Give pressure the dipping point on the portion between the thumb and the index finger on the back of the palm. Press and release for 15 times where the pain is more. This will solve the problem. Further do some wrist rotation exercise. Report after 5 days.

Quadriceps exercises- lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core strengthening exercise- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day.

Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. SPRING BEDS, FOLDING BEDS OR THICK MATRESS ARE HARMFUL Use no pillow under the head. DO HOT FOMANTATION. Paracetamol 250mg OD & SOS x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab OD x10. Do neck, back & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. You will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, contact me again.. Do not ignore .It could be beginning of a serious problem.

I have an upper left back pain that has been coming and going for about a year and a half now. It extends from the upper left trapezius muscle and I feel it on the vertebra. It comes at least once a day after standing for about an hour and I have to lie down on it and apply pressure on the muscle and the vertebra to get relief but that does not make it go away. I have also been taking ibuprofen almost daily now but that did not help. Please help me.

Hello lybrate-user, only putting pressure is not going to help you. Start doing stretching exercises for upper back everyday for 10 minutes minimum, so that the upper trapezius and spinal muscles are completely replaced and do not cause any discomfort.

Good morning lybrate-user as you told you are suffering from shoulder pain and it started after doing your gym exercises it can be because of improper warm up so prior to your gym sessions please do proper warmup proper stretching exercises and look after the way you are lifting you should increase is gradually so you can avoid any type of injury if there is any tenderness in your shoulder apply ice pack rest for a week and then restart your exercises thank you.

Your rotator cuff muscles are weak probably first go for shoulder rehab to a gud physiotherapist and then start playing also take calcium and glucosamine daily.

Kindly show me x-rays of your knee. In the mean time sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Do hot fomantation. Paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck back knee & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. For emergency treatment contact your nearest hospital or family doctor. I am 78 and have a problem with my right knee. I can not afford a joint replacement. My both legs have developed black spots with severe itching. Blood tests are fine. Is there any cheaper solution? 8 years ago I had taken the magnetic treatment Cytotron but this too was not o much help. I am on thyronorm 100 mcg, Plavix and Ecosprin 75, I am allergic to egg and fish.

Hi, tell me how your pain responds to bending forward and/or backward, while doing these do you find some relief or does it exaggerate your pain, also does the pain radiate down your leg? get back with answers.

It can be either plantar fascitis, or calcanear spur. Though without seeing your feet and examining it properly, exact diagnosis can't be done. Still i'll give you some general suggestions. Don't wear heels, wear flats, if possible wear sandals/shoes made of mcr material, every morning as soon as you get up, before placing the feet on the ground, do some general up-down and sideways movement of feet, then take a tub filled with lukewarm water, add some salt in it, immerse your feet in it, and again do feet movements for 10-15 mins, then place a cloth or towel on the floor, place your feet over it and curl your toes, ie, bend your toes and relax, continuously for 20 times, then do calf muscles self stretching for sometime. All these will gradually reduce your problem. Visit a physiotherapist personally for some other treatments for pain relief.

Try few things for your back pain: - Apply Ice and Heat Heating pads and cold packs can comfort tender trunks. Most doctors recommend using ice for the first 48 hours after an injury -- particularly if there is swelling — and then switching to heat. You can use whichever you find comforting as long as your skin is protected. - Limit Bed Rest Studies show that people with short-term low-back pain who rest feel more pain and have a harder time with daily tasks than those who stay active. -Keep Exercising Activity is often the best medicine for back pain. Simple exercises like walking can be very helpful. But remember to move in moderation, Stay away from strenuous activities like gardening and avoid whatever motion caused the pain in the first place. -Maintain Good Posture Most people have poor posture when going about their daily activities, putting unnecessary strain on their backs. -Strengthen Your Core Most people with chronic back pain would benefit from stronger abdominal muscles. If the abdominals are weak, other areas must pick up the slack. When we strengthen the abdominals, it often reduces the strain on the lower back. - Improve Flexibility Too much tension and tightness can cause back pain. By increasing flexibility you need to put an equal load throughout the body from the feet all the way up to the head. -Sleep the Right Way The amount of rest you get is important, and so is the position you get it in. Sleeping in a bad position or on a mattress without support can cause back pain. Back sleepers should put pillows under their knees. Side sleepers should place pillows between their knees to keep their spine in a neutral position. Stomach sleeping causes the neck and head to twist and can put undue stress on the back. -Use Relaxation Techniques Research shows that practices such as meditation, deep breathing and yoga, which help put the mind at rest, can do wonders for the back. -See a Specialist Developing an individualized exercise plan is essential to managing chronic back pain. Some patients need more core strengthening while others benefit mainly from stretching and improving flexibility. Please consult a Orthopedic Physiotherapist for the right exercise plan. Best wishes.

U had not mentioned how pain started, what aggrevates, what releives pain, what all things you had done to releive pain .kindly do mention these points for better understanding problem - check for vit d, uric acid, b12 avoid heavy weight lifting avoid jerky mov avoid prolonged sitting maintain erect posture apply hot fermentation followed by vioilini. For 5 days atleast if psin still persist more tgan 5 days consult physiotherapist privately.
