Hye. Thankyou for the query. There is no problem taking honey lemon water. It will help flush out your system, boost your immunity, keep skin hydrated and provide some antioxidants. Avoidance is needed only if you have a medical condition that calls for a restriction.

This could be a disc related problem. Use ls belt, do hot water fomentation. Avoid continues sitting for a long time, bending forward, lifting weight. Wait for 4-5 days. If your problem is not improving then consult to a doctor to diagnose it.

Doctor my 16th day follicular study reports shows that the left ovary- no progress, right ovary- 22. 1*23. 2mm, et 11. 2 mm, and there is no free fluid. Can you pls explain about my report doctor and also I have some questions, kindly pls answer to this also. When is my ovulation day? can I conceive this month? pls help me doctor am ttc for nearly 1 year.

It shows that no development in folliclesin left ovary but r. Ovary is normalwith normal follicles. It shows that although you r having some problem in yr l. Ovary but it doesnot mean that you cant conceive. You have normal chances of conceiving.

My period cycle starts on around 9th of each month and lasts for 4-7 days normally. I had viral fever and throat pain last month and I had to take many medicines (paracetamol, ibuprofen, zifi 200 and amoxicillin) for recovery. As a result when my period started on 9th April, it kept on going till end of April. I had no spotting on alternate days in month end and I thought that everything is fine but now I have full flow again. It seems that next cycle has preponed. I am in UK and I visited the health centre and doctor performed finger test, pregnancy test and smear test. All seems fine so far but don't know why cycle being irregular. Also, I noticed some dark color stool few times. I have blood test and ultrasound appointment on 10th and 28th May respectively. Could you please tell me what all these symptoms tend to? I am afraid that this much blood loss which is running for more than 20 days can make me much much weak. Please advice on dietary habit as well. Also, please suggest on exercise routine. I am a yoga lady but this time I started gymming on month end which I had to stop once I had full flow again. Should I not go to gym during periods. I just do running and light exercises. No weight lifting or heavy stuff.

Menses are not meant to be very regular. But what you have suffered, I e bleeding for almost 20 days is abnormal. The infection has nothing to do with it. But may be coincidentally you had a weak lining of the uterus which was shed over days and hence the bleeding for 20 days. Ideally no menses should alst for more than 5-7 days. And one must visit a gynecologist to get checked. In patients who have excess bleeding, in india at elast the doctor would have prescribed some medicines to stop bleeding and then put you on hormones if required. The blood loss is making you weak. But why did you allow it to go on for 20 days? surely you could have seeked help before that. Also in nhs scheme they take a long time to do things, I presume. In india by now your doctor would have already done the blood tests, hormone tests, sonography etc. But nevertheless, do these tests and let's hope the results are ok you can continue the gym and yoga is it does not tire you. Do cardiovascular and toning exercises on alternate days. Take a weekly off from gym. Meet a dietician and chart out a diet to account for your exercise related energy spend in the gym.

Hello Dr. m married from 10 years I have one baby boy 8 years old after six months of my delivery I got pregnant again and I had an abortion by pills which was suggested by my same gynae Dr. Now after 8 years I had my 2 abortion on 19 December 2015 by dnc because it's 2 months of pregnancy I consult many drs they suggest me dnc only. From March onwards my tummy N thigh area slightly increased and from may month m suffering from severe gas N constipation problem. What should I do now pls suggest I am so tensed. Before my dnc m fit N slim now I become lazy N sick. I go for walk daily in morning for 1 hour but my tummy N thigh is same as it is not large but not ok. My gas problem is getting severe day by day. Is dnc is the reason for my increased tummy N thighs or gas N constipation. I can't understand what is happening with me. Pls help N suggest me what kind of food and lifestyle should I follow to become slim n active again. Pls help thanks and regards.

Pay close attention to your food choice. ·        Eat less carbohydrate food sources like chapatti, rice, noodles, pasta, bread etc as they help in gaining weight and storing fat. ·        While having lunch or dinner eat vegetables and dal to fill your stomach rather eating lots of chapattis or rice. ·        Have a healthy breakfast like poha, idli, upma, plain dosa, oats, dalia or khichdi with vegetables. ·        Eat a balance diet including good quality proteins like: fish, lean chicken and eggs. If you are a vegetarian then include skimmed milk, low fat paneer, butter milk, soy bean or soy milk in your diet. ·        Avoid ghee, butter or vanaspati. Prepare your diet with vegetable oil like sunflower, safflower soybean or olive oil. ·        Eat plenty of salads. ·        Eat fresh fruits including apple, orange, pineapple, papaya, sweet lime, berries, guava, watermelon, mask melon etc. ·        Avoid eating outside junk and fried foods like pizza, pasta, roll, burgers, cakes, chocolates and cookies. ·        Have an early dinner. The earlier the better, giving your system more time to digest the food. ·        Avoid cold drinks/alcohol as they add empty calories to your diet. ·        Avoid fat enriched milk products like cheese, sweets, full fat cream etc. ·        Drink 3 liters of water in a day. ·        Try to have less sugar in food and beverages. ·        Try to drink 2 cups of green tea in a day as green tea helps in weight loss by aiding digestion. ·        Avoid red meat like mutton, beef, lamb or pork. ·        Eat sprouts or roasted chana, whenever you feel hungry. Kindly get your CBC ESR done and revert.

Mr. lybrate-user, Thanks for the query. The information provided is very general. There is no specific detail about blood glucose levels, (fasting & PP) & HHbA1c%, BP readings, lipid profile. There is no info weight, height extent of daily exercise and dietary pattern as well as medication with dosage. Unless all the relevant details are given, there is no way to make any suggestions. As regards providing energy, if blood glucose is well controlled with fasting < 100 mg, PP 160 to 170 mg & HbA1c% <7, then energy level usually remains quite well. There is usually no need for additional energy drinks. However if he does take eggs then 2 eggs daily should be able to provide a good supplement. Thanks.
