I am a 45 year old male, I have diabetes since 2000 and now I become very thin and weak. My sugar level is very high....
You need to start ayurvedic medicine along with your allopthic medicine to control blood sugar. Plus you need to change your food habits. For a start reduce the qty. Of water you drink in 24 hrs to a max of 1 ltr. Have water in sips & not in gulps. Sugar is a disease of water metabolism. Ayurveda treats it differently. Please consult privately for detailed prescription of ayurvedic medicine & food system.

Hi, I always fell pain in My brain(head) .So please help me. Please suggest me something.

Hi, I always fell pain in My brain(head) .So please help me. Please suggest me something.
A headache can be a sign of stress or emotional distress, or it can result from a medical disorder, such as migraine or high blood pressure, anxiety, or depression or tension headache. It can lead to other problems. People with chronic migraine headaches, for example, may find it hard to attend work. Headache may result from a deficiency of a particular nutrient or nutrients, especially magnesium and certain B vitamins. Nutrient deficiencies can be due to a poor quality diet, underlying malabsorption issues, or other medical conditions. Treatment- A number of steps can be taken to reduce the risk of headaches and to ease the pain if they do occur: 1. Apply a heat pack or ice pack to your head or neck, but avoid extreme temperatures. 2. Avoid stressors, where possible, and develop healthy coping strategies for unavoidable stress. 3. Eat regular meals frequently, taking care to maintain stable blood sugar. Don't be empty stomach 4. Exercising regularly and getting enough rest and regular sleep contributes to overall health and stress reduction 5. Use oil for head massage if above things doesn't help then you need to consult a good homeopathic doctor so that proper investigations and case taking is to be done and better treatment will be started as soon as possible. For further help regarding homeopathic medicines, contact us.

Please sir, give me solution for bent penis .Due to excessive masturbating my penis bent to left side from 1 year ago.
Slight deviation in the shape of penis is normal and doesn't interfere with your sexual performance. Moreover its a myth that masturbation affects the shape or size of penis. Ayurveda treatment can partially cure your problem.

Mr. lybrate-user, Thanks for the query. In diabetes if a person has high blood glucose then a lot of it is excreted in the urine (glycosuria). This leads to loos of energy as well as loss of weight. Since you have not mentioned actual blood glucose values, it si difficult to comment. Ideally when diabetes is well controlled fasting glucose should be < 100 mg, PP 150 to 160 mg & HbA1c& < 6.8. Thanks.

My calcium level in blood is 7.8. What should I do to increase calcium level? My age is 19.

My calcium level in blood is 7.8. What should I do to increase calcium level? My age is 19.
What made you to do calcium levels, that is important rather than increasing the levels. I is always better to see a qulified doctor with report rather than asking how best you would increase the levels. Any how take enough milk ,milk poroducts cabbage greens ,finally routine calcium tablets you can take to inbcrease the levels.

Recently read that researchers believe certain foods might cure Alzheimer’s disease. Is this true? If so, which foods do this and how much would you have to consume to get the benefits?

MD - Psychiatry, MBBS
Psychiatrist, Solapur
There are certain foods that can help in avoiding onset of alzheimers dementia. Foods containing high levels of anti oxidants and omega acids are beneficial in general for nervous system. But in case of advanced cases of alzheimers, along with healthy lifestyle and good food habits, medications are necessary. Currently there is no evidence of complete cure of alzheimers either by medications or with use of any particular food items. Currents medications however prolong the progress of illness and improves quality of life for the patients.
