevailing concept in protecting the lumbar discs is based on maintaining a neutral arch of the spine in activities of daily living and avoiding flexion of the spine (bending forward).

Bending the spine forward distorts the nucleus of the discs in a potentially injurious manner.

Maintaining a health lordosis (arch) is protective of the lumbar disc.

Accessing a Car’s Trunk

1.Do not bend at the waist to access a car’s trunk. This is especially dangerous after prolonged driving (due to creep)

2.When accessing the trunk of a car, avoid bending at the waist. Instead, place a foot on the bumper or use the “golfer’s tilt” to minimize the risk of injury. Strive to maintain a neutral arch in the lower back.

3.The golfer’s tilt allows a protective cantilever effect to protect the disc from flexion. In a golfer’s tilt all motion occurs at the hip, not the spine.

Take vit. D3 60, 000 once a week 6 doses and calcium 1gm daily for a month. If vit d 3 is too low you may need injectibles.

One year ago, my ankle of right leg fractured. The doctors did operation and injected the steel wire/rod in my leg to support my ankle. Now my leg is in good condition then I can walk and run now. So my question is that, should I remove that steel wire/rod from my ankle now or after which time?

Hi, the implant can be removed after union of fracture site and not before two years of surgery to avoid unnecessary chances of infection of implant, implant failure etc.
