I am a 23 year old guy. I have been experiencing backache from past few days. It starts when I wake up in the morning and stays throughout the day varying in magnitude. The center of the pain is on the back near shoulder, which affects my left hand. It pains dearly. I took some pain killers too. It tends to reduce but returns back after a few hours. I don't know if its a muscle pain or if I am having any problems with the bone there, as when I move my left arm ,i can hear the slight unusual sound of bones, you know when they rub against each other. What should I do?

If it's temporary pain due to strain to the muscles (bad posture can be one of the common reasons) then you should do well with rest and a little bit of warm-up and stretching exercises. Hi I can understand your problem 1) avoid activities that make your symptoms worse 2) apply ice packs 3) start physiotherapy treatment as electrotherapy will reduce pain inflammation 4) exercise and mannual therapy will help in painfree movement. Best wishes.

I m 28 years old male. My weight is 54 kgs. My height is 5.5 ft. I am having severe pain in hip joint since more than one year. And sometimes this pain even comes to my foot and then it is impossible to walk even a step. Kindly suggest the solution for the same.

If the pain is in the back of the hip the problem is likely to be a disc issue. If the pain is in the front of the hip, that is in the groin region it could be a of the hip joint. Get xrays done for the hip joint and lumbar spine and mail them to me in a private message.

Hello knee pain is not a major problem to you unless it is affected by some causes. Try to find out the cause behind after investigation. If its normal then take knee cap be used 8 hrs daily. Have massage of rumatil oil or orthofit oil. Take pain killers as required. The pain will come to end.

Hi , the pain in the right leg n heel can b referred from the back. U may or may not hav back pain. Consult a mckenzie clinician in your area n gt your husband treated as the prob can increase n might b vry intense. Its an international method of assessing pts wid similar probs n help to gt rid of pain. If any help u require gt back to me.

Proper diagnosis is essential. Most probably she has osteoarthritis. Get X rays of knees AP view while Standing on single leg ie Right leg, lateral view of knee and skyline view of patella. Same x rays for opposite side are helpful for Diagnosis. Review after X rays. Or visit some knee specialist. Dr Prashant Parate. Shoulder and Knee specialist.

Apply Hot Fomentation twice daily. Avoid bending in front. Postural Correction- Sit Tall, Walk Tall. Extension Exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times. Bhujang Asana – Lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily. Core Strengthening Exercises- Straight Leg Raised With Toes Turned Outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Back Stretching- lie flat, pull one of the knee forward to chest, hold for 3 seconds, then bring the other knee forward to the chest and again hold for 3 seconds. Then pull both knees towards the chest and hold for 3 seconds. Repeat 10 times each exercise twice a day. Do the cat/cow stretch. Get on all fours, with your arms straight and your hands directly under your shoulders; your knees hip-width apart.
