All type of cholesterol is harmful? Or else Which are the useful cholesterol in food?

All type of cholesterol is harmful? Or else Which are the useful cholesterol in food?
Men ages 35 and older and women ages 45 and older be more frequently screened for lipid disorders. The lipoprotein profile includes: Total cholesterol LDL (low-density lipoprotein cholesterol, also called "bad" cholesterol) HDL (high-density lipoprotein cholesterol, also called "good" cholesterol) Triglycerides (fats carried in the blood from the food we eat. Excess calories, alcohol, or sugar in the body are converted into triglycerides and stored in fat cells throughout the body LDL cholesterol can build up on the walls of your arteries and increase your chances of getting heart disease. That is why LDL cholesterol is referred to as "bad" cholesterol. The lower your LDL cholesterol number, the lower your risk. If your LDL is 190 or more, it is considered very high. Your doctor will most likely recommend medicines in addition to making healthy lifestyle choices. After figuring your 10-year risk, your doctor will recommend a percentage by which you should try to lower your LDL level through diet, exercise, and medication if necessary. HDL Cholesterol When it comes to HDL cholesterol -- "good" cholesterol – a higher number means lower risk. This is because HDL cholesterol protects against heart disease by taking the "bad" cholesterol out of your blood and keeping it from building up in your arteries. A statin can slightly increase your HDL, as can exercise.

The affected person will go to great lengths to avoid the situation or object, typically to a degree greater than the actual danger posed. If the feared object or situation cannot be avoided, the affected person will have significant distress. Social phobia is when the situation is feared as the person is worried about others judging them. Social phobia and agoraphobia are often treated with some combination of counselling and medication. Pollution Alert! Did You Know Your Blood Group Can Increase Your Risk Of Cardiac Attack ?

With the pollution levels soaring in the city, each one of us is at risk of acquiring health problems. But can some of us are more at risk than others? Yes, indeed! Those of us, who have A, B and AB blood types are more at risk of getting a heart attack than the O blood type as per a report submitted by the American Heart Association Scientific Sessions 2017.

Presently, in India, the percentage of people who have O blood type is 37.12%, which is higher than the percentage of A, B and AB type. The percentage for A, B and AB type is 22.88%, 32.26% and 7.74% respectively.

So, what should you do to prevent yourself from high risk of heart attack due to pollution

  1. Stay indoors

  2. Wear a mask when you step out

  3. Shift your exercise routine from outdoor to indoor

  4. Keep yourself hydrated

  5. Consult your doctor for potential risks

Please understand that It is pretty normal for BP to rise in response to anger, stress, anxiety, fear, excitement etc and a rise in BP during such situations is not abnormal. In fact one of the most important part of keeping BP controlled is managing stress and anxiety. Your chest pain may also be a psychological response to your stress. But to re-assure yourself get a ecg, TMT and echo done, if they are normal and you only experience BP rise during stress situations, then please consult a psychiatrist for anxiety and emotional counselling and medical treatment and also do some meditation and yoga. Begin daily exercise for 30-40 mins, avoid smoking, alcohol and stimulants like caffeine and eat a healthy diet.
