I have a desk jov and so my back pains a lot and what can I do to avoid sitting on desktop and so there has been quite some days since gone to school.

I am a 27 year old, I have a lower- back and legs body ache for which there is no reason and no back conditions. Last time remember having such a back ache and leg ache when I was suffering from Malaria. I also have some amount of chills and headache in between with some loose motions.

Apply hot fomentation twice daily. Avoid bending in front. Postural correction- sit tall, walk tall. Extension exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times. Bhujang asana -- lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily. Core strengthening exercises- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Leg pain- for leg pain, please follow the below advise: keep your leg raised while sitting or lying quadriceps strengthening exercises- quad clenches: lie flat on your back or sit upright on a chair with leg kept horizontally on another surface. Now, tighten the muscle on the front of the thigh by pushing your knee down. You should feel your thigh muscles clench, hold for 3 secs. Repeat 10 times twice a day. Short arcs: lie flat on your back or sit upright with your leg placed horizontally on a flat surface like a chair or bed. Place a rolled up towel under the knee. Pull your toes towards you and clench you thigh muscles. Slowly lift your foot up off the bed until your knee is straight (keep your knee resting on the towel). Hold for 3 secs and slowly lower them on the chair. Repeat 10 times twice a day. Straight leg raise: lie flat on your back. One leg and knee will be straight and other leg should be bent. Pull your toes towards you and tighten/clench the muscle on the front of the thigh, locking your knee straight. Lift your foot up in the air, about 6 inches off the bed. Hold for 3 secs and slowly lower the leg. The knee must remain straight the whole time you are doing this exercise.

My age is 25 from last 10 days I'm suffered from back pain my X-ray is not normal in one last bone the gap is not equal. Gap is finished its not normal. .

Most likely you have intervertebral disc bulge causing decrease in gap on x ray. Most cases resolve with supportive treatment as described below. Very few cases, need treatment like epidural steroid injections for disc bulge causing sciatica. Take anti inflammatory drugs like ibuprofen round the clock for pain relief 2. Take rest for 3 to 4 days but avoid total bed rest. 4. Do back strengthening and stretching exercises daily once pain is relieved. 5. Apply analgesic cream over back followed by warm fomentation. 6. Keep pillow behind your knees at bedtime. While sleeping on sides keep pillow between knees. 7. Do not bend and lift weights. 8. If back pain is accompanied with radiating leg pain or tingling, numbness or weakness, consult immediately (read my health tip on sciatica for further information) for further queries consult again.

Increase dietary intake of vitamin B, folic acid, iron and use of vitamin supplements etc under medical supervision if blood tests confirm low concentrations Avoid irritating substances, such as… o Tobacco o Hot, spicy foods o Alcoholic beverages o Mouthwashes that contain alcohol o Products high in acid, such as citrus fruits and juices You may need Coronoplasty (smoothen teeth edges) along with Multivitamin cap, for five days in the morning after meals & antiseptic ointment or gel on the area of ulcer until then. Mouth sores are common and rarely cause complications. Most go away in about a week, but it’s important to monitor any mouth sores you develop. Hi, I am 31 yr old female, having meniscus tear in my right knee which pains lot while exercise, sometimes just after brisk walk or any fast cardiovascular activities, frm past 2 yrs. Having difficulty in exercising and hence weight gain. It's like a vicious circle. please help.

. We also advise you to use knee cap which would help to prevent the knee from damaging further and also to maintain the quadriceps muscle tone. Specific knee exercises will also help ie. Keeping ball underneath the knee and keep pressing it. That's the simple exercise which will help you to strengthen the knee.

