My teeth is yellow. How can I get white teeth?

MDS - Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery
Dentist,
My teeth is yellow. How can I get white teeth?
Cause of discoloration ? Smoking, coffee, tea, drugs, aging, staining food (wine, blueberry, etc) genetics. We need more investigations to decide upon treatment. You may need deep cleaning along with whitening (bleaching) procedures and / or artificial enamel filling and / or capping. Advance procedures can be done with laser. Use Snowdent tooth paste for whitening until then. Apply SNOWDENT paste on the teeth. Wait for 10 to 15 min .Then brush your teeth with the same paste. Applying it overnight for better results. DENTAL TIPS: - Visit a dentist every six months for cleaning and a thorough dental check-up. Limit sugary food to avoid tooth decay. Gargle your mouth thoroughly after every meal. Scrub gently to clean your tongue with a tongue cleaner. Floss all your teeth inter dentally & brush twice daily, morning & night, up & down short vertical strokes, with ultra-soft bristles, indicator brush. Tooth brush to be changed every 2 months.

Hello, gums can recede because of deposits or traumatic bite. Get your scaling and polishing done from a dentist. Once the gums are receded it is difficult to recover. You can keep them healthy by maintaning your oral hygiene.

I am 34 years old I have inside mouth upper jaw is in black color. so, what is the reason. please suggest.?

BDS
Dentist, Mumbai
Going by your discription I think you are talking about upper jaw gums. If yes, then there is a procedure called depigmentation of gums. That black colour is usually due melanin which is responsible for skin colour. Check on internet or consult me or see your doc. Will be happy to help u.

Sometime I have swelling in my teeth and some liquid comes from there. What should I do please help.

MDS - Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery
Dentist, Chennai
Sometime I have swelling in my teeth and some liquid comes from there.
What should I do please help.
The type of treatment you have for toothache/swelling will depend on the cause of the pain, so your dentist will examine your mouth and may carry out an X-ray to try to identify the problem. •If your toothache/swelling is caused by tooth decay, your dentist will remove the decayed area and replace it with a filling. •If your toothache/swelling is caused by a loose or broken filling, the filling will be taken out, any decay will be removed and a new filling put in place. •If the pulp inside your tooth is infected, you may need root canal treatment. This procedure involves removing the infected pulp and then inserting a special type of filling to seal the tooth and prevent re-infection. •If your toothache/swelling can't be treated using these methods, or if your tooth is impacted (wedged between another tooth and your jaw), it may need to be removed.

For toothache which medicine should I take, had flexon?

BDS
Dentist,
For toothache which medicine should I take, had flexon?
You can take a pain killer tablet like brufen 400 / combiflam /diclogem for a temporary relief and consult a dentist for proper treatment of the tooth to avoid same problem in future. (note: pain killer tablets are also not solution because they only treat the symptom and not the cause of tooth pain. Also harmful for the body if taken for longer periods without proper supervision.) pain can be due to various factors visit your dentist and get a proper examination done which may include x-rays if necessary, to get a precise diagnosis, after which dentist can give you exact alternatives of treatment options and then you can make decision as to get which appropriate treatment suitable to your problem and needs. Regards, Dr. Hiten shah swastik dental care.

Soft drinks, cordials and fruit juices should be consumed in a limited quantity because they are acidic in nature. Acidic food or drinks often soften the tooth material which leads to the dissolution of minerals into the tooth enamel, resulting in cavities (holes).
