As a rule hormones in birth control pills should not be taken for more than 6 months, due to cancer risk at age 50, our suggestion to every woman is, once family is complete, get iucd fitted as it can be removed if due to any reason, the woman feels that she is bleeding more. Some daring ones do opt for ligation but in that case the woman needs at least 1 month rest, as it may look like 1 stitch from outside but internally the operation is as good/ bad as an abdominal appendix operation.

Dear user. FERTILE PHASE is the phase of a female's menstrual cycle when an egg (ovule) is released from the ovaries. In humans, ovulation occurs about midway through the menstrual cycle, after the follicular phase. The few days surrounding ovulation (from approximately days 10 to 18 of a 28 day cycle), constitute the most fertile phase. So if you have ejaculatory sexual inter course from day 10 from the first day of period and to day 20, the chances of pregnancy are much more. There are many determinants of pregnancy. You should be sexually matured. Your partner should be sexually matured. The period of your partner should be in the fertile stage. Her egg and your sperm cells should healthy enough. Then her uterus should be capable to get conceived. If all these were satisfied, the pregnancy could be a result. Take care.

I am 40 years old man married just now. I want to do anal sex without condom with my wife. What precautions I should take? Explain me in details.

Actually anal sex is an unnatural way of activity and it can hurt your wife and will create problems when she defecates and can also cause piles or fissures and so avoid the type of sexual activity.

Hi doctor My sister is 33 year old she is having ovarian cyst and fibroid since 4 year can it be cured by Ayurveda treatment. She is been told to get operation.

MS - Obstetrics and Gynaecology
Gynaecologist, Ludhiana
Hi, fibroid & ovarian cyst can't be cured by any type of medicine but operation is not always required. Decision of surgery in both cases depends on many factors e. G. Size, location, symptoms etc. If you please send me reports then I can give you best possible advice.

Keep Hydrated

The simplest solution yet one of the most important. If you're not hydrated, your skin will show it immediately with a dull and tired looking complexion! Aim for 4 litres water a day to keep your skin glowing.
