My pimples are almost gone, but there are many marks on my face, please suggest any good cream.
Many treatment options are available for Acne scars and pigmentation which the pimples leave behind after healing. Some creams are available. Chemical peels can help you reduce the scars and pigmentation but the best treatment is carbon dioxide laser. Carbon dioxide laser resurfascing can improve the scars by about 60 to 80 percent in about 6 sittings.

I'm suffering from hair loss since last three months my age is 26 what I have to do please.
For people suffering from hair fall, amla or the indian gooseberry is a blessing. It is packed with vitamin c and antioxidants that can reverse hair loss if it is in its initial stage. Steps: use either amla juice or powder and mix it with lemon juice. Apply it on the scalp and leave it to dry. Rinse hair using lukewarm water.

Impetigo - Causes And Symptoms

MBBS, Diploma in Dermatology
Dermatologist, Pune
Impetigo - Causes And Symptoms

Impetigo is a type of skin infection commonly seen in children and rarely in adults. It is contagious in nature; bacteria like staphylococcus aureus and at times, streptococcus pyogenes, are responsible for the occurrence of this infection. Generally, the face, hand and neck regions of the children get affected. Impetigo can be classified into two kinds: non-bullous impetigo or impetigo contagiosa and bullous impetigo.

Non-bullous impetigo appears like red sores, which burst rapidly, leaving behind a brownish yellow crust and is more contagious in nature. Bullous impetigo, on the other hand, is generally painless and the blisters are fluid-filled.

The causes of impetigo are as follows:

1. Warm and humid climate may trigger impetigo

2. Contact with an infected child can spread the infection to a healthy child.

3. Cuts or injuries can be responsible for impetigo

4. Sports like football and wrestling can also sometimes lead to impetigo.

5. Insect bite and skin rashes

6. Prolonged use of diapers

7. Skin problems like eczema or burns

8. Skin inflammation may also result in impetigo.

9. At times, animal bites may also result in impetigo.

Impetigo is generally noticed in children belonging to the age group of two-five years. Some of the most common symptoms of impetigo are mentioned below:

1. Blisters that are filled with fluid

2. Red colored sores can pop out on the infected region

3. Itching sensation

4. Lymph nodes may become swollen

5. Pus may come out from the sores

6. Sometimes the sores may look like pimples

Impetigo, though easily curable, must not be ignored as it can spread rapidly to the other parts of your body. If you wish to discuss about any specific problem, you can consult a dermatologist.

I am 42 years male, having psoriasis from 15 years. Can it be eradicated? please help me out. Fed-up in life.

I am 42 years male, having psoriasis from 15 years. Can it be eradicated? please help me out. Fed-up in life.
Psoriasis is manageable, the traditional approach is to start with the mildest treatments topical creams and ultraviolet light therapy (phototherapy) and then progress to stronger ones only if necessary. The goal is to find the most effective way to slow cell turnover with the fewest possible side effects coupled with a dietary therapy specially designed to manage psoriasis. Researchers found several studies linking obesity to an increased risk for psoriatic disease. These studies indicate that a higher body mass index (bmi) is associated with an elevated risk for developing psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis, as well as increased disease severity. Obesity may provide the nudge that triggers psoriasis in people who are already predisposed to it, researchers also found that in overweight individuals, losing weight may improve the effectiveness of treatments. So if you lose weight, you may be reducing fuel for the fire. I being a both a registered dietitian (rd) and doctor have been successfully helping patients with their problems through a holistic approach using customized therapeutic diet and medications. I will also suggest home remedies. Do reply back for private consultation for rx.

hie lybrate user Pimple marks go slowly,as the skin repairs itself. You can apply pure aloe vera gel on these marks twice a day. And you can apply multani mitti with rose water. this will help fade your marks.. Also drink plenty of water and have fruits daily

Dear lybrate-user Your problem seems to be related to some applications of cosmetics on your skin. You should immediately stop all cosmetics and avoid any harsh soaps on the face. You can consult a skin specialist and he/she will guide you specifically what medicines to apply. With warm regards

Facewash with exfoliating agent like glycolic or salicylic or vit c is good for oily and acne prone skin. You have to go with medicated facewash. Concern me privately on lybrate.

He is having Hair fall. How to solve this problem? Is there any proper medical treatment for this?

He is having Hair fall. How to solve this problem? Is there any proper medical treatment for this?
Hello, there can be many reasons behind it like *physical or emotional stress, inadequate protein intake, genetics, anemia, aging, hormonal changes, prolonged illness, deficiency of vitamin b6 and folic acid, thyroid diseases. *hair fall can also result when one indulges in too much dying, blow drying or use of hot curlers. *dandruff can also be great cause behind hair fall. Take homoeopathic medicines 1. Weisbaden 30 (4 drops in little water) every morning empty stomach only one dose in a day for 15 days. 2. Jobarandi q (10 drops in little water) twice a day for 15 days and update. Apply jobarandi hair oil. *make a habit of 8-10 glasses of water daily. *eat healthy and balanced food like pulses, green leafy vegetables, fresh fruits and nuts etc. *eggs as it is loaded with essential nutrients such as proteins, vitamin b12, iron, zinc and omega 6 fatty acids in large amount. *add more vitamin rich food to your diet. *avoid stress and anger. *cut down the use of hair spray, hair gel. *take a sound sleep. *avoid too much exposure of your hair to sunlight. *avoid hot hair styling tools, as they damage hair and cause split ends. *it is best not to comb the hair while it is wet as this leads to greater chances of hair breakage.