My wife is 62 years old. She had spondylosis (affecting T2, T3 and L4 L5 revealed by MRI in 1997) way back in 1990s for about 8 years. During this period we tried almost all systems of medicines including allopathy, ayurveda, Homoeo, unani, siddhavaidya etc. But none gave a permanent relief. Finally we had settled down on allopathy as this was one of the easy remedies we found. The treatment was to take pain killers and to have bed rest. This was on the advice of my friend who was one of the seniormost orthopaedic surgeons in Safdarjung Hospital Delhi (1997). During these 7-8 years she had consumed a lot of pain killers (mainly diclofenac sodium). In 1998, however, she was cured of the problem by following naturopathy for 15 days in Delhi and following a natural hygiene. Since then she did not have any spondylosis problem. In 2013 (We moved from Delhi to Bangalore in 2003), during one of the medical check up for an Insurance application we discovered by chance that she is having High Blood Pressure (?) (150-90) and doctors advised her to start medicines for high BP immediately (envas-H 12.5 one daily). We continued the medicine for about a year. The medicine was stopped during the Naturopathy treatment in 2014 and the BP became normal. She has not taken the medicine thereafter. However, we used to check BP whenever we visit any doctor and found BP always normal. Recently by chance we found that her BP in the morning (upto around 9.00 am) is regularly in the range of (140-80 to 160-90) but after 11: 00 am the BP is normal (120-80). In the night, say after 8: 00 pm, it is again on a higher side. We are not sure when it started. She does not have any other problem except some occasional common cold (whenever climate changes) and related cough, fever, etc. My question is 1. Whether it is normal to have such fluctuations in BP during the course of the day? 2. Is it pointing to some other serious health problems needing immediate attention? 3. Is it because she stopped Envas-H after taking it for one year? I will be thankful for an early advice.

Blood pressure fluctuation sometimes occur which is normal...if she has blood pressure 150/90...it is not that much high to be worried...instead of taking medicines she should control her blood pressure by doing pranayama yoga and maintaining diet...spondylosis is curable by maintaining posture...and physiotherapy treatment

According your required do physiotherapy treatment for few days. Posture correction must. Do stretching exercise after relief. Avoid long sitting toward bending lifting weight.

Your little finger needs to be examined. Stiffness & pain in back & other joints is quite a common condition. Rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Any way take ibuprofen 200mg od & sos x 5days you will need other supportive medicines also. Take multivitamins & other antioxidants along with. Do back (spine) exercises contact me again if need be. Dear improve your posture avoid forward bending and use hard bed. Start hot saline fomentation followed by volini gel and back exercises.

Kindly state which disease you are suffering. From your history it seems that you are having rheumatoid arthritis. Kindly use antiinflammatory diet - consult dietician, do hot fomentation, use disease modifying agents not steroids. Cut down on fried food. Take milk, fresh fruit juice.

Most probably you are suffering from oa of knee. Knee surgery-total knee replacement (tkr) is quite safe & gives uniformly good results, in our hands. We have well equipped center in delhi. Do ask for detailed treatment plan. Surgery should be done when patient is still active & will be able to take benefit of surgery. Do not ignore. It could be beginning of a serious problem. Kindly show me x- rays before a final decision can be taken. You will be thoroughly investigated before surgery is under taken. Risk in surgery is less than the risk in crossing road.

Core strengthening exercises- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Back stretching- lie flat, pull one of the knee forward to chest, hold for 3 seconds, then bring the other knee forward to the chest and again hold for 3 seconds. Then pull both knees towards the chest and hold for 3 seconds. Repeat 10 times each exercise twice a day.

I have a pain on the back of my toe every morning. I have my uric acid levels increased to around 8. Please advise. Presently am on Tab Febugood 40.

I got pain in my both legs toes and above 2 inch from toes. When I am start walking its too painful but after some time of walk the pain reduces substantially but after start walking its paining again. Please suggest what to do.

Hi pain or soreness in the foot, that eases with time during the day, is generally indicative of plantar fasciitis. The first step you take generally after sitting or standing for a long time or when you get up from the bed is painful. As you start walking the pain clears up. Plantar fascia is a ligament that connects your heel bone to your toes. Other causes of foot pain can be rheumatoid arthritis, faulty arch, ligament tears, fractures, and gout. +wear soft padded footwear. +do stretching of calf muscles +learn strengthening exercise of ankle +take contrast bath at physio clinic. Hello. Avoid bending forwards and lifting heavy weights. Take hot cold fomentation 3-4 times a day. Routine pain killers will help alleviate the pain after which you should start back/core strengthening exercises.
