Apply hot fomentation twice daily. Avoid bending in front. Postural correction- sit tall, walk tall. Extension exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times.

I am a 19 year old boy. For the last seven I am facing hairfall. Mostly while bathing or drying my hair with a towel. While bathing at least 10 hairs will fall. Please is this serious? I always oil my hair with coconut oil before bathing and use shampoo or conditioner every 2 week or something. What products do you recommend?

Premature greying is greying before the age of 30 yr, after that it is natural physiological process. There are various reasons involved in it. Genetic factor is on top, apart from that stress, nutritional factor, thyroid also adds up in it. It is important to check extent of greying and condition of hair follicle. Treatment is available for it. Diet rich in minerals, protein and iron is good for hair. Sprouts, beans, nuts, soya are good sources of protein. Green leafy vegetables will give iron. Drink 3 lit of water/day. Oil the scalp with jaborandi hair oil 3/week and wash it 3/week.

Hi lybrate-user Eat with your eyes and your mind Make sure your dinner table has a spread of colours like yellow, green, red, orange, white. Add a lot of different fresh seasonal vegetables, raw salads and herbs. This will not only be pleasing to your palate by providing a burst of flavour but will also give it an aesthetic appeal, so the meal doesn’t look boring and monotonous. While you sit to eat, do not just shove the food in your mouth and gulp it down. The idea is to go slow, and enjoy the entire experience, relish your food as you chew it properly to enjoy every flavour in every bite. Focus on what you are eating the texture, the visual appeal, the aroma of the dish. Eating mindfully will make it an enjoyable experience while assisting in better digestion, make you feel more fuller by avoiding overeating and prevent a lot of stomach distress like gas, bloating or acidity Take smaller portion Tips for quick weight loss \ blogs \ Just for Hearts Tips for quick weight loss \ blogs \ Just for Hearts Eating a smaller portion of food at a time helps in the breakdown of the food in an effective way so that the entire calories obtained from the food are used up by the body for all the bodily functions. When you eat a large meal, the excess energy which goes unused by the system gets stored as fat and causes weight gain. A good idea would be to use smaller plates so the plate looks fuller and psychologically makes you feel that you have eaten enough while eating from a larger plate makes you pile up your plate with more food which in turn makes you eat more calories. Fill up your stomach only up to 80% We have been raised to eat until we are absolutely full so we don’t feel hungry later. Either that or because traditionally Indian consider it a taboo to leave any food on the plates so we eat off the kids plates because he/she won’t eat anymore, also we have seen our moms finish the leftover paratha or grab an extra spoon rice even if they are not too hungry, just so that they don’t have to throw it away as they are usually the last ones to eat. Not realising how much damage we are doing to our bodies by eating more than what our body needs. However, it is better to stuff ourselves and only eat until we feel adequately full. Yes, you will feel hungry after few hours and that ok. It only means less pressure on your intestines and delaying the ageing process of the cells which can prevent heart attacks, diabetes and cancer. Eat small snacks every few hours. Having said that eating till you are 80% full will make you hungry for more, it is a good practice to eat 5-6 meals a day instead of the traditional 3 meal pattern of breakfast, lunch and dinner. Eat a healthy snack like a fresh whole fruit or nuts like almonds, walnuts, unsalted peanuts, pumpkin seeds, low fat curd or unsalted chaas, hard boiled eggs between main meals every 2-3 hours. This will help to keep you burning more calories throughout the day as the digestion process continuous to keep your metabolism up and running. Also, your body will thank you for feeling light and energetic throughout the day because of the regular supply of an array of nutrients and maintaining your blood sugar levels Have a light supper or dinner As they say, Eat breakfast like a King, Lunch like a commoner and dinner like a popper it is important to start the day with a filling wholesome breakfast to kick start your metabolism and taper down your meals as the sun goes down. Your last meal should happen atleast 3 hours before your bedtime so the body has enough time to digest the meal properly before you go to bed. If you eat a heavy meal too close to bedtime, the body cannot digest it properly leading to indigestion, acid reflux, disturbed sleep making you wake up next morning feeling sluggish and tired. As the day goes the body tends to slow down and to go into a repair and recovery mode to heal the body from the days stress and wear and tear. Also, since we are not physically active in the night time all the excess calories get stored as fat in the body Eat vegetables first Vegetables are full of fibre and when you consume them first, this fibre helps to cover whatever is eaten after and inhibits insulin spikes and the speed at which sugar is transported into the blood. Proteins such as fish, chicken, paneer or sprouts are harder to digest when they are eaten first and everything else eaten after would take time making you feel bloated. Raw vegetables contain a digestive enzyme that helps break down proteins. Eat more fiber Eating more fiber, makes feel fuller, can increase satiety and makes you lose weight. Make sure you eat about 3-4 servings of fruits and vegetables, raw or cooked throughout the day Reduce sugar as much as possible Tips for quick weight loss \ blogs \ Just for Hearts Tips for quick weight loss \ blogs \ Just for Hearts To achieve a flatter belly, make sure you have as low as zero grams of sugar. Opt for healthier natural sweetener such as honey, dates, dates syrup, figs but don’t overdo it. Add chopped strawberries or other fruits like apples, pear to your morning oatmeal to satisfy the sweet tooth. Adding a little cinnamon or ilaichi to your food and coffee or tea also add some flavour and helps to maintain your blood sugar levels Tea is key Green tea has zero calories and is loaded with antioxidants that helps to clear the system of any toxins and help in digestion of the food consumed. The catechin found in green tea have been proven to increase your metabolism even when you are not physically active which makes it an excellent alternative to your regular chai or other creamy beverages. It could be due to prickly heat. Let her take one tablet of levocetrizine at bed time ,apply Dermocalm/calamine lotion for few days,avoid sweating,take bath twice.Consult doctor if no relief

Symptoms of heart attack-- pain chest mostly central, severe distress or discomfort in chest, pain goes to throat as if someone is throttling the pt, pain may refer to arm (left side, sometimes to right arm and neck (mimics cervical spondylosis), sweating a lot, indigestion flatulence & urge to toilet (mimics stomach upset) and feeling of exhaustion & prostration.

We have to see the type of scar you have. If it is only pigmentation, chemical peels and certain creams will help. If other scars you may need different procedures. Based on your description, you might be having PIH only. It should come down with creams and certain peels if needed

Hello, this may be because of acidity/ indigestion/ gas you can take(if no drug allergy): Tablet Pantocid 40 mg before food once a day for 2-3 days. And follow care advises given below. Avoid food from outside, junk, fried, spicy fatty food take home made light food like moong dal, Dalia, chapatti also tell me associated symptoms like vomiting sensation, loose motion/ burning sensation in chest or any other symptoms are present or not? so that we can reach diagnosis. Kindly see a physician for further management

Mix clarified butter and sugar in equal proportion (around 1 tbsp of each). Eat this mix at least 30 minutes before your meal on an empty stomach. Consume it for one month. You will definitely see dramatic results.

*To control the oily secretion you should maintain your hormonal level. Because imbalance in hormone level causes excessive oily secretion on face. So do not take stress and do exercise daily such as running, jogging. Do long breathing pranayams daily for 10 minutes. • Drink 7 -8 glass of water daily. Apply rose water on your face daily for 5 minutes. * Take proper sleep of 6 to 7 hrs daily. • Use a face pack of fuller's earth (multani mitti) with rose water one time in a day for seven days. It removes toxins from skin. *You can apply cucumber juice or mixed with curd for 5 minutes and rinse with water.
