May be there may be possible of metacarpal strain so do rule out with x ray of wrist joint and for the temporarily you can apply hot and cold water fomentation thrice a day for 15 min duration each time for 5 days and still pain continues do consult musculoskelotal physiotherapist or orthopaedician asap.

Mr. lybrate-user, Thanks for the query. Ingrowing toe nail is a problem faced by some. It has to be surgically removed. So please contact a local surgeon and get it removed. There is no other remedy. Thanks.

Hi, I am going to gym since 1 month, I used to take 2 scoops whey protein and 5 gms of creatine daily, from the last 4 days my back is paining at kidney place, is there any side effects to those supplements? Hello, you may be having headache because of stress/ refractory problems/ any ENT problem or may be Migraine Headache kindly follow advises given below: you can take(If No drug allergy) : 1. Tablet Crocin (Paracetamol 500 mg) one tablet after food when required for headache after food for 2-3 days (maximum 2 tablets with gap of 12 hour can be taken in a day) 2. Adequate sleep 6-8 hr in a day 3. Get check eyes for refractive error 4. We need to go for ENT evaluation to rule out sinusitis 5. Get BP checked 6. Regular physical exercise and meditation and yoga complete history of your headache for further management like duration, severity, aggravating factors/relieving/ triggering/ associated factor to reach diagnosis consult physician for further management.

From your symptoms I feel you are having sciatica. Sciatic pain can vary from infrequent and irritating to constant and incapacitating. Symptoms are usually based on the location of the pinched nerve. To manage new sciatica pain, you may find that certain positions and activities are more comfortable than others. The proper exercises from a physiotherapist will help reduce sciatic pain. The exercises recommended will depend on what's causing the sciatica. It's important to work with a specialist who has experience working with people with sciatica. It's also important to do the exercises exactly as directed. Here are some home treatments for sciatica which you can follow: -do not bend, lift, or sit in a soft, low chair; the pain will get worse. -try a cold pack to see if it helps the pain. If you don't have a cold pack, use a large bag of frozen vegetables; it makes a good first aid cold pack. -after the cold massages, try alternating with heat from hot bag. -you may feel better lying on your back on a firm surface with a pillow under knees. Another option is lying on side with a pillow between the knees to keep the back straight. Also, a recliner chair is helpful. -do activities one is able to tolerate. Best wishes.

No not at all that fatigue n uti connected it might be mentally. But due to excessive fatigue produce for that might be there are chances of pressure in urinary tract so might be due to pressure there is uti infection. N for for fatigue n indigestion there is present of back pain. So all your problem you need to clean your bowl medically.

Apply Hot Fomentation twice daily. Avoid bending in front. Postural Correction- Sit Tall, Walk Tall. Extension Exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times. Bhujang Asana – Lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily. Core Strengthening Exercises- Straight Leg Raised With Toes Turned Outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Back Stretching- lie flat, pull one of the knee forward to chest, hold for 3 seconds, then bring the other knee forward to the chest and again hold for 3 seconds. Then pull both knees towards the chest and hold for 3 seconds. Repeat 10 times each exercise twice a day. Do the cat/cow stretch. Get on all fours, with your arms straight and your hands directly under your shoulders; your knees hip-width apart.

I am having chronic problem of pain and stiffness in neck, knee & lower back mainly rt side s.i joint area for last few years .my latest blood reports are all normal .my MRI of Whole spine shows moderate cervical spondylosis. Mild lumber & dorsal spondylosis with disc dessication at L5-S1 BILATERAL RADICULOPATHY AT L4-L5 & L5- S1. Focal edematous changes in L5 inferiorly? Inflammatory spondylosis. 2. My MRI of S.I joints shows CORTICAL Irregularity & Erosion in the right half of paradiscal region at L5-S1 level with adjacent marrow edema & mild fluid RIM/inflammation in the rt paravertebral region also involving the rt neural recess. Possibility includes early infective pathology with other differential of Acute Shcmorl" s node formation. What my reports says? My rheumatologist says mri reports are okay and written case of LBA prescribe me painkiller. But pain is still there after taking physiotherapy & medicines. Now what shd I do to get relief Pls advice?

Avoid sitting Cross legged. Avoid Squatting- Quadriceps Exercises- Lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core Strengthening Exercise- Straight Leg Raised With Toes Turned Outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams Stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. repeat 10 times, twice a day. Sports Taping- stretch the tape from both ends and apply on the affected area

Keep in bind that high BP not only show effect on wife n also on baby. Care under obstetrician is important..wife should undergo daily/alternate day BP n fetal heart rate monitoring. Take complete bed rest ,take prescribed tablet in tablet ,have a watch of daily fetal movement of baby(around 10times in 24hrs) If u haven't done sonography with doppler,u should do it ,it will show ur baby's situation whether high BP affecting ur baby.
