Yes you can have gulkand but have it in limited quanity. According to your height your ideal weight should be nearly 62 kgs. You are already obese. You can follow a good diet plan and regular exercise to loose weight.

Hello, Thanks for the query. I have gone through the details written. However, there is no specific relevant information, hence no comments can be given. There is no mention of his fasting, after food glucose levels, HbA1c%, weight, height, dietary pattern and extent of daily exercise and no name of the product being prescribed and dosage. Most of the drugs used in diabetes are invariably very well tolerated by most patients. Whether a person is allergic to any drug can only be seen if allergic rashes or any other reaction develops. Thanks.

Why pp sugar is checked after 2 hours of meal and how much time stomach should be empty to check fasting sugar?

MBBS
General Physician, Cuttack
Why pp sugar is checked after 2 hours of meal and how much time stomach should be empty to check fasting sugar?
You have to take a light dinner and check fasting blood sugar before break fast.10-12 hour gap after dinner is required. PP sugar is checked after 2 hour because it is the time required for the blood sugar to come to normal level in a nondiabetic person but it remains high for a diabetic patient
