Treatment of irregular periods depends on the cause and your desire to have children in the future. Irregular periods can be caused by many different things. Changes in your body's level of the hormones estrogen and progesterone can disrupt the normal pattern of your period. That's why young girls going through puberty and women approaching menopause commonly have irregular periods. Other common causes of irregular periods include: ? Having an intrauterine device (IUD) ? Changing birth control pills or using certain medications ? Excessive exercise ? Polycystic ovary disease (PCOS) ? Pregnancy or breastfeeding ? Severe scarring (adhesions) of the lining of the uterus, a condition known as Asherman syndrome ? Stress ? Overactive thyroid or hyperthyroidism ? Thickening of or polyps on the uterine lining ? Uterine fibroids Turmeric Being a warming herb, turmeric is also considered helpful in regulating menstruation and balancing hormones. Its emmenagogue properties help stimulate menstrual flow. Moreover, its antispasmodic and anti-inflammatory properties relieve menstrual pain. ? Consume one-quarter teaspoon of turmeric with milk, honey or jaggery. Take it daily for several weeks or until you see improvement. ? You can also take turmeric in supplement form; consult your doctor for proper dosage

My wife has been gaining weight after her second delivery, so how can I control her weight by taking systematic diet....
To lose weight, you have to maintain an input-output ratio. Whatever food you eat contains the input calories which gives you the output calories in the form of energy. If your input calories is too much, you are likely to put on weight. The best way to lose weight is to exercise or spend the additional calories accumulated in your body in the form of fat. The other most important thing is to eat wisely. Try to cut down the excessive calories you are eating and make sure whatever you eat is healthy. Some tips to lose weight - 1. Have more fruits and vegetables than junk food and juices. 2. Avoid sugar as much as you can 3. Exercise 3-4 times a week. 4. Have an early dinner, preferably before 8 p. M. 5. Do not starve yourself. Eat small meals 5 times a day. 6. Have barley soup in dinner and avoid rice at night. 7. Drink lots of water daily.

1.Low-fat milk is recommended. Boil milk before drinking. Drink it warm. This makes it easier to digest. Do not take milk with a full meal or with sour or salty foods. Add a pinch of turmeric or ginger to the milk before boiling it. This helps to reduce the kapha increasing qualities of the milk. 2. Lighter fruits, such as apples, oranges, grape fruit, pineapple and papaya and pears, are recommended. 3. Sweeteners: Honey is excellent for reducing kapha. Reduce the intake of sugar products, which increase kapha. 4. Beans are recommended. Nuts should be avoided. 5. Grains such as barley, chickpea and millet are recommended. Do not take too much wheat or rice, as they increase kapha. 6. Spices are recommended only in moderate quantities. 7. Vegetables such as potaotoes and sweet potatoes should be avoided as they can cause weight gain. 8. Follow a lifestyle that will not aggravate any dosha. 9. Negative feelings like stress and tension should be avoided. Do not undertake physical or mental work beyond your capacity. 10. Limit the use of contraceptives. 11. Follow an active lifestyle, yet the exercises should be according to one's capacity. Both, excessive fasting and overeating are harmful. 12. Smoking, drinking alcohol and using narcotics aggravates menstrual disorders.

I am age 23 suffering from pcod problem and irregular periods and so m becoming fat. Can you please suggest some solution.

BAMS
Ayurveda, Ambala
You should treat pcod by these best methods- * get up early in morning and fo meditation regularly. You can do long breaths while closing your eyes in a peaceful environment. You can also do anulom - vilom pranayam at least for 5-8 minutes. It can make your hormone level balanced for regular periods. * avoid taking too much stress. Take a walk for atleast 8-10 minutes daily to calm down stress. * take a balanced nutritious deit with vegetables, fats, protiens and carbs. * avoid high calories food like sweets, fast food, excess milk products. As they make you overweight and make your disease more severe. * you can take dashmoolarisht 2 teaspoons mixed in a glass of water once a day for 2 months atleast. It make your periods regular definitely.

This is very normal and let's talk about why.  Ejaculate (the stuff that comes out when a man ejaculates) is made up of a lot of different things.  One of it's components is sperm.  In a normal male ejaculate, there are anywhere between 20 and 400 million sperm.  All you need to get pregnant is one.  What normally happens after intercourse, is that a lot of the ejaculate does leak out.  Some of it, however, remains in the back of the vagina (in the posterior fornix) and an even smaller amount makes it's way up through the cervix, into the uterus and down the fallopian tubes.  It is here, in the fallopian tubes, that the sperm and egg meet.  So, the bottom line is that you don't need to lie in bed with your legs up after intercourse to get pregnant and the fact that semen is leaking out afterwards, doesn't decrease your chances of conceiving. Recommend me if you are satisfied with answer.
