I am 29 years old. I do masturbate 2 times a week. Is it going to affect me in the family planning after marriage in the secretion of sperm. One of my life experience was that I tried to have sex but my penis wasn't becoming hard. Is it because of too much masturbation? Any meal suggestion for that. your help would be appreciated.

Unwanted or ipill are not foolproof and regular methods of contraception. Please use a better contraception. They are very high doses of hormones and they mess up your monthly menstrual cycle like in your case. It is very common to get irregular bleeding like you have now. When was you'd proper period before 31st August and did you ha s sex before that also? Also do a urine pregnancy test after hone itself in any case. Wait for your cycle to come back to normal. Till the use Condoms and please don't take any medicine without asking a doctor.

I am a 31 year old person, working in the I.T industry. I sometimes suffer from back pain near the waist. I avoid certain postures which doesn't put pressure on my hips to keep the pain at bay. But is there any permanent solution which will remove the pain forever and I can be comfortable in any posture without the fear of pain coming back to cause problems?

Hi thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. I am Dr. Akshay from fortis hospital, new delhi. You have mentioned backache as only problem. Since you are very young, if you have only localized backache with no other associated symptoms like radiating leg pain, numbness, paresthesias etc, and no systemic symptoms like fever, loss of appetite, loss of weight etc, my advice to you for initial 2-3 weeks will be: - to maintain proper posture while working and sleeping - if pain is more then you can take a short course of an anti-inflammatory medication like tab etoshine or even tab paracetamol which suits you - intensive physical therapy initially under supervision of a trained physiotherapist and then to continue at home - adequate calcium & vitamin d intake if levels are low in body - ice packs can applied if your pain is acute, then hot fomentation can be done at home - analgesic spray for local application like dynapar qps spray can be used and is easily available. - avoid lifting heavyweight/ acute forward bending in mornings etc if you do not feel better with these measures in 2-3 weeks time, we will need to evaluate you further in form of dynamic x rays to look for any instability as a cause for pain and some blood investigations to rule out any deficiencies etc. Since back pain has multiple causes, adequate posture maintenance is important especially at work place, also intensive exercises to strengthen your muscles and vitamin d supplementation which is deficient in around 9 out of every 10 individuals is the key to management. Do not hesitate to contact me if you need any further assistance.

Sir Mere Penis Ke Upar Chote Chote Pimple type kuch hain unka koi ilaj btao please.
If you've never had sex, little white bumps on the shaft of the penis may be pimples, a skin cyst, or ingrown hairs. These are common and they're nothing to worry about. Another condition that's normal and no cause for concern is pearly penile papules. ... Genital warts (HPV) also can show up as bumps on the penis.

Rotator Cuff - Surgical Options Of Treating It!

Rotator Cuff - Surgical Options Of Treating It!

Rotator cuff is the name given to four muscles and their tendons, which keep your arms in your shoulder sockets, allowing you to lift your arms and do day-to-day stuff like combing your hair, cutting vegetables etc.

The shoulder joint is a very important joint of the body and this is why any tear that happens in the rotator cuff can be devastating.

Causes

Tears can happen in rotator cuff due to a number of factors like injury and degeneration due to age. Tears that happen due to an injury to the shoulder are called acute. Degenerative tears are tears that happen due to degeneration of the tendon over time.

Common causes of degeneration are lack of proper blood circulation, which impedes the rotator cuff’s ability to repair itself. Repetitive stress is another cause where we stress the tendon by repeating the same shoulder motions again and again while playing games like tennis, cricket etc. and doing jobs that require us to extend our arms upwards a lot. Lifting heavy objects can also lead to tears.

Symptoms

Chronic shoulder and arm pain are good reasons for you to see your doctor. If you suffer from pain in your shoulder at rest, while sleeping on the affected shoulder or pain while lifting and lowering your arm, then there is no time to wait.

The doctor will do a physical examination by moving your arm in different directions. He may follow it up with X-rays and MRI to check how big the tear is in your rotator cuff.

Treatment

Once confirmed that you indeed have a rotator cuff tear, your doctor will start the treatment. The goal of any treatment is to reduce pain and make your shoulder joint work properly again.

Nonsurgical Treatments:

Nonsurgical treatments include rest, using of a sling to protect the shoulder and modifying your daily activities. This means you may not be able to do activities that cause shoulder pain. Your doctor can also prescribe pain and anti-inflammatory medicines. Strengthening and physical therapy bring up the rear of this type of treatment.

What you must remember is that nonsurgical treatment relieves pain and improves function in the shoulder, but does not improve shoulder strength. The size of your tear may also increase over time.

Surgery:

Surgery, which attaches the rotator cuff to your bone, is done if you suffer from continuous pain and symptoms over a year or so. If you have a large tear, conservative treatments will not work and surgery will have to be resorted to.

If you have been suffering from chronic shoulder or arm pain, waiting and watching is definitely not an option. You must visit an orthopedic surgeon at the earliest. Remember, if treatment is not started soon enough, your rotator cuff tear will get larger and will require only surgery.

Hello Lybrate user, lack of interest in work, socialization, dizziness, sleepiness, could be the symptoms of hypothyroidism or depression. I would like to suggest you thyroid function test to confirm diagnosis and treatment. Have healthy diet, drink plenty of water (8-9 glass per day). Avoid stress, mindfulness meditation for 10-15 mins and pranayam especially anulom-vilom for 5 mins would be helpful in stress reduction and to enhance positive thinking. Take homeopathic treatment for your complaints. It's safe, natural and holistic way of treatment. Natural homeopathic remedies strikes at the root of problem to ensure complete relief. In chronic case, medicine is selected on basis of thorough details of patient like medical history, causes, routine, temperament etc.; such well selected medicine gives complete cure without any side effects. Message back for consultation and guidance. Take care.
