Hi thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. I am Dr. Akshay from fortis hospital, new delhi. You are very young to have a persistent back pain as a health issue. If you have localized back pain with no other symptoms like radiating leg pain, neurological symptoms like numbness, weakness, paresthesias etc, then you can start with following recommendations for initial period of 2-3 weeks: - to maintain proper posture of your back while working and sleeping - if pain is more then you can take a short course of an anti-inflammatory medication like tab etoshine or paracetamol or one which suits you - physical therapy initially under supervision of a trained physiotherapist and then to continue at home - adequate calcium & vitamin d intake if levels are low in body - ice packs can applied if your pain is acute, then hot fomentation can be done at home - analgesic spray for local application can be used and is easily available. - avoid lifting heavyweight/ acute forward bending in mornings etc we will observe you for next 2-3 weeks how you respond to this conservative management protocol. If you are not feeling better, then we will have to get some investigations like dynamic x rays of lower back and few blood tests for evaluation. Use tea tree face wash and toner twice daily. Use aha glow face wash once in a day. Use sunscreen with spf 30 daily. Use natural face pack of multani mitti and lemon 2 times a week. You can also use apple cider vinegar for 5 minutes after washing your face and splash it clean with water. Most important is diet- do not eat junk, eat more vegetables and fruits especially with vitamin c.

Hi lybrate-user 1. Add fiber to your diet constipation distends your belly, add veggies and fruits to your daily diet to relieve you of constipation, reduce intakes of refined cereals like maida, noodles, pasta and whole grains instead add dalia and oats. This would relieve you of constipation and bloat to give you a flat tummy. 2. Decrease sodium intake sodium retains water in the body and hence your belly swells up, reduce intake of junk food as it contains a lot of sodium. Stop adding extra salt to dishes, also packaged and processed food contains a lot of salts so better avoid it. 3. Increase potassium foods rich in potassium help you get rid of balancing sodium, fruits are very good source of potassium, adding them to their daily diet not only provides this nutrient but also increase the fiber content of your daily intake 4. Avoid sugar alcohols we do not completely digest these low-calorie sweeteners usually found in flavoured low-calorie drinks, diabetic and sugar-free foods. Bacteria in a large intestine ferment during gas and distension so check food labels and avoid sorbitol, xylitol and lacitol. 5. Increase liquids drinking plenty of liquids helps flush out toxins from the body. Keep yourself hydrated with at least 8 glasses of water, also include lassi, coconut, water, lemon water in your daily routine. Make sure to include homemade soups only, as packaged soups are not that nutritious and contain added sodium in them. 6. Carbonated beverages and alcohol these give you extended bellies and your dream of flat tummy falls flat. Alcohol gives you empty calories with zero nutrition. 7. Probiotic curds include low fat curd in your diet regime as it contains live bacteria which tame bloating by increasing intestinal motility. 8. Method of cooking no doubt salads and sprouts are good for our health but if experience distension with them then saute, blanch or steam them also fried foods are best to be avoided not only because of their high-calorie content but also because frying leads to changes in oil composition which may result in bloating. 9. Avoid chewing gums and candies while chewing them air enters our digestive system, giving us feeling of bloating, also candies are zero in nutrition but contain loads of calories. Also, eat slowly as gulping down increases air passage to the digestive system 10. Individual tolerances some individuals are more intolerant to certain foods like radish, capsicum, tea, cauliflower etc, so with your own personal experience omit them from your diet.

Antipyretics for fever and antihistamines for cold will be helpful during acute problem. Increase ur immunity by having healthy diet and drink plenty of liquids. Hope this helps u.

Hello, High calories foods are recommended daily shakes banana shakes, chiku shakes + honey and mango shakes, Eat a lot of protein rich food, dairy products, starchy food, eg. beans, pulses, eggs, fish, and meat and also potato, almonds, low-fat cheese and yoghurt. Never skip meals.Eat more than your usual calorie intake as this is the simplest way to gain extra kilos

I am a 50 year male having backache, neck pain in nerves for the last 15 years and now started knee pain in maniscus area what should I do.

It could be due to cervical spondylosis this is quite a common condition rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Use no pillow under the head. Any way take ibuprofen 200mg od & sos x 5days do neck & back (spine) exercises use of cervical collar will give you relief. It may have to be further investigated. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take you will need other supportive medicines also. Do ask for detailed treatment plan. Do not ignore. It could be beginning of a serious problem.

Hi these problems are due to improper diet and daily schedule. Try this a) avoid spicy and non-vegetarian diet b) go to bed early and avoid late night sessions c) tab gandhak rasayana 1 twice a day d) khadirarishta 2 tsp twice a day with water e) clarina face wash f) maha manjisthadi kwath 2 tsp twice a day with water.

From the description you have given there is no option other than breast reduction surgery which is done by plastic surgeons who can reduce the size and at the same time make the breasts shapely too. However depending on the expertise of the plastic surgeon and the present size of the breast she will have to settle with an inverted't' vertical or a scar on the inferior surface of the breast. Your friend will be wasting time and energy looking for non surgical methods which will not work and have no beneficial effect.

Looks like you have fungal infection. You are advised to see a near by dermatologist for further evaluation and treatment. 4-5 moths you have been suffering and neglecting, that's not a healthy thing.

Hello, here are some tips to increase your weight, but most important is your confidence. Your looks don't define you, your talent does, so cheer up and go with the confidence for your interviews: ok so let's talk about weight gain, healthy weight gain: eat more often. Frequent meals. Min 6 meals in a day. Increase your protein intake. Have nuts, eggs, soyabean, soya paneer, cheese, milk. Don't drink water before meals. This can fill your stomach and can affect your appetite. Eat plenty of calories at each meal. In between you meals you can have nuts or milkshakes. Like banana milkshake, chikku milk shake. Get quality sleep. Heavy stress can also affect your weight gain. Avoid stress. Keep your body hydrated. Drink plenty of water. Try to avoid junk and fried foods. They can affect your metabolism and can cause you to gain fat instead of muscles.

Clean the intestines every week with tarunikusumakar chooran 2 tsp with warm water at night. Take drakshavaleh 2 tsp and mix in it mandoor bhasm 250 mg, mukta pishti 250 mg, shatavari chooran 3 gms twice a day for a month. Drink milk with it. Have sumptuous diet and fruits. Repirt after a month for next step.

DEAR Lybrate USER. You have to follow some basic things so that you get better results in a short period of time. 1) take solid diet two times in a day and liquid diet two times in a day 2) drink only 100-150 ml of lukewarm water during meals . 3) don’t drink water before meal for one hour and one hour after meal 4) avoid oily, spicy, junk, fermented and stale foods. 5) avoid late night sleeping habits 6) avoid coffee and tea. A) take 30ml of triphala juice and 10 ml of honey early in the morning on empty stomach and at night before sleep. B) take 30 ml of DAAAIMAVLEHA after meals along with 30 ml of water. C) take 2-2 tablets of arogyavardhini vati and sutshekhar rasa after meals, do all things for 30 days. This formulation is effective.

You can use mahabhringraj oil of kottakal pharmacy. Massage lukewarm oil for 15-20 mins and then wrap a towel soaked in warm water for 10 mins. Use amalaki juice in your diet. Anti hairfall cream (himalaya) during night is also helpful.

No it doesn't if you wash your face properly and use a good moisturizer. Go for a tea tree based face wash and an aloe vera based moisturizer.
