Hi, My cousin is suffering with pleural effusion since 1-2 months he has taken akt 4 but he is not tolerating rifampicin so now we are giving him only ethambutol n isoniazid, planning to start rifampin once lft values get normal .is this correct treatment? please give me some advise.

Treating a Collapsed Lung

1. No it is not ok. You are on cocktail of so many medicines. 2. Can you come down to pune to correctly diagnose your problem and prescribe then proper treatment.

I have got cough and wheezing since one month n my Dr. Has suggested doulin rather twice n seretide twice a day n I even take asthalin respules nebulizer twice a day is this all safe n ok to take together. Please suggest.

Treating Cough (Adults)

Generally taken on empty stomach. Efficacy is decreased by 20% if taken after meals. Not a big problem if you hv taken after meals.

I took r-cin 300 tablets after breakfast is there any problem? Please suggest me.

Hi, Is montair lc/montair safe to be taken for 4-5 months? Does it have any affect on lungs. I was prescribed this medicine since my ige level was elevated and also had moderate cough. I had a history of pleural effusion 15 years back but thats about it. I had already taken a complete course. Will montair affect the lungs? Are there any side effects?

Yes, it can affect if TB involves urogenital tract. Get USG abdomen and Pelvis. Post X-ray pictures on my whatsup

Does tuberculosis affects periods. I am not having my periods since 2 months and I was a tb patient 1 years ago. My weight is 60 kg n now my tb is cure but again some symptoms are being visible.
