in those rare cases, formula feed is allowed. but breast milk is still most preferred. at least for first six months. you can not judge the status of immune system today. but my advise is to give healthy emotional environment along with nutrition. then only your baby will have strong immune system.

Hello, friends, I am Sheela Suhag Seharawat, Mentor Diet Clinic. We have been in this field for eleven years, meeting different kinds of people with a different kind of disease. Today, I’m going to discuss a healthy diet plan for students.

Jaise jo college going hai ya school going hai. Maximum parents ko bhi dikat aati hai ki unko kya khana chahiye ya bacho ko bhi nahi samajh mein aata ki unko kya apni daily routine life mein include karna chahiye. Toh uske liye mein aap ko kuch points batana chahoongi. Jaise hume sabse pehle students ko ek habit hoti hai ki morning time mein jaldi mein hote hai, jald baazi mein hote hai toh unka breakfast skip ho jata hai. So don’t skip your breakfast, have a healthy breakfast because aap ka sabse ek main meal breakfast ho jata hai kyunki uske baad ho sakta hai because of classes or because of aap ka busy schedule, lunch skip kar sakta ho but still breakfast pe aapko dhyaan dena hai. Agar aap healthy breakfast loge then the whole day you feel more active and more energetic, aap apne study pe concentrate kar sakte ho. Toh hume breakfast zaroor lena chahiye.

Second thing, try to include more variety in your food. Kya hota hai ki agar aap ek he type ki food lete ho toh uss mein humare nutrients itne healthy way se nahi ho pati. Toh aap jitni bhi variety include karoge apne food mein, utni he aap ko nutrients jyada milenge. Jaise aap more of fruits ke bajai, ek apple ya do apple ke bajai aap one apple, anar, plus seasonal fruits aap include kar sakte ho. Four to five different types of fruits every day aap ko include karna hai.

Next thing is that being a student hume stress hota hai, chahe woh studies ka ho ya woh marks ka ho. Toh use fight karne ke liye hume kabhi bhi kissi bhi junk food ka sahara nahi lena chahiye. Jaise habit hoti hai ki jaise he stress hoye hum ek chocolate le liya, chalo hum ek pastry khaane chale jaate hai ya patties le lete hai. Un cheezon ko hume avoid karna chahiye. Bajai ke hum uss time pe apne paas koi bhi handy healthy snacks agar aap apnea as paas rakh sakte ho. Jaise apne bag mein humesha carry a fruit so that kuch bhi aap ko iss type ki tension lage or you want to eat something, go for healthy snacks. Jaise diet chocolates rakh liya aap ne ya phir aap ne koi fruit rakh liya or if you are outside somewhere then go for some liquids jaise aap ne kuch lassi le liya. Yeh cheezein aap ke liye best hai.

Aur being a student aap ko concentration ki zaroorat hai toh uss ke liye aap ko liquid ke upar more concentrate karna hai. Jitna aap paani intake karoge utna he aap ka concentration, studies ke upar jyada concentrate kar paoge. Toh hume liquid jyada lena chahiye plus iss se aap apne aap ko dehydration se bhi baccha sakta hai. And hume anti-oxidants jyada chahiye toh uss ke liye aap fruits and vegetables aap apne diet mein jydada include kar sakte ho. Aur ek hota hai ki chalo hume kuch, as a student, hume kuch acha aur interesting bhi chahiye kyunki dil se toh hum hai he bacche, toh aap apne diet mein hafte mein ek cheat day zaroor rakho jaise poore week ka aap ko jo khaane ka dil kar raha hai, craving ho raha hai woh aap un dino mein kar sakte ho. Isse aap weekday pe apne diet ko healthy diet mein include kar sakte ho. Atleast hafte mein ek ya do din you can eat whatever you want to eat.

Being a student aap ko aisa nahi hai ki aap ko sirf meetha khaana hai, uske badle aap jo over sweet things include karte ho un cheezon ko hume avoid karna chahiye. Plus caffeinated ya aap ke junk food ke upar hume restrict karna chahiye kyunki who sab cheezein aap ko obesity ke taraf leke jayengi jo ki aap ke health ke liye theek nahi hai. And ek common feature hota hai skipping meals ki chalo humare paas time nahi hai, hum yeh skip kar dete hai, lunch skip kar dete hai ya dinner skip kar dete hai, don’t do this because ye automatically aap ke jo concentration hai, mind hai, uss par impact daalega. Aap meal skip karne ke bajai aap small meals in small intervals lo. Toh skip karne ki aadat aap ek dum apni schedule se nikalni hogi. Yeh kuch aap ke liye tips the.

