DEAR Shoulder pain Physiotherapy uses a number of different physical methods to promote healing. If you are referred to a physiotherapist, they should explain to you what treatment they will use and how it will work. Possible treatments include: •specific shoulder exercises – for example, if you have shoulder instability, you may be given exercises to strengthen your shoulder •massage – where the physiotherapist uses their hands to manipulate your shoulder Read more about some of the different techniques used inphysiotherapy. Shoulder exercises If you have shoulder pain, it's important to keep your shoulder joint mobile with light and gentle movement. Not using your shoulder can cause your muscles to waste away and may make any stiffness worse. Therefore, if possible, you should continue using your shoulder as normal. If your shoulder is very stiff, exercise may be painful. Your GP or physiotherapist can give you exercises to do without further damaging your shoulder. You may be given exercises to do on your own, or you may complete the exercises with supervision from your GP or physiotherapist. You may also have manual therapy, where the healthcare professional moves your arm for you. Manual therapy uses special techniques to move the joints and soft tissues in your shoulder. One review of a number of studies found that long-term physiotherapy was as effective as surgery for impingement syndrome (any type of damage to the tendons in the rotator cuff). Try to avoid heavy, spicy, oily, fried meals - do walking exercises daily. Sometimes gas gets trapped in abdomen and resembles heart problems. If ecg - bp and other issues are normal then probablitiy of gas is more prompt.

I am having a back bone and neck pain after wakeup from sleep. How can I get the pain relief ?
The most common form of morning stiffness and pain is due to muscle imbalances and poor conditioning of the muscles themselves. Here are some tips for how to handle your back pain: -while sleeping, try lying in a curled-up, fetal position with a pillow between your legs. If you usually sleep on your back, place a pillow or rolled towel under your knees to relieve pressure. -find a mattress with back support. A good mattress should provide support for the natural curves and alignment of the spine. Medium-firm mattresses usually provide more back pain relief than firm mattresses. -do not perform activities that involve heavy lifting or twisting of your back -avoid bending forward and sitting in a place for long time -stretching and strengthening exercises are important. -a physiotherapist can tell you when to begin stretching and strengthening exercises and learn how to safely, easily, stretch and strengthen the weak and tight areas of your lower back and hips which cause pain while sleeping. Apply hot fomentation twice daily. Avoid bending in front. Postural correction- sit tall, walk tall. Extension exercises x 15 times x twice daily. Bhujang asana. Core strengthening exercises. Back stretching. Do the cat/cow stretch.

Kindly show me a photograph of the affected part. Rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Do hot fomantation. Paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck, back & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. You will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, contact me again. Do not ignore. It could be beginning of a serious problem.

Hello lybrate user, - back pain is common in leucorrhea - leucorrhea might bcz of diet impairment or harmon related. - you need to correct it asap. - prepare decoction out of ajwain and ginger add a pinch of turmeric and honey to it and have it before food twice daily - avoid heavy foods in the night. - make sure you are getting register cycles - excess of sleep/ day sleep will trigger this problem. - for now take pushyanuga churna with warm water twice daily after food. - leuco-r cap 2-0-2 after food. Report after 15days. Thank you.

For blood pressure: walk for 45 minutes daily, switch to sendha namak and strictly avoid iodized salt. Iodized salt is banned in 20 countries because it is one of the main reason of impotency and abnormal blood pressure. Iodine is mainly deprived from all pulses and vegetables grown beneath earth like onion, potato, radish, carrot, yams. In low bp drink luke warm water with 1/2 tea spoon sendha namak in morning (1 month. In high bp bath with salt water (sendha namak). Put 25 grams sendha namak in 1 bucket water and bath with it, do not put that water on your head. After the bath do not wipe your body with towel for 15 minutes, within 15-20 days high bp will be ok. For knee pain: take 5 to 7 leaves of parizaad tree (harsinghaar) grind it into a paste, now put that paste to boil in 100ml water and keep boiling until the water comes to half, now drink that like a tea for not more than 15 days. Never consume refined or double refined oil. Mustard, olive or cow ghee only. For swelling please consult with more details.

Apply hot fomentation twice daily. \navoid bending in front. \npostural correction- sit tall, walk tall. Extension exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times. Bhujang asana? lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily. Core strengthening exercises- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a da.
