My daughter is just 2 months old. She has a preference for putting her head towards the right side. While I turn it to the left every now and then, she keeps it there for a short while and turns back to her right. I'm now noticing a slight difference in the shape on the left and right. She doesn't like to use a horse shoe pillow and gets rashes with the mustard seed pillow. Will the shape of her head become permanent as it is now or will it change and get well rounded once she's sitting up and moving around more. I have received mixed responses to this, hence wanted to check.

Don't worry. Its because of the shape. Try to keep her head depends upon all sides. U can do one thing put some pillow or something which keeps it head opposite side. Also during day time when she awake keep bright colours toy or things on side left. So she keep seeing on that and rotate it to all side. She is just 2 months so not to worry about shape of head as head bones are still not fused which will fuse at around 1-1.5 yrs,but try this things if still shape become unequal then other methods are there.

Child weight is normal for the age, sucking fingers is a natural activity for young infants. Just relax nothing is wrong with child, continue breast feeding as usual.

I am a premature baby when I was born. So the nurse gave me a formulated milk instead of breast milk, so did I have any risk of disease when I becoming old.

Formula milk is designed according to babys needs, so you are not at any risk per say. It is quite helpful for premature baby as they dont have strength to take breast feeding which needs lot of efforts. When you gain weight, you can switch to breast milk, otherwise your mother can express breast milk and that can be given orally by syringe, so you wont have to fully depend upon formula feed and mother also starts getting more milk.

in those rare cases, formula feed is allowed. but breast milk is still most preferred. at least for first six months. you can not judge the status of immune system today. but my advise is to give healthy emotional environment along with nutrition. then only your baby will have strong immune system.

Breastfeeding may not necessarily come naturally to us. It is a good idea to get your facts right about breastfeeding before your baby is born, and also to seek help with establishing successful breastfeeding.

My child aged 6 years is having retina eye problem. Everything is ok, but he can't read from certain distance. All tests have been done. But, even erg test also failed to diagnose exact problem. But it has been diagnosed as retina problem. Probably small retina. It has been suggested another test scanning after 6 months. Is there any remedy for retina problems.

He is suffering from constipation.  he should be on a good fibre rich diet. Give plenty of water.  regular laxative if needed along with a good diet plan. As constipation is a chronic problem in most cases and most common cause is habitual constipation.  You must ensure a regular bowel time after a drink irrespective of passage of stool. He should be sitting for sometime say 10_ 15 minutes in a fixed time daily in a Indian style toilet. She appears  to be a fussy eater. Most importantly you need to be patient with her. Don't shout or scream while feeding her. Try to make her feeding time fun or playtime. After not giving any food for 3 hrs at least make him sit with the food he likes (solid foods not pastes or liquids) with spoon and katori or fork. Let him at least play with the food for some time. If he likes milk a lot then try to give solid like plain rice, oats. Chatu. With the pediasure You can have a deal with him. He will take 1 sip milk and 1 bite of something  This way he will learn to chew Threptin  biscuits are good to taste and are rich in protein (casein) Avoid giving him chips fast food Makes small pieces of food  and ask  her to try just 1 bite. If he likes the taste she will have another. If he likes chicken. Give him chicken in different  ways. Introduce him to egg. Boiled or omelette whatever he likes. Play with him till he feels tired. Playing running will improve digestion. Don't loose temper You can give him  one egg a day Cucumbers made into small pieces will help  with problem of flatulence. Children have to deal with new  food, new habits. So they act out. Do not get flustered if he criesmakes a scene. Sit quietly, go to another room, ignore him. He will learn that bad behaviour  will not allow him to get her own way. I know it's very difficult but keep trying as that's the best you can give him. Pain  abdomen  may be due indigestion earmarked, gastritis. Good hand hygiene: Regular nail trimming Washing hand after each toilet visit. And before taking any food in any form Also take care of drinking water quality. Test Adviced: CBC with AEC Stool and urine R/E, M/E USG abdomen Share the reports if any Kindly do the follo You can check out the Health blog I manage with my wife. It has many helpful tips. Give him exclusive breast milk up to the age of 6 months. No formula milk. At night baby must be taking mother's feed thus satisfied but in day time baby may be in need of mother's hug. Babies are also emotional. Other common reason of cry is uncomfortable conditions.

Both medicines should not be used either individual or in combination. Paracetamol is safer. These medicines are not useful in cough or cold unless there is fever.
