Hi lybrate-user if your belly is lowering your self-confidence and giving you sleepless nights, here are the tips to give you flatter and fitter tummy. 1. Add fiber to your diet constipation distends your belly, add veggies and fruits to your daily diet to relieve you of constipation, reduce intakes of refined cereals like maida, noodles, pasta and whole grains instead add dalia and oats. This would relieve you of constipation and bloat to give you a flat tummy. 2. Decrease sodium intake sodium retains water in the body and hence your belly swells up, reduce intake of junk food as it contains a lot of sodium. Stop adding extra salt to dishes, also packaged and processed food contains a lot of salts so better avoid it. 3. Increase potassium foods rich in potassium help you get rid of balancing sodium, fruits are very good source of potassium, adding them to their daily diet not only provides this nutrient but also increase the fiber content of your daily intake 4. Avoid sugar alcohols we do not completely digest these low-calorie sweeteners usually found in flavoured low-calorie drinks, diabetic and sugar-free foods. Bacteria in a large intestine ferment during gas and distension so check food labels and avoid sorbitol, xylitol and lacitol. 5. Increase liquids drinking plenty of liquids helps flush out toxins from the body. Keep yourself hydrated with at least 8 glasses of water, also include lassi, coconut, water, lemon water in your daily routine. Make sure to include homemade soups only, as packaged soups are not that nutritious and contain added sodium in them. 6. Carbonated beverages and alcohol these give you extended bellies and your dream of flat tummy falls flat. Alcohol gives you empty calories with zero nutrition. 7. Probiotic curds include low fat curd in your diet regime as it contains live bacteria which tame bloating by increasing intestinal motility. 8. Method of cooking no doubt salads and sprouts are good for our health but if experience distension with them then saute, blanch or steam them also fried foods are best to be avoided not only because of their high-calorie content but also because frying leads to changes in oil composition which may result in bloating. 9. Avoid chewing gums and candies while chewing them air enters our digestive system, giving us feeling of bloating, also candies are zero in nutrition but contain loads of calories. Also, eat slowly as gulping down increases air passage to the digestive system 10. Individual tolerances some individuals are more intolerant to certain foods like radish, capsicum, tea, cauliflower etc, so with your own personal experience omit them from your diet.

Hyperglycemia is a result of multiple factors. Food intake, is only one aspect of it. Insulin secretion. Insulin uptake. Diabetes on conventional management relies only on controlling blood sugars. But over the time, more and more insulin resistance acts up and hence no response to meds are met. Consider homeopathy that focuses on increasing the body's functions and reduces dependencies on replacement medicines as antidiabetics or insulin.

Always evacuate your bladder before going to sleep. Drink less water after evening hours. Do Kegel Exercises to strengthen your pelvic floor muscles. Tell your mind consciously before going to sleep that 'You are not going to leak tonight". It helps in reinforcing your subconscious willpower during sleep to stop this.

Hello some of the natural remedies to improve the hair loss problem are: 1. Do not wash your hair daily. 2. Give you head hot oil massage - mix of olive, almond, coconut and sesame oil. 3. Eat food rich in proteins 4. Apply some natural herbs like bringraj, amla and shikakai 5. You can apply raw amla juice daily 6. Use apple cider vinegar to maintain ph levels of scalp 7. Keep your head covered in sun and pollution.

I just removed my tooth but it's base is still there as the dentist is unable to extract it because of excessive pain. So if still left there does it cause any harm in future.

I just removed my tooth but it's base is still there as the dentist is unable to extract it because of excessive pain...
Dear Lybrate User, By base you mean to say that the remaining tooth or root structure (a root stump to be precise!) has been left behind by you dentist while extracting the tooth. Now if the tooth was already infected, leaving the tooth or root fragment like that might call for infection and pain in the future. If the dentist has left the last bit of the root inside which is not loose and accessible, it might be left in-situ. You need the dentist to take an X-Ray of the remaining tooth or root to determine its precise location. For all practical purposes, if you do not have any symptoms, you may defer the extraction but if you have lingering pain or any infection, you MUST get the remaining portion extracted by some more specialised dentist like an Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon. Take Care!

Hello, dandruff causes hair loss so its necessary to treat dandruff first. Take thuja 200, 5 drops in the morning, once in a week. Take arnica q and cochleria arom. Q in equal amount, mix with equal amount of coconut oil, and apply this on your scalp, thrice a day. Wash your hair with b&t anti- dandruff shampoo. Home remedies are as follows:- coconut oil helps eliminate dandruff due to its antifungal properties. It also moisturises dry scalp and provides relief from itching. Take some coconut oil and mix half the amount of lemon juice in it. 1. Rub it on your scalp and massage for a few minutes. 2. Wash your hair after at least 20 minutes. 3. Follow this remedy two to three times a week. Revert me after 1 month.

I am suffering from dengue from last 1 year .but I am still as it is. What can I do.
Dengue is a self limiting viral fever with usual symptoms of severe influenza or viral disease and gets relieved by some symptomatic medications, rest etc. Very rarely there are complications like hemorrhagic disease or multiple organ failure in some vulnerable people like small children, aged or with chronic disorders. You should see a Physician with all old reports of tests and prescriptions for a review and diagnosis.
