To gain weight you should eat more calories than you burn. Plus not only you have to eat calorie dense food but you have to keep in mind that what you are eating is healthy too. In the process of weight gain you do not want to put weight in an uneven manner and look unhealthy rather than looking bright and healthy. 1. Start with changing your lifestly. Start working out if you are not active. The biggest myth that prevails now a days is that thin people do not need to work out. This is wrong. When you challenge your body, it is forced to grow. But this growth can only be possible if you are eating enough food to let the body absorb and grow in size and muscles. 2. Eat Healthy – Stop drinking and smoking too much if you are indulged in it. Limit your intake of junk food, pepsi, sugary stuff etc. Do not at all starve yourself. Make it a habit to eat something healthy every 3 hours. This means you have to eat 6 small meals in a day. Your Daily food intake should ideally consist of – a. Have plenty of nuts, dry fuits and seeds. Almonds, walnuts, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, figs, dates and raisins. They are full of healthy fats needed by a human body. b. Good amount of fruits and vegetables – Bananas, apples, pomegranate, green leafy vegetables. Fruits and vegetables helps in absorption of food in the body and together, completes your daily nutrition need. c. If you are a non- vegetarian - Eat eggs, chicken etc. d. Eat whole grains – Try to have multi grains spread throughout the day. Wheat, brown rice, oats, bajra, daliya etc should be taken in multiple meals in a day. e. Eat Sprouts – Chana and moong which are full of protein and nutrients. f. You can supplement your diet with good quality multi-vitamin capsules. If you are lacking in protein, you can buy a high quality whey protein and have it with banana shake twice a day. g. You can take natural food items like wheat grass which is full of essential nutrients which helps in weight gain. Try to be patient while you are on the process of weight gain. Results take time to show. Just follow the regimen of weight gain religiously and you will soon start seeing the results.

Yes there are chances of getting pregnant you can confirm your status by checking your urine for pregnancy test if you don't get your periods till one week after the expected date.

reasons of forgetfulness----
Lack of sleep is the most common cause.Two little restful sleep can also lead to mood changes and anxiety which in turn cause impairment of memory.
Many drugs can affect memory,which include tranqilizers,antidepressant,blood presure medicine and anti allergic medicine.
Anxiety also can lead to forgetfulness.
Depression is also cause of forgerfulness.

Use reetha shampoo. Patanjali herbal mehendi. Badam rogan oil 15 drops at night with milk regular intake orally. Bhringaraj juice 4tsf bdpc. Amla hair oil apply locally. Continue all for 6 months. Avoid alkohal nnd do lft test.

Hi lybrate-user, I am sorry to know about your stone problem. Since the stone is causing hydronephrosis, I think it is in the ureter (the tube connecting kidney to urinary bladder). Any hydronephrosis lasting more than 4 weeks can cause permanent damage to the kidney. If the pain and hydronephrosis have been there for only a few days to weeks, you can try medical expulsive therapy using alpha-blockers like Tamsulosin. If the ultrasound shows features of kidney damage or if the stone is in upper ureter, then it is better to remove the stone endoscopically as soon as possible. Please visit your local Urologist urgently.

Yes you can increase your height as our height usually depends upon growth hormone and genetic effect too but you can stimulate your growth by :1) Exercise which includes stretching, hanging, yoga, aerobics etc. 2)increase intake of nutritious food like more of green vegetables like spinach, peas, beans, fresh fruits etc 3) at least sleep for 8 hours to stimulate growth hormone 4) avoid inhibitors like smoking and drinking alcohol. 5)remain stress free.

Hairfall can be due to many reasons, like excessive pitta in the body or sinus problem or loss of asthi dhatu. So proper treatment is necessary according to symptoms. So please see some ayurveda physician near you personally. Till then you can try these home remedies. 1) start taking 1 amla everyday. 2) Apply paste of trifla, bhringraj & methi seeds on head before washing & wash after 1 hr. 3) Increase the qty of milk & ghee in your diet. 4) Have a good sleep. 5) Go for shirodhara, a panchakarma treatment for reduced stress & better hair growth 6) Reduce the amount of salt & spices in your daily diet 7) wash hair with trifla & neem kadha 8) Make a Hair pack mixing fine powders of triphalā 50 gm, nāgaramothā 10 gm, methī seeds 40 gm and mehendī or hīnā (Lowsonia inermis) powder 150 gm in water and apply from the root to the tips of the hair. This pack is kept for about 2 hrs and washed clean. 9) Take 1/3rd cup of aloe vera juice daily 10) Alcoholic drinks have animosity with good hair so you should better avoid it.

Does having supplements during gym for muscles is harmful. My trainer advise for supplement for enhancement in body n muscles but I fear about adverse effect so does it have any adverse effect especially lyk dysfunction dysfunction or any sexual problem or any problem related to body or after leaving this supplements.

There is no denying fact that nutritious food gives you the best results for healthy body and is long lasting without any side effect. People who are doing excessive training like you do need some additional nutrients to fulfill the body's increased requirement. Protein supplements provide quick protein needed after gymming. If you buy a good branded protein powder, it might not have as bad effect as a cheap product. But still make sure most of your protein and nutrients come from natural food.

Uterine Prolapse - Things That Put You At Risk!

The uterus or womb is a strong structure that is held up by the pelvic muscles and tendons. In case that these muscles or tendons extend or get distinctly powerless, they are no longer ready to support the uterus, bringing about prolapse. Uterine prolapse happens when the uterus hangs or slips from its ordinary position, into the vagina or birth channel.

Uterine prolapse might be fragmented or complex. A deficient prolapse happens when the uterus is just halfway drooping into the vagina. An entire prolapse depicts a circumstance in which the uterus falls so far down that some tissue rests outside of the vagina.

It may be due to recurrence of Typhoid infection or may be other cause of fever like Viral fever kindly follow health advises given below: measure your temperature and tell me reading 1. Avoid exertion 2. Take tablet paracetamol 500 mg after food (If No Drug Allergy) as and when required for fever more than 99 f (maximum 3 tablets with gap of 8 hr can be taken in a day) for 3 days 3. Lot of fluids to be taken 4. Take proper diet homemade food like moong dal dalia, chapati etc. Kindly go for CBC test and consult physician for further management

Dear lybrateuser, - Do steam inhalation twice a day - Do warm salt water gargles three times a day - take tablet levocetirizine, 1 tab in the evening - take more of warm fluids, water, tea, coffee, milk ( mix 1/4 teaspoon of turmeric powder in a cup of milk & have it twice a day) - avoid all cold fluids - get checked up by a doctor as you may require bronchodilator medicines or nebulization.
