I have back pain for over 1 mont what should I do?
Kindly show me a photograph of the affected part. Rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Do hot fomantation. Paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck, back & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. You will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, contact me again. Do not ignore. It could be beginning of a serious problem.

Don't sit at a single place for than half an hour. And do abdominal n back exercises. Consult nearer physiotherapist doctor.

have small and frequent meals. take plenty of fluids. Say NO to fried and oily eatables and walk around . walking , mild exercises and Yoga are good measure to get over the problem of gaseous distension.

Hello, you can take homoeopathic medicines 1. Silicea 30 ( 4 drops in little amount of water) every morning empty stomach only one dose in a day for a week. 2.Berberis Aquifolium Q ( 10 drops in little amount of water) thrice a day for a week and revert. *clean your skin gently with a mild face wash removing all dirt or make-up. Wash many times a day with plain water. *Get an adequate amount of sleep. *Avoid touching your face with your hands or try to squeeze pimples,it may leave permanent scars and spread the infection. *Ensure that you drink10-12 glasses of water daily. *Avoid fried and spicy food. *Include fruits, raw vegetables and fresh vegetable juices in your diet. *Avoid harsh skin products.

Hi lybrate-user, below tips could help you start your weight-loss journey. 1. Never eat a snack out of a carton or a cover. Always use a cup or a plate to so you know how much you are eating. 2. Have at least one bright colored fruit and one bright colored vegetable a day 3. Take a small snack box to office with almonds, walnuts and other dry fruits to satisfy your cravings 4. Try to have your dinner by 8 so that you are not too hungry and also make healthy choices at dinner. 5. People who eat breakfast have a better success rate at losing weight. 6. Beware of zero trans fat and fat free foods as you might end up eating high sugar and carb containing foods. 7. People who are emotional eaters learn to identify the emotion that makes you eat unhealthy food and try diverting your mind to something else you love 8. If your plates are too big trade them off for a 9 inch plates 9. Replace your weighing scale with a tape measure. 10. Share your weight-loss journey with a family member or friend so that you are accountable to each other. 11. Green tea at least once a day will help you boost your metabolism 12. Sleep helps in repair and regulating your hormones. Sleep atleast 8 hours in a day. 13. Have fruits at least twice a day.

Dear Chandan, Gaining weight is as difficult as reducing weight. But if we know the right reason we can gain weight. Please share how is your appetite? What you eat mostly in your diet? How is your bowel movement? How is your sleep? Is there any stress in Life? What is oyur work profile? Are you taking any medicine for any problem? Have o=you undergone any thyroid profile? Please share the answers so that we can i diagnose the reason and advise you best herbal treatment. Till then take small pieces of ginger cut into slices and add sprinkle rock salt along with squeezing lemon juice. Lick or suck this ginger piece 15 mins before your meals thrice a day. Sir, Regarding the weight loose. I was 82 kgs when I was 50 but now running 54 n weight is about 72, sugar diabetes in border line, cholesterol seems little plus than the normal but it is in control, I can say. Exercises - use to walk minimum 10-15 minutes a day. So what could be the result of getting weight lost? Thank you for years quick response ahead.

Dear patient. You need some weight reduction diet & life style modification. Use chamomile tea (goodwyn) at morning with 2 biscuits. Breakfast must be heavy meal. Avoid sweets, fried food, junk food, salt. As you are diabetic do not be at fasting more than 3 hours. Take small amount of food at every 3 hours interval. Add fresh fruits, green vegetables in your diet. As your cholesterol border line do brisk walk for 30 min in a day at any time that will helpful for you. Do not use tobacco. Thanks.

Dear lybrate user we can very well understand your concern for rising temprature. The best way to tackle it is to keep yourself well hydrated by having lots of juices, soups, lemonade, coconut water, butter milk. And every time you go out try to use sunscreen at least 15-20 minutes before leaving. Hope this solves your query. Anything more then feel free to revert.

You are interacting too much about office work. You are neglecting your personal care. Everyone has personal office. Doctor has so many patients regularly. But always he takes very much care in all aspects. He does not confused. Doing work very systematically. He never takes his work into home. He relaxed when the work is over. He does not think about his patient's condition in home. Every day comes serious problems do or die situations. But he never take the situation in to home. Or never applied his personal status. It is professional life. So professional life is different from personal life. You are equating both professional and professional life status. Then it iscause of no sleep. It may affect on body also. So take rest when work is over. Relax very well in the middle of the work. Do not be tensed. Feel always comfortable. Be share your all feelings with your friends and family members. Be happy all the time. Do some good exercises. Practice yoga and meditation also. Ok all the best.

Generally, yoga is considered not good for yoga because it creates lot of strain on knee joint as knee bending takes place. Modify your yoga pattern and see a physiotherapist for knee specific exercise.

Weakness is a result of lack of physical or muscle strength. If you are feeling that extra effort is required to move your arms, legs, or other muscles, it could also be a result of any disease, illness and too much activity at one time and not taking the food to match the amount of physical effort you are doing. Sometimes low levels of minerals (electrolytes), such as potassium or sodium also result in body weakness. Other important reason could be the problems with your thyroid gland. Because your thyroid gland is responsible for regulating the way the body uses energy. A low thyroid level can cause fatigue, weakness, laziness, weight gain etc. And a high thyroid level can cause fatigue, weight loss, muscle weakness etc. Sometime because of stress you may feel disinterest in your routine works. Since the reasons for your weakness are not known, I shall advise the following - 1. Keep yourself hydrated. 2. Get extra rest for some days till you feel more energetic. 3. Avoid watching television for long hours. Indulge in relaxing activities. 4. Avoid stress and too much physical exertion. 5. Take a nutritious diet with more protein items in homemade food like soya, sprouts, dals, paneer, milk, seasonal fruits. 6. Do light physical activity, meditation and yoga. 7. Take one good multivitamin tablet after food for 7 days.
