I am unable to sleep from last 6 years properly. No mental stress, no problem due to lack of sleeping. Never taken any medicine due to this. My father was a drug addict and, I am 25, male. I am unable to sleep at night. I have to masturbate to sleep. If I don't do so, I am awake till morning and then I have to go for work. After that when I come back from work, I fall asleep for only one or one and a half hour. After 3-4 or on holiday. I sleep for full day, but I am unable to sleep in night. I don't want to take any medicine and never I have taken any medicine to sleep, nor I smoke neither Drink. I eat three to four times a day. What should I do? He was also not having that kind of problem. Earlier I used to work a lot, for around 16-18 hours for around 4-5 years. Now I work for 3-4 hours, but still unable to sleep.

I have lower abdomen pain since last one year. Sometime I feel cramp also. I am taking pain killer. Apart from this please suggest me what should I do?

BHMS
Homeopath, Raebareli
Please note that you should do a USG whole abdomen first to understand the diagnosis of the pain-in abdomen. If the pain is at the time of motions then it could be dysentery -- in that case do a Stool R/E done. Do not take pain-killer by yourself. Please note the following recommendation for your conditions: Enjoy a Cup of Chamomile Tea -- Pour boiling water over a teabag and cover your mug, letting it steep for 10 minutes. If using dried chamomile, place 1-2 teaspoons in a mug and cover with boiling water. Cover the mug and let steep for 15-20 minutes. Sip slowly. Use a “Hot” Pack-- Find a place to lie down, and rest the hot pack on your belly. It should be a comfortable temperature, but definitely warm. Do this for at least 15 minutes, or as long as you need to, reheating as necessary. For further queries get back to me.

Your problem of early discharge is known as premature ejaculation. Premature ejaculation is the most common sexual problem experienced by man. There are certain techniques, which can help you to stay longer. Kegel exercise is one of the very popular and effective techniques to control premature ejaculation. These are the exercises of pubococcygeus muscles (pc) muscles. A man can do these exercises anytime and anywhere and no one will even know about it. To identify the muscles of your pelvic floor stop your flow of urine next time you go to urinal. Contract the muscles tightly holding for 10 seconds i. E. Stop urinating in between. Do this thrice a day repeating 10 times. The pc muscles control the urine and semen and firmness of your organ during erection, so keeping them strong will increase ejaculatory control. Even while masturbating or doing intercourse you can practice stop and start i. E. Rub for few thrust then stop for a minute and start rubbing again. Just relax on this; it should go away with some time. I have successfully treated patient with pe in the past and hence I know what you are suffering from. There are many causes of this problem, it could be due to many reasons such as hyperthyroidism, it could be due to increased sensitivity of the skin around the sexual organ, excess masturbation habits, but the most common cause is psychological such as low self esteem, anxiety, depression and biological factors. People who have pe often complaint of erectile dysfunction too. The patients whom I have treated in the past with the same disorder have shown remarkable improvement within few days.

Hi Control of diabetes is not just with medications alone but with proper balanced diet, regular exercise and destressing exercises. Exercising everyday for atleast 30min a day is helpful. Diet: Have small meals every 2-3 hours. Avoid white rice, sugar, refined flour, oily foods, fried foods, Junk foods, bakery products. Eat lots of fresh vegetables and greens. Have 2-3 almonds and 1 walnut everyday. Increase your protein intake like 2 egg whites a day, paneer or tofu, channa, dal. soya. Talk to your doctor and Understand what type of insulin you are taking and adjust the insulin dose once in 3 days according to your blood sugar readings to maintain a very good control of blood sugars.

My question is it safe to have once a week?
Tazzle 10 sildenafil.
Sildenafil perse I usually don't recommend because its a temporary feeling of erection and at that time it can cause headache and flushed feeling of the body resulting in restlessness and if taken for many occasions than it can cause penile ulceration and main thing is that you might get dependent on viagra lifelong.

Diabetes - Decoding Most Common Myths & Facts!

Diabetes - Decoding Most Common Myths & Facts!

Diabetes is a chronic lifestyle disease that can affect any person at any age and at some level we all are aware about it. It is also characterized by the body’s inability to create or process insulin. Though it is a very common disease, there are a number of misconceptions and myths about it. Let’s take a closer look at some of these myths.

Myth1: Diabetics cannot eat sugar in any form
Fact: Diabetics do not necessarily have to live on a sugar-free diet. However, the amount of sugar being consumed needs to be highly regulated. Sugar is avoidable when the person’s blood sugar level is high but if the person has low blood sugar, a little sugar can help raise blood sugar to a normal level. A diabetic needs to have a well-balanced diet with plenty of fiber, fruits and vegetables and controlled amounts of carbohydrates, fats and sugar.

Myth2: Diabetes only affects obese people
Fact: The risk of diabetes is higher when it comes to overweight and obese people but this disease can affect thin people as well. A person’s family medical history, genetic makeup, age and ethnicity are other factors that could influence the risk of suffering from diabetes. Additionally, people living a sedentary lifestyle are more likely to suffer from diabetes.

Myth3: Diabetics need lots of rest and should not play sports
Fact: A number of well-known sportsmen are diabetic. Hence, there is no truth in the above statement. Regular exercise is a must for diabetics. This improves diabetes management and helps stabilize blood sugar levels. However, if you have been living a sedentary lifestyle, you cannot jump straight into high-intensity exercises. Let your body gradually get fitter and test your blood sugar half an hour before exercising as well as every half hour when exercising. This helps keep a check on your blood sugar levels. If you start feeling weak, take a break and have a light snack.

Myth4: Diabetics have to use insulin injections
Fact: There are two types of diabetes; type1 and type 2. People suffering from type 1 diabetes usually need insulin injections but people suffering from type 2 diabetes can usually manage the disease with medication. Paying attention to your diet, regular exercise and medication can also help reverse type 2 diabetes.

Myth5: Diabetes is communicable
Fact: Diabetes cannot spread from one person to another. Touching a diabetic or sharing food with them will not make another person diabetic as well. Diabetes can only be passed on genetically from parents to a child. Even in this case, the disease itself is not transferable. The child will only have a higher risk of developing diabetes. Thus, it is not necessary for a child born to diabetic parents to suffer from the disease as well.
