I suggest you follow the below for your condition: Take Mag Phos 12x - thrice daily for next 2 weeks and update. Also do x-ray of the affected area. Heat and Ice Packs. Heat and/or cold therapy helps relieve most types of low back pain by reducing inflammation. Often patients use ice, but some prefer heat. Both may be used alternately. Hi, I am having ligament pain issue in my right leg ankle from past 6 months. Consulted Arpho and physiotherapy but did worked out. Please help

BPTh/BPT
Physiotherapist, Hyderabad
Ligament injuries usually take 8-14 months to be healed completely provided you don't disturb the process by excessively using that part of the joint. Use of ankle brace and ample rest should give temporary relief. Ultrasound therapy sittings 3 times in a week over a period of 3-4 months should help with healing of the ligament.

It may be because of meniscus tear or ligament injury. So you feel any click inside knee or instability during running or walking on uneven ground? Do quadriceps and Hamstrings strengthening. Do cycling exercise.

Hi Thanks for your query and Welcome to Lybrate. I am Dr Akshay from Fortis Hospital, New Delhi. The joint pains could be due to inflammatory issues . Can you please tell which joints in your body are involved? Also is there any associated stiffness also present, do you have other symptoms like swelling in affected joints, skin redness or any other s/s of inflammation also present? What investigations have you done till now and what management has been done for the existing problem? Do not hesitate to contact me if you need any further assistance. Dear lybrate-user according to your mri scan, main problem for you is arthritis of facet joints. Mild disc bulges are not causing any pains (which will be leg pains) as your main problem is back pain - options being physiotherapy, facet joint injections as part of pain management. Swimming and pilates excersizes. We can also try radio frequency ablation of the facet joints to relieve symptoms. No surgical indication at present time.
