Inspite of operation or gall bladder removal , is there any treatment for complete removal of gallstones ?
No, it is because stones are formed due to diseased gall bladder. If gall bladder is left behind it will form the stones again.

hello. most likely it's an anal fissure. that's why pain and mild bleeding is there. usually conservative management with medicine and dietary precautions may heal fissures but sometimes surgery is required. you can consult online for medications and further queries. meanwhile avoid spicy food. drink lot of water and green vegetables. do sitz bath thrice a day. use laxative if constipation is there.

Stone has been detected in the gallbladder of my daughter aged 37 years having 2 kids. She has been advised to undergo surgery which we want to avoid. Kindly suggest the alternative treatment.

No other alternative to surgery. No medical management is helpful in reducing the stones. Better not to waste time in medical management.

If you are on this medicine for long, now you should change it as some advanced medicine are available which can control acidity more effectively than zentac. Rest is dietary modifications and stress free life will help you alot perticularly acidity.

I am 29 years old female and having burning sensation in anus after passing stool for the past 2 weeks. What should I do?

Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS), MS - Urology, MBBS
Urologist, Ahmedabad
Dear , I think your problem is anal fissure which is either due to severe diarrhoea or to passage of hard faeces. So you need to concentrate on constipation and treat that. Remember it is not a disease but a lifestyle problem.

Diet Recommendations for Crohn's Disease Flare

Diet Recommendations for Crohn's Disease Flare

Follow a low residue diet to relieve abdominal pain and diarrhea. If you have strictures, it is especially important to avoid nuts, seeds, beans and kernels.

Avoid foods that may increase stool output such as fresh fruits and vegetables, prunes and caffeinated beverages. Cold foods may help reduce diarrhea.

If you have lactose intolerance, follow a lactose-free diet. Lactose intolerance causes gas, bloating, cramping and diarrhea 30 to 90 minutes after eating milk, ice cream or large amounts of dairy. A breath hydrogen test may confirm suspicions of lactose intolerance.

If you have oily and foul-smelling stools, you may have fat malabsorption. Treat fat malabsorption by following a low-fat diet. Discuss these symptoms with your doctor or nutritionist.

Smaller, more frequent meals are better tolerated and can maximize nutritional intake.

If your appetite is decreased and solid foods not tolerated well, consider taking nutritional supplements (see section on recommended liquid supplements).
