I am suffering from lower back pain since from last two years, I unable to walk even 200 meters, unable to stand in one place more then five minutes, add to here by that, since from three months I got acute knee pain in right leg, and also overweight.

Kindly show me a photograph of the affected part. Rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Do hot fomantation. Paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck, back & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. You will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, contact me again. Do not ignore. It could be beginning of a serious problem.

Hi I can understand your problem 1) avoid activities that make your symptoms worse 2) apply ice packs 3) start physiotherapy treatment as electrotherapy will reduce pain inflammation 4) exercise and mannual therapy will help in painfree movement. Best wishes.

Find a mattress with back support. A good mattress should provide support for the natural curves and alignment of the spine. Medium-firm mattresses usually provide more back pain relief than firm mattresses. -do not perform activities that involve heavy lifting or twisting of your back -avoid bending forward and sitting in a place for long time -stretching and strengthening exercises are important. -follow the sleeping posture what other doctor suggested.

Apply hot fomentation twice daily. Avoid bending in front. Postural correction- sit tall, walk tall. Extension exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times. Bhujang asana -- lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily. Core strengthening exercises- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day.

Seems you r suffering with post chickengunia symptoms. Take surplous amount of fluid. As d fever pass of take hot & cold fomentation alternatively. And do some. General active exercises for multiple joint. Better to visit near by physio for maximum relief.

Before running do stretching exercise then do nw do rest tk hot and cold pack and apply pain relief ointment avoid strain and long standing. After relief do stretching exercise in daily routine. Tk calcium supplements.

Every day I used to run on treadmill at my gym. But I got closed for renovation purpose. So from last week I am running in a park having track made of locking tiles. If you r running on block tiles use shoes with good cushions or else stop running on blocks n start running on ground or grass surface. Running on road too can cause same problem.

I am 42 years old I have pain in my fingers joints and toe joints my uric acid level is 5.8. How I can get rid of this problem?

It needs to be investigated. Rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Physiotherapy usually helps any way take paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days you will need other supportive medicines also. Hello Doctor. I was feeling a pain in my shoulder joint for a few days and I was advised to get my uric acid tested and the report showed 6.5 unit. I want to know is it normal or above normal. Also I would like to state that I am into moderate weight training (body building) and consume moderate protein everyday. SCAPULAR EXERCISES 1. Thera-Band Shoulder Scapular Retraction- Grasp the band between your hands with slight tension. Keep our elbows bent 90° and pinch your shoulder blades together. Hold & slowly return. 2. Thera-Band Shoulder Shrug- Stand on the middle of the band and grasp both ends by your side, taking up the slack. Keep your elbows straight and lift your shoulders upward. Hold and slowly return. TIP: Avoid bending your elbows to complete the motion.

Quadriceps Exercises- Lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain

Mr. lybrate-user, for chronic pain, you should take physiotherapy session and do lower back strengthing exercise. Take heating in the painfull region. And yes you can take warm lemon water on the morning. It's good for health.

Always make sure that you use the therapeutic hot agents when the injury is in the chronic stage. They can also be used prior to physiotherapy or exercise to decrease muscle tension and increase flexibility.

Back pain in pregnancy is common and is due to ligament laxity and postural changes which is normal in preganacy. These are our bodies mechanism to accept an uncomplicated labor. Only if its affecting your daily routine you need to consider treatment for the same. If you are managed to gain wait and eat properly, no need to treat the vomiting as well as it is due to the normal hormonal changes in your body. Happy motherhood. Get blessed with a healthy baby.