Food Intolerance in Children - 5 Reasons Behind it

Sometimes, during consumption of certain food items many children get itchy throat, eyes, ears, asthma, sneezing, rashes, diarrhea and eczema. This can be due to food intolerance in children. It is a form of allergic disease in children. Every 1 out of 10 children suffer from food intolerance. These days, food allergies are becoming more and more common in children who are allergic to nuts, milk and eggs. In some cases it can also be life threatening. This condition is known as anaphylaxis. Milk and egg allergies are more common throughout the world.

Symptoms of food intolerance:

  1. Bloating

  2. Your bowels start becoming irritable.

  3. Stomach starts to ache.

  4. Cough and cold is a common symptom.

  5. Itchy skin rash

Causes of food intolerance in children:

  1. There are enzymes in your body, which help you to digest the food you consume. Some enzymes in your body are insufficient; which further causes food intolerance in children. For instance, lactose intolerance causes spasms, stomach aches, diarrhea and so on so forth.

  2. Food intolerance can also be caused due to chemicals, such as chemicals present in coffee, tea, cheese and chocolates.

  3. Some food products can also cause food intolerance such as undercooked beans containing aflatoxins can cause extreme stomach infections in children.

  4. Some children are also intolerant to certain food products which have salicylates such as majority of fruits, vegetables, herbs and also additives. Processed food contains a high amount of salicylates.

  5. Children can be allergic to antioxidants like artificial food coloring, artificial flavoring and preservatives.

What to do if you think your child has food intolerance?

  1. Take your child for a skin prick test. In this test, the skin is pricked with a thin needle and when the blood oozes out, supplements of different food products are put in that area. If that particular area becomes reddish and begins to itch, your child has allergy to that certain food product

  2. A blood test should be done. It verifies the level of lgE present in your blood and finds out if your child is suffering from food intolerance or not. If you wish to discuss about any specific problem, you can consult a doctor.

Avoid bottle feeding if doing. Give him semisolid to soft solid food at frquent intervals. Keep patience avoid force feeding.

You can continue to give babygesic or paracetamol drops every 4-5 hours for atleast 3 days and keep checking the fever. If fever goes beyond 3 days and if any high spiking fever like >102 degrees.

It's normal as 90% of males engage in that act but you should not do it excessively as it may hamper your routine work and also you should not do it in the public area. Try to engage in other mind diverting activities like reading, writing etc.

No diluted milk if top fed, start weaning with suji ki kheer, banana or chiku shake, daal. Add another meal after fifteen days. Please see your doctor to rule out any disease

My daughter is 2 month old. She is pre term baby (32 week. She is on breast feeding and formula feeding. From 7-8 day she bring out milk through her mouth nd sometime through nose. She also have too much Gas problem nd cry badly nd when gas pass she keep calm. Pls suggest me what should I do for these problems.

Keep her on breast milk feed exclusively till 6 months of age. By now she must have gain weight to about 3 kg which is if she is born at normal time of 40 weeks in womb. Bringing out milk is usually normal regurgitaion. Burping is solution for regurgitation and gas.

By birth, my son is suffering from tuberous sclerosis and due that he has so many issues like development delay, not able to speak, not social and almost all sign of autism. Please advice what treatment is available to recover from these issues. He is now of 4 year and we are sending him to play school so that he can mix with other kids. Hi, baby's head is warm usually when the baby is teething. It is normal, do not worry. However, Check for fever: That gives a much more accurate assessment of the body temperature. Your baby's body functions differently from adults. So, do not worry if your baby has a hot head.

The baby is 4 months old and drinks very less milk, during feeding she drinks for only 2-3 minutes and after that for many hours she doesn't drink. Just keep on licking her finger the whole day. And doesn't feel hungry.

U have not mentioned wt of baby. If present wt is about 6 kg n gaining wt about 25 gm per day you need not to worry otherwise consult pediatrician for not sucking breast.

I have taken amoxicillin cetrizine after that breast milk production is less. Plus suggest how to increase the production.

These medicines have no effect on production of milk. Best way to increase production, put baby on breast to suckle till breast becomes empty or baby is satisfied.

Consult your child doctor. Baby of 3 months does urine 7 -8 times a day but potty may be 4-5 times is ok but 8 -9 times is slightly on the higher side. Does he take outside food to eat or is only on mother's milk? If ony on mother's milk, check what you eat. Avoid heavy meals and also avoid heavy dinners. Check with doctor.
