Average weight is decided as per height. Lemon and honey experiment is not at all harmful. It would give you some much needed vit c but do not expect this to help you reduce weight. Diet full of fibers, eating less sugary/sweet food and doing regular exercise would be helpful.

I am 45 years old and have BP diabetic and have undergone angioplasty in 2011. I have been jobless last 10 years and small businesses I have tried my hand have failed miserably. I drink alcohol like crazy till I fall when I am too depressed. I am contemplating divorce as well as my wife of almost 20 years has started accusing me of nonsense. My father had committed suicide 5 years ago and my mother sold my ancestral property and vanished in thin air. What to do.

From what you describe, it appears like that even though you have a medical problem which you have barely fixed you continue to test your health in obviously dangerous ways. This is an indication that you do not comply with healthy ways and much more can be read from that. Now, whether the problems came first or your irresponsible behavior caused these health problems may be a contentious point. From this, I can garner that you may be contributing to the conflict with your wife to a large extent, after so many years of marriage, and now pushing for a divorce that may add more to your misery. With your father having committed suicide, which incidentally can run in families, you need to be very responsible about various things. My advice is that you drop the idea of divorce and sort out the differences with your wife together with the help of a marriage counselor, immediately. Then you must give up your drinking habit and if need be, admit yourself in a rehabilitation center to resolve that. You must get into a health regimen that will ensure good health and longevity. You must also look at getting some employment since the business deals failed ( I do not know how much of that was due to your attitude). Please take serious note of my suggestions even if it upsets you and take concrete action steps to reduce the stressful life you are leading right now. They have only one outcome if you continued to persist with it: total ruin and destruction that need not be named.

Regarding water intake in a day, one thing is up to the water loss in your body depending upon your nature of work Viz-sedentary, moderate and heavy Apart from it as onclimate, you can have 3-4 liters per day in summer season. Regular drinking of water 2-3 glasses nearly morning is very good to cleansing GIT system.

Hye. Thankyou for the query. It is possible to check contents in a lab if you are doubtful. But what will you do after that in case something is not right. Try to firstly check the qualification of the doctor. If he or she is a qualified ayurvedachraya chances of issues is less. You can confront the doctor and ask him regarding the reasons and contents of the medication. Always go to a qualified doctor whatever pathy you decide or want to follow. Get your mother to get her tests done on a regular basis so you are aware if there is something wrong or look for any side effects. Always be clear and open about your problems with the doctor and you are justified a proper explanation and information about a drug especially if it is not labelled.

Visiting Gynaecologist? 5 Questions You Must Ask

MBBS, MS - Obstetrics and Gynaecology

Visiting Gynaecologist? 5 Questions You Must Ask

No matter how outspoken you may be, something happens to us in a gynecologist's clinic. And though we have a million questions, most of them stay unasked. However, it is important to be frank and open with a gynecologist to ensure good sexual health. To make it a little easier, here are the answers to five embarrassing questions.

  1. Is vaginal discharge normal?: A little vaginal discharge is a normal occurrence in all women. This discharge is a way for the vagina to cleanse itself. The amount of vaginal discharge varies from one woman to the next and also depends on your menstrual cycle. It is very easy to differentiate between healthy and unhealthy discharge by merely looking at it. Normal discharge is clear, whitish or light yellow. If your vaginal discharge is excessive or thick and odorous and accompanied by itching, you should see a gynecologist at the earliest.
  2. Will hormonal birth control affect my libido?: Hormonal birth control affects each woman in a unique way. While for some it can cause weight gain, for others it can result in a weakened libido. This is because hormonal birth control suppresses ovulation and thus controls the production of natural hormones. If you feel your sex drive is being effected by your pills, talk to your gynecologist for alternative birth control techniques.
  3. How can you make intercourse less painful?: Sex should be a pleasurable experience for both partners. However, sometimes, the act of penetration can cause discomfort to women. This is mainly because of a lack of lubrication that results from not being turned on enough or nervousness. You could experiment with lubricants and sexual positions to make this more comfortable. Also, go slow and take your time enjoying foreplay to stimulate your body.
  4. Why is there an odor from my vagina?: Just because your vagina has a strange smell, it does not mean that something is wrong. The fluids in a woman's body are affected by a number of factors including her diet, hygiene, sexual activity and infections. Good hygiene habits can control most odor problems. If it persists, odor may be a sign of a yeast bacterial infection and should be shown to a doctor immediately.
  5. Why do I leak urine when I laugh or sneeze?: Many women after giving birth are subject to urinary incontinence. This is mostly due to weak pelvic floor muscles after pregnancy and a drop in estrogen in post menopausal women. Simple exercises can often help strengthen your pelvic muscles and hence prevent leaking. In more serious cases, a gynecologist will also be able to prescribe medication for the same.

No question is too silly or too embarrassing to ask a gynecologist. So, choose your gynecologist with care and ensure that you are comfortable discussing your intimate health with her. In case you have a concern or query you can always consult an expert & get answers to your questions!

When hCG levels in early pregnancy measures less than 1,200 mIU/ml, the hCG usually doubles every 2-3 days. There is normally an increase by at least 60% in the level of hCG every two days. When the hCG measures between 1,200 and 6,000 mIU/ml in early pregnancy, the hCG usually takes 3-4 days to double.

Sir I want to loose weight? Can I take prosup protein powder and replace one meal?
You can, but meal replacement is not sustainable, as you cannot do it forever. Also you may feel more hungry in the next meal and may end-up eating more Calories. Better take low carb natural meal like steamed veggies and soup.
